A Region For You - Auzzenetia

Postby Aulerania » Mon Oct 19, 2015 3:24 am

Hello all you lovely NSers.
I would like to tell you guys about a teeny tiny region you may be interested in. It is called Auzzenetia, and is loosely based off of real life Oceania. I want it to become a large region and very popular. Anyone is welcome (except raiders) and it will pretty much be decided by citizens, it is definitely not a dictatorship.
Currently I am the only member (Founder) so we have all positions unfilled. That means no Delegate! A Dispatch will be up soon for you to see how you can become the first Delegate!
Another pressing issue is that I am in need of a map maker to create a regional map for roleplay. I took a crack at it myself but the result was worthy of The Noob Prize. So, that's a pretty good reason to join!

So what do you think? Come along and have a look, I'm sure you'll like it!
Come and join Auzzenetia today!

Attention
We now have Gyatso-Kai as our map maker. However the Delegate spot remains unfilled so come on over!
Thank you to Antarticaria who joined the region! Welcome!

UPDATE!
Auzzenetia now has a regional forum on Zetaboards!
You may now sign up at http://s15.zetaboards.com/Auzzenetia/index/
Remember, all Governmenf positions are still open and have not had any interest in them yet. So join today and possibly become our very first Delegate for our long lasting region!

Stop bumping your recruitment thread. No-one will care if you continue to do so.

What a way to try and destroy smaller and unsuccessful regions. If no one cares, thats my own problem. Not yours

He's posting news. Regions are encouraged to do that. It's you who should stop trying to bump up your post count.

I love your enthusiasm, but threads in these forums don't often get you too many recruits. Are you using recruitment telegrams as well?

This post explains how to recruit using telegrams if you're not sure how to go about that.

Thank you for your thoughts, I have read over your posts before which helped me make the region. However i can't waste money on stamps so I can only rely on the individual recruitment which hasn't proved successful. Mostly I'm playing a waiting game, hoping that one day it might prosper or I can think of something to make the region unique.
Also thanks Sedgistan.

Mhmm yes stamps can be expensive. Have you looked into using the API to recruit? I'm not completely familiar with it myself but my guide linked to some information on it.

What makes you think your region would interest anybody if it's founder isn't ready put some work for it?

Useful, Hopefully: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=353470

Instead, what comes to missing delegate in your region, I'm sure we can make some arrangements... :p

I wrote a guide to an effective manual recruitment strategy awhile back that you may find useful: https://www.nationstates.net/page=dispatch/id=394557

I've built fairly large regions off of that method before (though it takes a couple hours of dedicated recruitment each day), so I know it works. I also got an SC resolution passed with the same method, telegramming individual delegates, so it's good for campaigning as well.

Official News
It's been a while, but I've decided to refound Auzzenetia under a different puppet. This time I'm ready to put some real work Into it. My main nation has almost passed the one year mark, so I'm pretty experienced now. Hopefully, this region will go somewhere! Feel free to join with your main or a puppet at Auzzenetia.

Hey! Good to find this thread.

I've chosen Auzzenetia as my home because it is not often you see tiny regions like this that are that cheery and hopeful. I enjoy region-building a lot - it's better to be in a small region that is building itself up than in one which has zero growth, a lot of people, and a group of elites that doesn't like its power being challenged.

I hope to make Auzzenetia really democratic, with direct democracy and changing governments, because frankly, there are no real regional democracies that I have come across as of yet. We will be having elections once we have a population of 8 - we are halfway through to that goal. Join Auzzenetia now!

The USA was in NATO when the American Civil War happened, but the Confederacy coup didn't cause it to be kicked out, did it?
