Even though this quote's legitimacy is questioned, I find it an interesting concept; taking the best parts of other nations' militaries to make an unbeatable army. So, rules are you can chose five things, (technology, soldiers, training, equipment. etc,) from five, (past or present,) countries. Feel free to comment on others' choices, but in a civil manner. Since I'm OP, I'm obliged to go first.

Turian...slaves...I don't see that happening, they'd sooner die then fight for the enemy as slaves. Besides, a fleet crewed by slaves is probably worse then one crewed by krogan, at least the latter would want to fight.
