Stop receiving WA telegrams

Postby DarkBlaspheme » Sun Oct 11, 2015 5:46 am

Hello,

I would like to know if there's a way to stop receiving WA telegrams that notify me that some resolution has been passed. Or at least not showing it in the notifications.

Thank you :)

No, they cannot be turned off (to my knowledge). There's been some discussion about changing that, but no fruit yet.
James 1:26-27, Matthew 7:21-23
If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. | Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

There is: leaving the World Assembly.

The notices can also be disabled by going into subscriptions and unchecking Telegram.

Well, yes, leaving the WA should do it, but I wasn't thinking that way. And the OP could be referring to the notice on the telegrams button, not necessarily the literal notices system.

My personal opinion on this is that:

If you are bothered by receiving WA telegrams, don't be in the WA

being in the WA is your responsibility and it's not like countries leave the UN because they get mail and announcements from them.
