Prime Minister Casian Drago was a man of routines, you could stop the clock for each of his actions and you would find nearly the same results everytime.
He would arrive at his office on 8:53 am, would start with his work at sharp 9:00 am and would make his break at sharp 12:30.
Right now it was 8:30 and he drove into the downtown district of Alexandria when something unusual happened. His mobile phone got a call. Not his personal phone but the one that screamed 'emergency'. In the last year there were exactly 10 emergencies each of them with a huge impact and each of them at night. It was highly unusual that he was called when a emergency session could be in place 30 minutes later.
He picked it up while his driver never showed his surprise.
" Yes ?"
" Voice recognized, please wait Mr. Prime Minister you will forwarded."
The clean voice belonged to a artificial system that was developed in the last 5 years, security measures became rather tight since Queen Yagmur III took up regency.
There was a sharp click and a voice he recognized instantly greeted him. " Mr. Prime Minister, I'm sorry for the circumstances but..."
" Just spill it Helen, what happened this time ?"
" We are on Echelon I since 20 Seconds Sir. You know what this means yes ?"
He gulped, off course he knew what Echelon I was, every men and women at Minister Level or higher was briefed about the security protocol.
" There were no registered attacks."
" Not yet sir and if we time this right there will be no attacks on our lands."

This was the last straw. Operation Goliath in just about a hour ? This was insane. It was just a plan, nothing was fixed up, no mobilization no...
The call was allready cancelled when he started to fire questions.

Maximilian was his driver since 4 years, he knew him and he knew this slight tremble in the voice of the Prime Minister.
They reached Echelon Home within 20 Minutes, it was a bunker designed during the cold war to withstand nuclear attacks. Also it was the command centre in times of 'Echelon I' or highest alert.
While he marched towards the command centre he was quickly briefed. " Philia is a go sire, there is no major force opposed to our plans. The plan is to make it with a minimum loss on civilians." 'not that the Jews cared for this in the 60s' he thought to himself while the assistant continued. "... got Philipus in motion allready, the REF can enter the country within 2 hours. Group Cleopatra is fully manned and can set sail within the hour..."
" When was this ordered ? I never signed anything."
" The preparations were ordered by her majesty and got the approval of the Senat yesterday."
Yesterday, this was insane, a mobilization should take at least a week if not longer.
" We estimate 200 000 men on the Israelic side in the first days of war. This should be manageable." A warning tone echoed trough the hall. " It seemed we are ready, T - 10 Minutes for the first surgery missions." So they were in range.
In the end they reached the command centre. Several screens were allready manned and in the middle of the room a large map displayed a detailed map of Israel with several blips.
" Blue I in range, target acknowledged."
" Blue II, target acknowledged and targeted."
Several more voices shouted in short order while the Prime Minister still viewed the map.
' The Airport of Tel Aviv, Military Bases in Dimona and Sderot, the City of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv what in Plutos re..."
" Everyone is ready your majesty, fire at your command." This was another voice the Prime Minister recognized. General Santoro, Commander of the Sues Army.
Now he could see her majesty in person. She looked older then her 23 years, much more mature. She wore a black dress that was different from her mostly conservative wardrobe. The most radical change however was the icy glare towards one of the screens.
" Thank you general. Cassian, so good that you could join us. Just in time for the greatest moment in Valerians History. The moment of revenge. Live feeds please."
Some screens were replaced with camera feeds from planes, mostly F-26s but in some cases also B-11s and in one case even from a B-52.
They showed various scenes, Airfields, Cities, Bunkers and in some cases there were images from the ground, including government buildings.
" This is for Nassim you bastards. Fire at your own will, Final Stage of Goliath is a go I repeat final stage of Goliath is a go."
Everyone hold his breath and for a second nothing happened. Then there was a bright flash and several explosions could be seen. At least 6 groups charged trough floors, smashing doors and shooting everyone in the room in the process. There was no mercy, not when time was essential.
" The Prime Minister is dead."
" Defence Minister is dead."
" The President is dead."
The explosions still continued and even without audio support everyone in the room could imagine the destruction.
3 of the teams were still active until they reached large halls with several rockets.
" Arsenal is secured, operation is a go repeat operation is a go."
" Gentlemen that was a fine display of craftmanship. Now let's see what they will do without a commanding structure. Send in your Troops general and now it is time to broadcast what we had done." The Queen actually smiled, this was rare. It was not her political mask, this time she was actually happy. Finally revenge would be delivered.

One hour later all TV-Programs of Valerys disrupted the programm to broadcast her majesties speech, this time she was in her office.
" My fellow subjects, nations of the world, men and women of Israel:
As of 9 am the truce between the Kingdom of Valerys and the State of Israel is negated. Armed forces will invading the state of Israel as we speak. To prevent a bloodsheed we request anyone to keep calm and not showing any resistance. We are invading Israel to right a major insult dealt with us in 1968 when we were attacked unprovoked by Israelic forces, killing Valerian Civillians by the thousands. We are putting something right that should never happened and anyone intefering will be dealt with accordingly.

August 24:
Battle of Mitzpe Ramon:
After the speech was wired there is a small militia force combined with stationed troops of the Israelic Defense Forces starting the attempt to stop the invasion before real damage was dealt.

IDF Forces:
2500 soldiers, 20 Tanks

Valerian Forces (Vanguard + Air Support):
9000 Soldiers, 100 Tanks, 50 Multi Role Fighter Jets.

Result:
Devastating Defeat for the IDF 900 People death, 1400 captives, 15 destroyed tanks, 5 tanks conquered.

August 27:
The heat was the real killer in this war, not the Merkava Tanks, not the few F-15s that survived the bombardement.
The sun was far more merciless. General Santoro took another sip of his water, thankfully they were right now stationed at Masada, the city was conquered yesterday with less to no fighting.
This war would be over in three, maybe four days depending on the events on the north front. Three more days and he could return to his family. War was allways a gamble with your life, even if the opponent was just 1/6 of your forces.
He was disrupted when the entry to the tent was oppened and a female soldier entered. She was a first seargant and wore the sign of the Valerian Agency of Intelligence.
" The news sir, there are 4 telegrams labeled important and one as very important."
" Thank you seargeant, you may leave." He took a short scan, most of the telegrams came from other parts of the army stationed in Israel except for three different messages, all of them labelled important.
The first one was interesting to say at least, a report from Hebron and Halhul, apparently the jewish officer there, a man called Joshua was utterly incompettent, the cities were now conquered by Palestine Terrorists who proposed an alliance, with a base in Hebron, Jerusalem could be besieged within the end of the week, Efrata and Tkoa were smaller cities without much resistance.
The Second news came from the Militia in the Gaza Strip, apparently Ashod was conquered as well, cutting Beersheba from the rest of Israel, maybe just maybe he was spared of conquering the damn city with his troops.
The third news was really odd, coming all the way from Alexandria. The Queen expressed her desire to visit the troops, good publicity and all this bullshit. Well within Dimona there would be not that much of a problem but he growled, royals and their pitty games of politics. It was better to beat someone up instead of stabbing him in the back.
The rest of the reports were rather normal save for a message from the Cleopatra, apparently the IDF managed to cut a rather large force together, 20 000 Men and at least a hundred tanks, their mistake was to use the highway near the Sea, at least 15 000 Men were dead, the rest was defeated by Palestine Militia.
He sighted, maybe it was better to end this war quickly, after Jerusalem the time was right for negotiations, of course they would conquer the whole of Israel up to the Golan Heights, the only question was would they give it freely in exchange to all the captured soldiers and the guarantee that no one was harmed ? If yes they were Idiots, even more then he allready thought. Of course they would not be harmed, after they were kicked out and send to the first country that would take them with no passports as Israel wouldn't exist on the landscape anymore.

The chanting outside grew louder and louder. He walked into anther room, and looked out a window, only to see several thousand protesters outside. He began to prepare a speech.

Several minutes later, the man stepped outside. The soothing Caucasus wind breezed by him. The crowd grew quiet. He began his speech.

"Citizens of Azovskaya. We have watched the war in Israel closely. We see the obliteration of IDF troops in the nation. Azovskaya will not intervene. Valerys has not committed any war crimes or crimes against humanity. Although we are not fond of their reasons to invade Israel, we will not intervene in any way, shape, or form. Azovskaya has no part in this conflict. Good day."
