The Fiagai-class Patrol Vessel is a multi-purpose workhorse for the SDF-Navy: blue-water patrol vessel, escort, counter-boarding ship, general warship and several more in one.

Design
With its two twin dual purpose 76mm guns, one forward, the other one sternwards, it can combat all possible pirate-threats to merchant shipping when they choose to come in close, while the sonar, rails and the hedgehog serves as a measure against the possibility of submarines (in fact, the Fiagai-class was used in the past to shadow foreign submarines illegally entering the waters of the Free Lands) attacking the merchant shipping. The multi-purpose missile launchers, usually armed with SAMs, but capable of being equipped with a wide array of missiles, including anti-ship and surface-to-surface missiles, sweaten up the deal as a limited defense against aircraft. It has systems to deal with incoming missiles and for electronic warfare.
All in all, the Fiagai in its usual SDF-configuration can engage with its guns alone targets from a distance of 30 kilometres after tracking for around 250 kilometres.
With a crew of 37 people, plus 8 as boarding troops, the Fiagai can not take aboard prisoners, although she comes equipped with a small pinnace for operations with these boarding soldiers. All in all, the crew can stay at sea for 14 days as far as supplies go and can travel for 5000 nautical miles at 15 knots, as fast as many freighters.

The Fiagai is basically a swiss army knife, capable of many missions, on which using larger ships like corvettes, frigates, battleships and fleet carriers would simply be too expensive - combined with its low maintenance cost, low manpower cost and relatively low training costs for the simple functions, the Fiagai-class Patrol Vessel is a cheap and easy solution for many problems now and in the future.

History
In 1998, as the SDF-Navy searched for a cheap and effective replacement for the four slightly outdated Rhiannon-class Light Cruisers (launched in Silverport in 1925) for the Blue Water Patrols, many proposals were made.
Light Aircraft Carriers with VTOLs and frigate screens, land based patrol planes, new cruisers, all were considered and all were thrown away, until the Navy decided in 2000 to have a class of small patrol vessels developed by the shipwrights of the Free Lands. The statements of requirements included a maximum crew of 50 soldiers, a landing space for a helicopter, the speed to catch up with any freighter, high range, complete sensor suite and strong armament.
The engineers sat at their tables to build these wavehorses, including at Silverport Dockyards, where the design was named Pattern 186, a group of experts of the SDF-Navy looked over the thirty-six entries in 2002. They order prototypes for five designs, including the Fiagai-class, and sent them on trials.
Being safe and stable at sea, the test crew forgave the Fiagai (at the time named "Future Patrol Vessel FPV-3") the almost complete lack of comfort, and the SDF-Navy decided, on their recommendation, to order a small fleet of these ships in January 2004.
During the following decade, Fiagais were the first line in guarding the shores of the Free Lands, oftentimes shadowing foreign submarines, which entered our Exclusive Economic Zone. In the timeframe from March 23rd, 2004, when FPV-3 was officially commissioned as SDFS Fiagaí, until today, they detected and kept up with seventy-six foreign submarine incursions, most of which are of unknown origin.
But that wasn't their only role: The Fiagai-class Patrol Vessels were very soon adapted into the role of general patrol vessels, also doing the work of a coast guard and, as administrative assistance, customs authorities. They kept (and still keep) the trading routes within their range safe from pirates and criminals.
Some serve as radar pickets for the Air Traffic Control, some regularly participate in regattas as waypoints, one is a testbed for new technologies and two demiliterized vessels serve as long-range tugs for us at Silverport and Laclan.
Their first refit is planned for 2016, they are expected to be paid off by 2061.

Export
As the success of the Fiagai-class Patrol Vessels became apparent, Silverport Dockyards began to export these craft to foreign lands: In 2015, several nations placed large orders for these Patrol Vessels, totalling an additional 95 to be build.

The Type 40 Anti-Ship Missile, or Type 40 AshM for short, is the primary weapon of the SDF-Navy against enemy ships, when a direct battle is needed to be fought. It is a heavy, sea-skimming missile, deploying a pair of wings after launch, capable of being launched from the sea, below the sea, from land and in the air, although the latter two are specialized versions of the same missile.

Flight (Mark I-B, Mark II-B and Mark III-B)
The Flight of the Type 40 Anti-Ship Missile knows three stages: Launch, Cruise and Terminal.
Before launch, the Type 40 AShM sits with its wings folded into the body and passively waiting for computer input, for example with target data, in its launcher, be it a torpedo tube, a VLS-cell, a box launcher or on a weapons pylon on an aircraft. Before launch, the missile needs to be programmed with the direction of the enemy, which can be updated via a shared datalink even in mid-flight.
Upon launch, the missile utilizes a procedure known as hot-launch, firing the engines to achieve lift-off and to leave the launcher, entering the cruise phase a few moments later. During this, the missile is guided by the pre-programmed data, eventual updates included, and flies towards the enemy at Mach 0.8 at a height of 20 to 50 metres above the water surface, taking the longest leg of the journey, making course corrections either with the little flaps of the wings or with the thrust vectoring booster. Due to the construction of the Type 40 with radar-absorbant materials, it is harder to detect then most other missiles of this type, further emphasized by the use of rocket fuel generating less smoke then conventional rocket fuel. The Type 40 is ECM-resistant and has a Radar Warning Receiver, warning the Type 40s onboard computer if the missile is detected and locked on by an enemy radar.
Upon entering terminal stage, either as pre-programmed or upon warning from the Radar Warning Receiver, the Type 40 goes into sea-skimming mode, flying around four to five metres above the water surface and beginning the short sprint at Mach 2.8 or 2.9, depending on the version. Guidance is taken over by the onboard active radar, homing in onto the enemy by own radar guidance. Should the enemy attempt to noise-jam the missile, trying to saturate the radar transceiver with false signals and noise, the Type 40 automatically turns on the passive-homing capability, following the radar signals received to their source. The enemy is most probable to intercept and destroy the Type 40 during this stage, due to the enemy vessel's radar being able to, but not bound to, detect and direct fire against the missile, for example from CIWS, which makes the aforementioned stealth-features even more important for a successful operation of this missile. Should the enemy achieve a hardkill against the missile, destroying it in mid-flight, the missile will explode and send shrapnel towards the enemy with the intent to cause at least minor damage, shredding antennae and crew caught in the path.
When the missile hits its intended target, however, the armour piercing warhead does its work, punching through the enemy vessel's armour and exploding inside the vessel, preferably somewhere, where it causes follow-up explosions. This explosion will leave the enemy vessel either crippled, having to limp back to safer waters, or outright sink it.

Versions
The Type 40 can be mounted on ships of every size, including in launch boxes on FACs and VLS-shafts, as well as submarines. Mark IV, the air-launched variation, is a trimmed and slimmed down version for the usage by aircraft. Mark V, a land-launched version, is in development.
Mark II-B can be equipped with a nuclear warhead with a weight of 450 kg.
Mark T are Training Missiles for handling and operating the Type 40 and are therefore filled less fuel, replacing that with bright yellow paint, 'exploding' once handling mistakes were detected by the electronics or when fullfilling the mission, in essence slamming into the practice target.

History
In the early 2000s, the SDF-Navy began to look for a replacement for the Cláirseoir-AShM, a short-ranged AShM, which was simply wasn't suitable for service anymore as exercises with friendly nations demonstrated time and time again.
Several designs were compared and the Type 40, a design by the Creachadóir Design Bureau was chosen - CDB lacked the production capabilities and SDY was awarded with the contract for the serial production of the Type 40 (we later bought CDB, it became our research facilities in Tipa).
Except on exercises, no Type 40 were fired in combat - until the fateful day in 2012, when a strike-force of the SDF-Navy attempted to enter Marley Bay in Halfblakistan, meeting opposition by naval and air forces. The accompanying FACs returned fire at the enemy ships, using Type 40 Mark III missiles, overwhelming the enemy defenses and hitting multiple ships, sinking one and heavily damaging a destroyer, thus enabling the Selkie-fleet to break off the engagement and retreat.

The Pattern 253 was developed as a relatively compact sized and economic dry bulk carrier for the rising exports of the Free Lands. With a cargo hold volume of 78.800 m³ in six cargo holds and four hydraulic cranes (each with a lifting capacity of up to 30 tons) for self-loading, the Pattern 253 can transport their cargo of up to 63.800 tdw to many ports, including those with limited infrastructure.
It is a freighter with its superstructure sternwards, including the cabines of the crew and the bridge. All necessary facilities are located there. Due to each of the cargo holds having their own hydraulic operated hatch, containers can't be placed on the deck. This, and its overall construction, make it possible for the Pattern 253 to withstand heavy seas more efectively then other models - and with less damage.
Pattern 253 can, but shouldn't be loaded with liquid bulk due to the safety regulations in several countries (including the Free Lands). Most dangerous dry goods can be transported via Pattern 253, though.

All in all, the Pattern 253 is a relatively cheap, but capable and sturdy freighter for dry bulk.

The Aiteal-class Oceanographic Research Vessel is a unique design, originally developed and put into service for a foreign university and their institute of oceanographic research. It is a relatively small, ingenious design.

Design
The Aiteal-class Oceanographic Research Vessel is a so-called Small-waterplane-area twin hull (SWATH for short) vessel. While resembling a catamaran on the surface, the two kinds of ships differ in many aspects, most noteably where the bulk of displacement is located: Beneath the surface, in case of the SWATH-design, which minimizes the mass located near the water-surface, where the most energy of the waves meets the ship. Due to this, the Aiteal-class Oceanographic Research Vessel has a high stability, even in heavy sea.
Like any SWATH-Design, the Aiteal-class provides a stable platform and large decks for a superstructure, for example laboratories or crew quarters.

It took many ideas, much time and a huge amount of sanity to work around the some of the major disadvantages of SWATH-Designs, namely the disadvantages of high maintenance costs and requirements.
Normally, every bit of energy generated by the engines would either be produced in the large submerged hulls below the waterline or above the waterline and then transmitted down via gears and gearboxes, both of which have high maintenance cost and requirements. However, the Aiteal-class Oceanographic Research Vessel has an Integrated Electric Propulsion System, which basically means, that the fuel on board is used to power electric generators, which then transmit the electric power through cables to the engines and the shafts, which then turn the propellers at the end of both submerged hulls, which then move the ship.
It is a considerably less complicated design, cheaper and easier to check and repair in case of problems. The ship gets much quieter and sheds weight, especially due to the fact, that the same engines, that move the ship, also provide the electrical power needed on board anyways, reducing the costs considerably.
To produce the 6,500 kW of energy, the Aiteal-class Oceanographic Research Vessel has three diesel engines, each of them individually being capable of providing both the required power for every base function of the vessel and for bringing it up to its cruise speed of 8 knots.

Equipment
The Aiteal-class Oceanographic Research Vessel is a science ship. Due to its large deck and relatively small permanently fixed superstructure (the bridge and quarters for crew and scientists are fixed on deck, as well as a small crane, while the engine rooms and storage rooms are below deck), containers with laboratory equipment can easily be placed and removed from the deck. These containers should either be of the ISO 20' or 40' standarts.
If wished, we can also build a fixed superstructure on deck without an upcharge, but that would rob the vessel of its high adaptability to many different research situations and missions.

The Aiteal-class Research Vessel also has a small helipad, which can be used to transport a small floatplane as well. There is no enclosed hangar though, so maintenance on them can get a bit complicated.
As for lowering the floatplane into the water and out of it again, the crane is positioned to take care of that.
The plane has to be bought seperately.

The vessels also come equipped with navigation radar, an air surveillance radar specifically developed for tracing birds and similar small objects, sonar and towed array sonar, an internal wireless LAN-network, satellite access for telecommunications and a sickbay equipped for tending to five people. Two dinghies provide a way to land a beach-party on shore an to transport it back to the ship.

History
The Aiteal-class Oceanographic Research Vessel began its life in 2000, as the Office for Yacht Development (today the Department for Prototype Development in Yard 15) asked itself, how they were supposed to make a ship more stable at sea. This was an internal contest, the winner, the later base for the Aiteal-class, being archived and stored under P-4459.

In 2010, a foreign university asked Silverport Dockyards to develop a new research vessel for their use and to make it stable at sea, while also making it easily adaptable. Someone remembered the old P-4459 and got the plans, developing them further in accordance with the orderer's specifications: The Aiteal-class Research Vessel was born.
It was built within one year, it went on its first research cruise in 2012. Since then, it made several discoveries about water temperature and marine beings in the deeper parts of its home nation's waters, where the Aiteal-class is simply known to be one ship by the name of Árkefthos.

Building them also provided us with the opportunity to learn more about SWATH-Designs and their practical application - more designs of this kind are in development.

Uses
As a Oceanographic Research Ship, the vessels of the Aiteal-class are ships dedicated to make scientific discoveries about the sea, the currents and so on, but they can also operate as base for scientific discoveries on dry shore.
Their use as ships for war-purposes is rather limited, though: They can be used as mobile weather-stations and for finding tactical advantages at sea, but in a direct confrontation, their use is next to zero.

The Scoth-class Corvette is a small warship, intended to fill the multi-purpose need between smaller Patrol Vessels and Destroyers. Based on a bid of the SDF-Navy to supplement or even replace the Sciath-class Corvettes and Claíohm-class Frigates, the Scoth-class Corvette will be the middle ground, capable of both defending and attacking - effective at both.

Design
The Scoth-class Corvette is a small, mono-hulll design, 90 metres of length and with 1,600 tons relatively light, giving it a draught shallow enough to operate in littoral waters, while also keeping its capability of operating in Blue Water.
Their speed of 30 knots and their range of 3,000 nautical miles at 16 knots makes them capable of covering a lot of ground on one patrol, capable of conducting anti-submarine patrols, anti-piracy operations and providing anti-air cover for larger ships. They can keep pace with many major surface combattants.
With their Integrated Electric Propulsion system, running on three Diesel generators with an output of 4,000 kilowatts, capable of both providing power for the ships shaft and screw and for every other system onboard plus a bit of surplus, the Scoth-class Corvette has a relatively small engine section - or rather three, because the Diesel generators are spread over the ship, providing enough power for basic system operations even when the whole ship is crippled beyond recognition, because one generator will always be operational.
The design incorporates anti-radar detection features, but isn't undetectable.

The Scoth-class Corvette is equipped with one combines Air/Surface Search Radar, doubling as a navigation and fire control radar, and a Hull-Mounted Sonar. Each of these systems is connected with the weapons and their stations via the Type 900 Datalink, providing information exchange and processing in real-time.
Nuacht N-12 Mark II Air/Surface Search Radar (Multi-Function) is a cheap and easy to operate system, capable of tracking 350 targets at maximum in TWS-Mode, from missiles to passenger planes to small fast attack craft, and to track own fire for adjustments just as easily.

The Type 900 Datalink is a system for Duplex Communication in both directions in real time, processing said data in real time as well. Not only sensors and weapons are connected by this system, but virtually everything onboard the ship, from consoles on the bridge to the mobile coffee maker by the helipad. Personal Computers and gaming devices of the crew use another system, utilizing a satellite uplink and being diconnected from the Datalink in every way, shape and form imagineable.
To exemplify the processing power of the Type 900 Datalink: When the first prototype of the Type 900 was supposed to be tested, the corresponding department in Laclan hosted a LAN-party with roundabout ten thousand participants (4,157 at height) playing 25 different games - with the 'Local Area Network' reaching across the entirety of the Free Lands with no lags whatsoever.
Thanks to its advanced EP-Suite, or Electronic Protection Suite, the Scoth-class can hold off attacks on that front as well. Developed by the University of Laclan, this suite offers protection against all forms of attack against the Datalink System and the Artio Battlescape Network (see below).
The ESM Suite, or Suite for Electronic Support Measures, enables the Scoth-class Corvette to track any electronic attack, detect any locks onto them, intercept enemy transmissions and record them.

Artio Battlespace Network Mark III-C
Another important system for effective operation of the Scoth-class Corvette is the Artio Battlescape Network Mark III-C. Via directed data-transmission, each ship can share data by direct line of sight, around 40 kilometres.
Although this system can be disrupted, albeit with a whole lot of difficulty, no one can listen in. The direct line of sight also requires, that no obstacles are between the transmission stations, which are kept in line by the Type 900. However, this range can be made next to unlimited by hooking up the whole system to a satellite, which can share the data needed without any problems.
Although normal telecommunication satellites can be used for this purpose, Silverport Dockyards Ltd. has made an invitation for bid to a few companies specialized in such things, hoping to be capable of offering a complete system with a specialized satellite by 2018. The Artio can be connected to major Battlescape Network Systems, but we highly recommend reading the manual.

Armament
With its two two-cell anti-ship missile launchers, we recommend loading them with Type 40 AShMs, the Scoth-class Corvette is capable of participating in major fleet engagements. These missiles increase the weapon's range of the ship in anti-ship operations to up to 600 kilometres (Type 40 Mark II) and more.
Another important part of the weapon's suite are the two 4-cell VLS-Systems, vertical launchers for all kinds of missiles, from short-ranged SAMs to Anti-Submarine Rockets to long-range AShMs and cruise missiles. Due to their versatility, they can be practically everything and anything at the same time, adding to the impressive capabilities of the Scoth-class Corvette.
As protection against missiles, both targetted at the ship itself and at other ships nearby, the Scoth-class Corvette has two 30mm CIW-Systems, in this case the Ceantar C-84 Mark I, the last line of defense against incoming missiles with an effective firing range of 4.5 kilometres.

This system only supplements the twin 76mm L50 gun on the foredeck, a Túirín T-12 Mark II, double-barreled and doubling as a large anti-air gun (or anti-missile gun) as well as anti-surface gun. With its maximum firing range of 27.5 kilometres, this system and its fragmentation rounds (amongst other things) pose a serious threat to everything above the surface, be it another ship, on land or flying.
For fighting against things beneath the surface, the Scoth-class carries a Gráinneog G-321 Mark II Hedgehog on the foredeck with a effective firing range of seven to ten kilometres deepending on the ammunition. The system, mounted on a carriage capable of turning sixty degrees to each side (making it capable of covering one third of the ship with anti-submarine fire), fires shells of 35 kilograms of weight, filled with 20 kilograms of high explosives from 15 barrels in a circular pattern, making it hard for the once detected submarine to disappear into the depths of the sea. Utilizing the Hull-Mounted Sonar and the data collected by it via the Type 900 Datalink, the Scoth-class Corvette is capable of attacking even hidden submarines without any prior warning. Combined with the rail for depth charges, the Scoth-class Corvette has an anti-submarine coverage both fore and aft, which enables several Scoth-class Corvettes to effectively hunt for submarines without any square-centimetre of the ocean safe for the enemy.

History
The Scoth-class Corvette is the answer to an invitation of bid by the SDF-Navy. The basic requirement was a vessel capable of filling the gap between patrol vessels and frigates in a multi-purpose need, in order to supplement the more specialized Sciath-class Corvettes and Claíohm-class Frigates. We didn't go for a supplement, but a replacement.
Currently, three vessels are launched and being fitted out in Silverport with two more in trials (doing absolutely fine), while five are being built for the SDF-Navy. Ten more vessels are planned.

The Pattern 256 Tanker is a long range tanker of the Aframax-category, capable of transporting oil or other fluids, including chemicals, typically transporting either crude oil or fuel oil around the world. Due to their relatively small size, especially when compared to so-called supertankers, the Pattern 256 Tanker can enter and leave next to all cargo harbours in the world, making them the ideal choice for transport of fluids.

Design
The Pattern 256 Tanker has both a reinforced double-hull and a special bow to safely transit icy waters, as well as stainless steel tanks to hold the cargo. Especially important for the ship's and the cargo's safety, and the crew's and environment's safety along with it, is the inert gas system, creating an atmosphere inside the tanks, which does not permit any ignition of hydrocarboon vapors of the oil within the tanks.
Cargo can be transferred on and off a tanker by either Marine Loading Arms (or Chiksan) or offshore buoys, but lightering is also possible, either as receiver for a larger tanker's cargo or, although we doubt that this would be necessary, as the sender of cargo.

The environmental impact of a Pattern 256 Tanker is negligible thanks to its filters and the possibility to power the engine, and therefore the ship, with dimethyl ether.
In 2017, the Pattern 256 was used as the basis for the Hope-class Hospital Vessel.

The Faolchu-II-class FAC is the next stage to Silverport Dockyard's answer to missile cruisers and other enemy capital ships: Small, agile, heavily armed with four anti-ship missiles and the capability for self-defense.

Design
The Faolchu-II-class FAC is based on, not very surprisingly, the Faolchu-I-class FAC, a cheap, both in acquisition and upkeep, and reliable FAC, a force to be reckogned with due to several things differing from 'normal' FACs and the Faolchu-class. The greatest difference to the predecessor is the presence of self-defense systems, starting with two multi-purpose missile launchers, the same as the ones used on the Fiagai-class Patrol Vessel, which are usually armed with Surface-to-Air missiles, and ending with a 30mm CIWS on the aft-deck, replacing the rails for mines and depth charges. This CIWS, a Ceantar C-84 Mark I, only has a rather limited supply of ammunition with it, namely 2000 rounds on the turret itself.
Another great difference to the Faolchu-I-class is the new twin-turret, Túirín T-12 Mark II, capable of lobbing 76mm shells over distance of 27.5 kilometres with an ammo-supply of 60 rounds per barrel in the turret. The radar was upgraded as well to have a detection range of 300 kilometres. This combined surface and air-search radar can detect targets from a huge distance and feed a firing solution to the missile launchers via a small datalink system.
Combined with the reduced radar (including radar-absorbing paint) and infra-red signature of the Faolchu-II, these FACs are hard to detect, but it's not impossible for they aren't dedicated stealth-ships. With the Type 40 Anti-Ship Missile (or any other long-range ASM, but we recommend the Type 40), these small craft can stop enemy fleets from far away without the need to have own, gigantic battlefleets.

History
The SDF is well aware, that, if someone really wants to invade the Free Lands, there won't be many things they can do to stop them. They can make his life a living hell, though.
This was and is one of the basic thoughts behind the large amount of Fast Attack Craft and Gunboats of the SDF-Navy. Due to harrassment, constant attacks and being on edge 24-7, the enemy should be worn down while still at sea and his supply routes damaged beyond recognition after that. The enemy is not supposed to feel safe within a radius of 5,000 kilometres around even the remotest pier, not even when considering, that he is in a warzone.
Attrition will be his end.

With these bleak thoughts in mind, the Faolchu-class FAC was developed in the late 1980s, entering production in the 2000s after delays of the Type 40 AShM, conducting missions in its intended role without problems or hassle, expect one: The lack of defenses made the Faolchu-I-class ideal glass canons, packing more then just a punch, but also suffering from the complete lack of defensive systems.
This needed to get a remedy, taking shape and form of the Faolchu-II-class FAC: Small, heavily armed, capable of limited self-defense, a force to be recogned with. This enables the Faolchu-II-class FAC to serve as an escort vessel or patrol boat just as well. The SDF-Navy ordered the first batch in 2013, the first craft were delivered in 2014 and commissioned in May 2015.

The Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler is the result of a request for the development of a "medium-sized Fleet Oiler" by the Radiomatics Moorburgh Defense Force. Although its primary function is the one of a Fleet Oiler, the Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler can also be used as a flagship to lead smaller units (for example FACs or submarine hunters) or to coordinate CIMIC-efforts on shores (for example desaster relief efforts).

Design
The Port Hackburry class Fleet Oiler is a classical monohull-design, reminiscent of a freighter, but with more purpose then to simply move stuff from A to B.
As a Fleet Oiler, vessels of the Port Hackburry-class are equipped to transport needed supplies for a fleet, like food, ammunition and fuel, and to relocate these supplies to other ships while still at sea (given that the sea isn't too strong).

The Port Hachburry-class Fleet Oiler is capable of transporting 2,700 tons of gasoline and fuels in ten parcels, each rated for 270 tons of ship-diesel. Two rows of five parcels are aligned along the keel, pumps and computer systems programmed to simultanously pump from the corresponding parcels in order not to destabilize the Fleet Oiler. These parcels are also capable of transporting other fluids, like aviation fuel. Although fresh water can be transported in these parcels, we don't recommend it due to residuals of the fuels and the dangers due to that.
Freshwater can not only be transported (two parcels for 50 tons of water), but also can be produced aboard, recycling old water and drawing water from the sea to produce fresh water.
In the cargo bays, 400 tons of other materials can be hold, including space for four 20' Standart Containers on the oiler's deck itself. The cargo holds themselves are capable of holding ammunition and weapons in accordance with all international regulations and standarts. Two cargo bays are equipped to load frozen food, cooling systems included.
To load and unload this freight and to transfer it to other ships, the Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler is equipped with a total of five cranes, four rated for 15 tons each, one rated for 50 tons, plus a hoist rated for 5 tons. Both hoist and heavy crane are aligned with the keel, while the smaller cranes are at the sides of the Fleet Oiler, capable of extending the hoses for the transfer of fluids to other ships capable of crossing over a gap of ten metres (the hoses can be extended further, up to twenty metres).

The Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler can house and operate a fully equipped and functional staff and has a small hospital on board (including two operating theatres).

Sensors and Processing Systems
The is equipped with a single Air/Surface Search Radar, doubling as a navigational radar. It mostly serves for purposes of self-defense and coordination with incoming helicopters. They also provide valuable traffic information and information about eventually incoming missiles and aircraft for independent defensive actions.
However, while they do have the capacity for self defense, it is strongly advised to always have them under escort.

Artio Battlespace Network Mark III-C

The Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler is equipped with weapons for defensive purposes.
The three main deck armories can be stocked up with 5 MANPAD-Systems each, along with enough weapons to fully equip two fireteams worth of soldiers in case of an emergency. The chambers are locked via retina scanners and can be programmed by accessing the onboard Type 900 Datalink.
Most powerful weapon of the Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler is the Ceantar C-44 Mark III 40mm Dual Purpose Gun, is both for air defense and for defense against small watercraft. The gun and their turrets are designed to be controlled by external fire control systems, it can also use its own fire control systems, and is linked to these via Type 900 Datalink, which provides the target data needed to adjust the gun at its target. While it is a fully automatic system, the gun can be controlled manually by an external operator using the mounted camera as his 'scope'. He (or she) would then release a 40mm shell onto his target by the tap of a button. The C-44 can be used as a weapon against missiles as well, but does not perform as well against these.
The SDY-Gabha SG-1 Mark III 30mm autocannons have their grand debut onboard the Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler. The revolver cannon, used as a weapon against unarmoured or lightly armoured naval targets, any kind of air target or even for shore bombardement, is a whole package: Fire control via infrared and optical camera, useable both automated and manually, caseless ammunition for more bullet per round. One more advantage of the SDY-Gabha SG-1 Mark III is, that ships can easilly be reequipped with the system, since a break through the deck isn't necessary to install the weapon, just to bolt it onto the deck and to supply it with power. However, although its primary function is that of a point defense weapon, the SDY-Gabha SG-1 Mark III can not replace a dedicated CIWS and is merely a stopgap.

History
The Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler began its life as a highly ambitious project of around the same carrying capacity, but half as long and a lot lighter, proposed and send to be developed by the Radiomatics Moorburgh Defense Force. While it wouldn't have been impossible to built and construct such a vessel, the engineers of Silverport Dockyards were more then hesitant to build such a vessel, since it broke more security regulations then they were comfortable with.
So, going to the orderer with these issues, the engineers prepared to get a new design to their costumer, which later turned into the Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler, named after an important port in Radiomatics Moorburgh.
With four of these vessels being built for the Radiomatics Moorburgh Defense Force, and the SDF-Navy already announcing their potential interest, the Port Hackburry-class Fleet Oiler is now available for export.
Silverport Dockyards Ltd. is currently planning a few variants for the Fleet Oiler, including a variant, which is a fully fledged support and workshop ship without staff-capabilities, and another, which is a ground troop support ship/amphibious landing support ship.

The Waari-class Minesweeper, named after a musician, is a small and very important vessel, one of the newest and most modern of its kind in the world.
As a minesweeper, it is constructed to search for and to clear naval mines left behind by conflict, which are a huge threat to any kind of shipping in the world. The Waari-class Minesweeper can fulfill additional roles such as acting as an auxillary minelayer and general patrol vessel.
The Waari-class is also equipped to carry and operate two mine-hunting ROVs, which clear mines the simple, but loud way, while the room for clearance divers will provide more silent means to clean mines.

Design
As a minesweeper, the Waari-class Minesweeper is built using non-magnetic materials and only using magnetic materials where absolutely essential, which is not enough to spring any mine neat the sweeper.
Due to its sleek hull-design, the Waari-class is capable of cutting through the waves like a hot knife through butter, making it reach 24 knots as a maximum speed on our trials. However, while we tried to make the radar crosssection as little as possible, the vessel is far from being a stealth vessel.
For this purpose, it is armed.

The main armament of the Waari-class Minesweeper is the Ceantar C-44 Mark II 40mm Dual Purpose Gun, capable of attacking both land/surface and air targets with utmost precision and a maximum firing range of 15 kilometres. It can be used to defend against missiles, but we would recommend not to do that.
For the more dedicated defense against air-targets, like against helicopters, the Waari-class Minesweeper has three storage rooms filled with five MANPAD-Systems each (and room to spare), which provides the crew with enough firepower to deal with any such threat.
The Waari-class minesweeper can also carry twelve naval mines or depth charges.
Due to its sensor suite of a standard Air/Surface Search Radar with integrated navigation radar and a hull-mounted mine-hunting sonar, the Waari-class Minesweeper can detect and act against next to any target. Although optimized to be used against naval mines, the sonar can also detect submarines, but is far less effective at it as a dedicated submarine-search sonar.

As engines, the Waari-class Minesweeper utilizes a system known as 'Integrated Electric Propulsion' or IEP for short. It basically means, that the fuel on board is used to power electric generators, which then transmit the electric power through cables to the engines and the two shafts, which then turn the propellers to make the ship move, which then move the ship.
It is a considerably less complicated design, cheaper and easier to check and repair in case of problems. The minesweeper gets quieter and sheds weight, especially due to the fact, that the same engines, that move the ship, also provide the electrical power needed on board anyways, reducing the costs considerably.

History
The Waari-class Minesweeper was a new design for a minesweeper, mainly due to the materials and construction of the hulls as well as the mine-clearing ROVs (which were a side-branch of the Stalcaire-class Unmanned Surface Vessel Programme). Shortly after the design was unveiled, a number of orders had been placed, amongst them by the SDF-Navy and the Water Polices of the Free Lands.
The Water Polices, using them mostly as patrol craft, replacing the ROVs with RHIBs and the mine clearance divers with policemen, both for inspecting suspicious vessels. In this function, the Waari-class Minesweepers of the Water Polices, Leuda's Aingeal and Silverport's Binn, participated in the Anti-Piracy Operations off Frozopia in 2018.

The Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier is one of the largest warships ever built in Silverport. While it has a sizeable weapons suite, the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier primary function is to be seen as a carrier for aircraft and amphibious forces, most of its armament intended to deal with any incoming threats.

Design
The Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier is a classical monohull design, 201.1 metres in total length. It's draught of 14.1 metres enables these ships to make landfall in almost every harbour in the world. With a beam of 25.3 metres, it is a relatively wide ship.
With the main flight deck aft and a smaller one on the foredeck, the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier can have five medium sized helicopters or VTOLs ready at all times, connected by the enclosed readyness hangar with four more spots with helicopters ready to be deployed. The lift in this readyness hangar is rated for twenty tons. Beneath this is the main hangar, where repairs and other essential functions happen, below which is the smaller reserve hangar, where more complicated repairs tend to happen or which can be used for storage and other purposes. With this, the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier has two hangars.
The ship can carry up to 15 medium sized helicopters or equivalents, when the reserve hangar is used to store things (if it wouldn't be, the number would rise to 20).
Main housing of the crew and the embarked soldiers is below the main hangar, deep in the bowels of the Helicopter Carrier, as is the 300 bed main hospital, including five operating theatres, with a smaller emergency room being part of the superstructure, taking the load of medical care and intensive care off of the landing troops and their beachheads.
The Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier features a small well deck for 'classical' amphibious operations, but it is not a dedicated amphibious warfare ship. The well deck is measured 52.6 x 10.1 metres and can house a few amphibious vehicles or landing craft, from mechanized landing craft to amphibious tanks, for example one Pattern 502 Landing Craft and eleven amphibious assault vehicles.

While the ship was designed with a reduced radar-crosssection, making it harder to detect, it is due to sheer size and bulk far from undetectable.

Electronic Warfare
The Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier is equipped with full suites for Electronic Countermeasures (ECM), Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and Electronic Protection (EP).
Electronic Countermeasures, or ECM for short, are used to deceive and trick enemy means of detection and ultimately not having a guided missile slam into the vessel's side. Be they sonar decoys or radar jammers (Rasberry Jammers is the system we usually use), active ECM measures confuse the enemy's sensors, while passive measures include for example the jamming of the guidance systems of enemy missiles.
Electronic Support Measures meanwhile detect, intercept, identify, locate, record and analyze sources of radiated electromagnetic energy (for example radar) for threat recognition and other purposes, amongst them intelligence information. With these information, a commander can make the tactical and, if necessary, strategic decisions needed. It also provides the means necessary to gather information about the Electronic Warfare Systems of the enemy either in order to avoid an attack or to attack more effectively.
With Electronic Protection (EP), or Electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM), the ship is hardened against every kind of electronic attack, for example against scrambling and jamming. This allows to attack the enemy even when he feels safe with his jammers in place and activated.

The Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier comes equipped with a multitude of sensor and detection systems, amongst them sonar, one hull mounted beneath the bow, two as towed arrays.
However, the core of the Helicopter Carrier's sensor systems are its radars, two combined Air/Surface Search Radars, capable of tracking a target 450 kilometres away and of tracking 400 targets at the same time, be they on the surface, in the air or anywhere inbetween. These radars also double as air-traffic control radars.
This capability of course makes it possible for the weapons to begin working on removing any harmful target from the air or the surface or to coordinate the own fire with the aircraft and other ships in posession of a Type 900 Datalink and an Artio Battlescape Network or any other Battlescape Network System compatible with the Artio in real time.
Two Nuacht N-38 Fire Control Radars keep track of the own ammunition and make, if needed, adjustments to the aim. While the Ceantar C-84 Mark II 30mm CIWS aims and tracks with its own little radar, the larger Ceantar C-44 Mark II 40mm guns are not so autonomous, as are most of the other weapon systems of the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier.
The N-4 Navigation Radar's function is to provide the navigation data necessary to steer the ship correctly and, when coupled with a knowledgeable officer, can be used for weather prediction as well.

Decoys
In order to defend itself against threats without the need for usiing up ammunition, the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier is equipped with a multitude of defensive systems, namely a Multi-Ammunition Softkill System or MASS and two chaff-launchers, as well as two torpedo decoy launchers.
The MASS is connected to the sensor systems, mainly radar, and uses the data to launch radar decoys operating on all relevant wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, confusing advanced, sensor-guided missiles. It can either be operated by a person or operate autonomously.
For the less advnced radar-guided missiles, the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier is equipped with two chaff launchers, sending out far more primitive raadar decoys, which will not only confuse the missile's radar, but also the enemy's radar as well.
To counter torpedoes, especially those of the acoustic-homing variety, the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier has torpedo decoy launchers, which send out something, which makes a lot of noise, which, in return, directs the torpedo into the decoy and not into the ship.

Artio Battlescape Network Mark III-C
Another important system for effective operation of the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier is the Artio Battlescape Network Mark III-C. Via directed data-transmission, each ship can share data by direct line of sight, around 42 kilometres.
Although this system can be disrupted, albeit with a whole lot of difficulty, no one can listen in. The direct line of sight also requires, that no obstacles are between the transmission stations, which are kept in line by the Type 900. However, this range can be made next to unlimited by hooking up the whole system to a satellite, which can share the data needed without any problems.
Although normal telecommunication satellites can be used for this purpose, Silverport Dockyards Ltd. has made an invitation for bid to a few companies specialized in such things, hoping to be capable of offering a complete system with a specialized satellite by 2018. The Artio can be connected to major Battlescape Network Systems, but we highly recommend reading the manual.

The Sealgaire-class' weapon systems are mostly defensive systems, organized in four layers:
    1st layer: Four Ceantar C-44 Mark II 40mm AA Guns for interception of incoming aircraft, missiles (to a certain extend) and small watercraft, two Feadán Fe-3 Mark I triple Surface-to-Air Missile launchers for incoming aircraft.
      The 1st layer is the one with the highest range, capable of taking out any airborne threat against the ship.
      The Feadán Fe-3 Mark I fires Surface-to-Air missiles, conventional active radar homing missiles with a proximity fuse (adjustable prior to launch) for a fragmentation warhead, which releases 200 bits of shrapnel, small and high speed pieces of tungsten, unto the enemy - one of these isn't a great threat, but the combination of hundreds of bits destroys any aircraft hit and damages those, who think they can escape via countermeasures.
      The other part of the 1st layer, the four Ceantar C-44 Mark II 40mm AA Guns, are both for air defense and for defense against small watercraft. The guns and their turrets are designed to be controlled by external fire control systems, like for example the Nuacht N-38 Fire Control Radar, and linked to these via Type 900 Datalink, which provides the target data needed to adjust the gun at its target. While it is a fully automatic system, the gun can be controlled manually by an external operator using the mounted camera as his 'scope'. He (or she) would then release a 40mm shell onto his target by the tap of a button. The C-44 can be used as a weapon against missiles as well, but does not perform as well against these as for example the 2nd layer.
    2nd layer: Two Ceantar C-84 Mark II 30mm CIWS and two Ceantar C-78 Mark II 23-cell RAMs for incoming missiles.
      Primary short range missile defense is housed in the 2nd layer, housing both the CIWS and the RAMs of the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier. The Ceantar C-84 Mark II is the sifrst system of this layer, a semi-autonomous missile defense system spewing 30mm shells at any incomiing missile or any aircraft coming too close for it's own comfort. The Ceantar C-78 Mark II is a Rolling Airframe Missile System, basically responsible for the same thing, but longer ranged and with more power behind the shot, capable of destroying most incoming Anti-Ship Missiles in one shot. This system is controlled and aimed by the onboard computers, using data from the larger radars.
    3rd layer: Two Gráinneog G-321 Mark II Hedgehogs for submarines.
      Defensing against submarines is one of the most challenging things a ship can do - but once detected and within range of the G-321 Mark II Hedgehog, there is no escape for the submarine, especially not with the new Tormán Mark I shells: The hedgehog still rocket launches fifteen small shells into the general direction of the enemy submarine, but each and every of these shells now carries a small torpedo, an passive acoustic homing little weapon optimized for attacking submarines, penetrating their pressure hull quite effectively with 20 kilograms of high explosives. One will only cause problems for sure - two or more are a bit more difficult to handle.
    4th layer: Four Feadán Fe-12 Mark I 8-cell Vertical Launch System.
      Vertical launch systems always had one advantage: Stuff a missile into them, fire them, watch the enemy go down. The Feadán Fe-12 is no different. Next to any missile fitting into the cell, be it single packed, double, triple or even quad packed can be launched from these cells (please refer to the manual for a list of not working missiles). These cells can be loaded with additional defensive missiles, increasing the amount of firepower used to defend itself - or they can be packed with offensive missiles, like the Type 40 AshM, adding firepower to the offensive capabilities of your fleet. It's entirely up to you.

Most of the armament is placed on the superstructure, excluding the two of the four 40mm AA-guns, which are placed at the stern in order to provide cover for landing helicopters. This gives most of the weapons an ideal firing arc, while the rest, the VLS-shafts mainly, don't need firing arcs.
To top the armament off, the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier has two rails for depth charges or mines, although the latter is the far more useful application. They are placed above the well deck.

The Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier is capable of loading up to 15 helicopters of medium size, like the domestic Fuisce Utility Helicopter (these are not for sale, but the measurements are included so you have a rough measurement for what we call a "medium-sized helicopter"). VTOLs and similar vehicles, including the variety with vectored thrust, can be operated from their flight deck as well.
With the aft flight deck and its four landing spots for said medium helicopters on that deck, the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier can provide air cover against submarines, for ground troops and transportation for those, as well as many more roles. As a dedicated helicopter carrier, it has a lot of advantages, which fixed-wing aircraft carriers do not have, amongst them extreme versatility: Next to every kind of helicopter or VTOL can operate from them, past and present and future (unless they don't fit into the enclosed hangar, which is six metres high), which enables the Sealgaire-class Helicopter carrier to adapt for different types of missions far easier then a classic aircraft carrier.

History
After the desastrous results in the first naval engagement of the Halfblakistani Expedition, the SDF-Navy realized, if they were going to need a ship capable of projecting naval air power. Since a classic aircraft carrier was out of question due to budget constraints, the SDF-Navy much rather opted for a helicopter carrier, smaller, but quite capable as well. An invitation to bid was sent out by the SDF to search for a candidate and soon they got a reply from SDY, presenting them with a pre-design for what later became the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier.
As time progressed, the design became ready to be built - and that was, what happened after the SDF approved the design.
Currently, the SDF-Navy has two of these vessels, named Sealgaire and Maor, with the acquisition of a third vessel, Cosantóir, up for discussion.

The Glorium-class Command Ship is the result of a request for the development of a battleship and flagship by the Navy of the Republic of Corilan. The Glorium-class' main usage is that of a command and control ship, leading other units, bigger and smaller, in battle, not fighting by itself.

Design
The Glorium-class is a revolutionary new design, a trimaran of by now next to unreached size.
Due to the multihull-design came a lot of new challenges and terminology, mainly three terms: Vaka, the main hull, Ama, the outrigger, and Aka, the connection between Vaka and Ama.
It should be noted, that this is the first trimaran of this size constructed by SDY.
The superstructure, with all command facilities, sensors and the majority of the armament, spans the entirety of the beam, meaning along all of the Vaka, the Aka and the Ama, creating one steady procession of hull, which helps in stealth measures. Stairwells, the anchorhouse and other such things are placed inside.
A large flat flight deck is mounted at the aft of the Vaka, providing landing space for onboard helicopters, one at a time, with the hangar directly in front of them. The flight deck is rated to handle VTOLs of the vectored-thrust variety, those with dual-ducted air fans and helicopters. The adjacent hangar can handle up to six medium-sized helicopters or equivalent.
The superstructure houses, besides the bridge, the command centre for the admiral destined to lead from the decks of this command ship, equipped with the highest high tech in regards of communications and command and control installations. Entire fleets or invading armies can be led from the command centre of a Glorium-class Command Cruiser.

Propulsion
The Glorium-class Command Ship is powered by a nuclear reactor producing energy for both the ships systems and the engines, which have an output of 140,000 shaft horse power, capable of speeding the vessel up to 36 knots maximum speed. Due to the nuclear reactors, the range is only limited by the supplies being carried, which, with full crew, admiral staff and marines aboard (1,800 men in total), suffice for three weeks.
We therefore recommend to have supply ships nearby (see packages).

Stealth
Due to the inclined flanks, few vertical lines and very clean lines in general it achieves a radar crosssection compareable to a far smaller ship. Detection can not be avoided with a ship of that size, so we made it as hard as possible to determine the size and firepower of the Glorium-class Command Ship. To that end, we also used radar absorbing synthetic materials for building the superstructure.
For additional stealth, the Glorium-class Command Ships is equipped with radar jammers, which will be explained in depth below.
Although radar is one of the most common ways of detecting surface combattants, it isn't by far the only way. The thermal signature is reduced by funneling the exhaust gases of the engines through a series of small pipes instead of one large stack, exiting the ship at a lower temperature.
Speaking of the engines, this major provider of an acoustic signature, despite being nuclear (the nuclear reactor's generators, mainly), is silenced by being settled on noise absorbers, mainly vibration absorbers.

Decoys
Of course, being stealthy is nice and dandy, but sometimes, the Glorium-class Command Ship will be detected. There are three kinds of defenses against that: Decoys, defensive armament and electronic warfare.
Firstly, the Multi-Ammunition Softkill System, MASS for short, is connected to the radar and uses the data to launch radar decoys operating on all relevant wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, confusing advanced, sensor-guided missiles. It can either be operated by a sailor or operate autonomously.
Three Chaff-launchers launch chaffs, hot decoys for heat-seeking missiles, when necessary. They, too, are either operated by a person or by a computer and will distract most heat-seeking missiles, making them hit a 'target' safely away and overhead.
The decoy suite is completed by three torpedo decoy launchers, simple acoustic decoys used to lure acoustic homing torpodoes away from the targetted ship - in that sense, these decoys can also be used to defend other ships in the battlegroup around the Glorium-class Command Ship.

One of the most remarkable things about the Glorium-class Command Ship is the complete lack of any offensive gun armament. Instead, all offensive firepower can be fired from the two hundred and fifty Feadán Fe-10 Mark IV VLS-shafts, basically singled out cells of the Feadán Fe-12 Mark I 8-cell VLS, like the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier carries it.
Reason for that and not using 32 Fe-12 VLSs, is the grouping of the VLSs on the Glorium-class Command Ship's VLSs: Not as one large grouped battery, ten times 25 shafts on one deck right besides each other, but as four, two groups with fifty cells and two of seventy-five. The larger groups flank the helicopter landing pad, three rows of twentyfive cells on either side, while the two smaller groups sit on the foredeck.
Basically every missile fitting into the shaft can fired from the cells, some can even be double or quad-packed into the cell. We do, however, recommend reading the manuals before blindly stuffing missiles into the shafts.
The rest of the armament of the Glorium-class Command Ship is purely defensive in nature:
    The Ceantar C-84 Mark II CIWSs, two along each broadside and one on the foredeck, as well as the Ceantar C-78 Mark II RAMs, are the short range missile defense systems. While the C-84 has a high rate of fire with large 30mm shells spewed at every incoming aircraft or missile is the last resort, the C-78 has a longer range and, thanks to the small missiles fired by it, can destroy most incoming missiles with one shot. Both systems use data provided by the radars of the Glorium-class Command Ship and is aimed by onboard-computers. It is fully automized.
    The first lines of defense however are six Ceantar C-44 Mark II 40mm AA-guns, three along each broadside, and four Feadán Fe-3 Mark I triple SAM-launchers. The first system is a multi-purpose system, used against aircraft, missiles (to some extend), incoming watercraft and other such threats. It is automated, but can be both remote controlled or controlled directly at the turret, using the data from the fire-control radars to aim and fire. The Fe-3 on the other hand is a system dedicated to be used against aircraft, firing Surface-to-Air Missiles with proximity fuses and fragmentation warheads, blowing up the missile to become 200 bits of high-velocity small tungsten pieces, shredding through any combat aircraft once the proximity fuse triggers.

Electronic Warfare
The Glorium-class Command Ship is equipped with full suites for Electronic Countermeasures (ECM), Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and Electronic Protection (EP).
Electronic Countermeasures, or ECM for short, are used to deceive and trick enemy means of detection and ultimately not having a guided missile slam into the ship's side. Be they sonar decoys or radar jammers (Rasberry Jammers is the system we usually use), active ECM measures confuse the enemy's sensors, while passive measures include for example the jamming of the guidance systems of enemy missiles.
Electronic Support Measures meanwhile detect, intercept, identify, locate, record and analyze sources of radiated electromagnetic energy (for example radar) for threat recognition and other purposes, amongst them intelligence information. With these information, a commander can make the tactical and, if necessary, strategic decisions needed. It also provides the means necessary to gather information about the Electronic Warfare Systems of the enemy either in order to avoid an attack or to attack more effectively.
With Electronic Protection (EP), or Electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM), the ship is hardened against every kind of electronic attack, for example against scrambling and jamming. This allows to attack the enemy even when he feels safe with his jammers in place and activated.

The Glorium-class Command Ship comes equipped with a multitude of sensors for the detection of and combat against the enemy.
Chiefly among them is the radar suite, with the Nuacht N-13 Mark III Air/Surface Search Radars leading the way. This combined radar, with an air-surveillance and a surface search radar rolled into one, was originally developed for the use on far smaller ships, but quickly prooved to be just as effective on larger ships as it was on smaller ones.
The other major radar systems of the Glorium-class Command Ship are the three Nuacht N-38 Fire Control Radars, developed and optimized for the fight against incoming missiles and aircraft, using the data gathered by the radar to coordinate and adjust the defensive firepower of the CIWSs, the RAMs and the SAMs.
In order to fight against subsurface-threats, the Glorium-class Command Ship is equipped with a Hull-mounted Sonar by the bow, not only allowing for submarines to be detected, but also other threats like underwater cliffs.

The Type 900 Datalink is a system for Duplex Communication in both directions in real time, processing said data in real time as well. Not only sensors and weapons are connected by this system, but virtually everything onboard the ship, from consoles on the bridge to the mobile coffee maker by the helipad. Personal Computers and gaming devices of the crew use another system, utilizing a satellite uplink and being disconnected from the Datalink in every way, shape and form imagineable.
To exemplify the processing power of the Type 900 Datalink: When the first prototype of the Type 900 was supposed to be tested, the corresponding department in Laclan hosted a LAN-party with roundabout ten thousand participants (4,157 at height) playing 25 different games - with the 'Local Area Network' reaching across the entirety of the Free Lands with no lags whatsoever.

Artio Battlespace Network Mark III-D
Another important system aboard the Glorium-class Command Ship is the Artio Battlescape Network Mark III-D. Via directed data-transmission, each ship can share data by direct line of sight, around 45 kilometres due to the transmitters being placed on a specialized mast.
Although this system can be disrupted, albeit with a whole lot of difficulty, no one can listen in. The direct line of sight also requires, that no obstacles are between the transmission stations, which are kept in line by the Type 900. However, this range can be made next to unlimited by hooking up the whole system to a satellite, which can share the data needed without any problems.
Although normal telecommunication satellites can be used for this purpose, Silverport Dockyards Ltd. has made an invitation for bid to a few companies specialized in such things, hoping to be capable of offering a complete system with a specialized satellite by 2018. The Artio can be connected to major Battlescape Network Systems, but we highly recommend reading the manual.

History
The Glorium-class Command Ship is the result of a request for prototype-development by the Navy of Corilan, first known as the XYZ-class Command Ship, signifying a, by then, unnamed ship. The Navy of Corillan decided to name these ships Glorium-class.

The Winternitz-class Corvette is SDY's answer to a request for prototype development by the Zion Imperial Navy. Their main usage will be as maritime patrol and fleet protection vessels, keeping the peace up in the waters around the world.

Design
The Winternitz-class Corvette is a classical monohull-design, 134 metres long, nearly 17 wide and capable of entering next to every harbour in the world thanks to the draught of a little more then four and a half metres. It is capable of operating in Blue and Brown Waters, on high seas and in littoral waters.
With a range of 4,500 nautical miles (or 8,300 kilometres) at 16 knots (30 km/h), the Winternitz-class Corvette can cover a lot of ground and keep pace with many vessels thanks to a top-speed of 30 knots. Due to this, the Winternitz-class Corvette can be used for patrols, escorts and hunting of enemy submarines and small watercraft.

While the ship was designed with a reduced radar-crosssection, making it harder to detect, but it is in no way a dedicated stealth-ship.

Propulsion
The Winternitz-class Corvette utilizes an Integrated Electric Propulsion (IEP) system built on three 150 Kilowatt Diesel Generators, which power not only the systems of the Corvette itself, but also the engines driving the two shafts, which drive the ship forwards with their propellers. These propellers are, what makes the vessel more manuvreable and economic in energy consumption of the propellers thanks to them being capable of adjusting the pitch of the propellers to the situation.
The IEP system saves space, maintenance cost, weight and is far easier to maintain then more complicated systems.

Decoys
The Winternitz-class Corvette is equipped with an extensive decoy suite, consisting of a Multi-Ammunition Softkill System, a chaff launcher and a launcher for Torpedo Decoys.
The MASS is connected to the sensor systems, mainly radar, and uses the gathered data to launch radar decoys operating on the relevant wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum in order to confuse advanced, radar-guided missiles. It can either be operated by a person or operate autonomously in connection with the Type 900 Datalink.
For the less advnced radar-guided missiles, the Winternitz-class Corvette is equipped with a chaff launcher, sending out far more primitive radar decoys, which will not only confuse the missile's radar, but also the enemy's radar as well.
To counter torpedoes, especially acoustic-homing, the Winternitz-class Corvette has a torpedo decoy launcher, sending out something, which makes a lot of noise, which, in return, directs the torpedo into the decoy and not into the ship.

As the Winternitz-class Corvette is mostly intended to be used as a patrol and fleet protection vessel, the armament mostly focusses on this aspect: Defense.
One exception are the Feadán Fe-12 Mark I 8-cell VLS-systems: As VLS, their main advantage is their versatility, meaning, that they can be stuffed with any missile fitting into the shaft (or nearly any, please refer to the manuals for a list of those not working), which means, that you can have anything in there, from air-defense missiles over ASROCs to cruise missiles and AShMs. This versatility is reflected by the Winternitz-class Corvette, as its main role is a patrol and fleet protection vessel - but not its only role.
The other exception are the Túirín T-12 Mark II, the double barrelled 76mm guns: While they can be, and were, used as auxillary self-defense weaponry, the SDF-Navy did so during the Halfblakistani Expedition, their primary role is to lob shells at the enemy, either at shore installations, at light enemy ships like FACs or raiders or at freighters as a 76mm shell is still cheaper as a AShM.
Defending against submarines is one of the most challenging things a ship can do - but once detected and within range of the G-321 Mark II Hedgehog, there is no escape for the submarine, especially not with the Tormán Mark I shells: The hedgehog still rocket launches fifteen small shells into the general direction of the enemy submarine, but each and every of these shells now carries a small torpedo, an passive acoustic homing little weapon optimized for attacking submarines, penetrating their pressure hull quite effectively with 20 kilograms of high explosives. One will only cause problems for sure - two or more are a bit more difficult to handle.
The last line of air defense of the Winternitz-class Corvette are the three 30mm CIWS, one on each broadside and one above the foredeck, right below the bridge. It flings 30mm shells at any enemy missile and aircraft comining too close for the own comfort, is equipped with its own targetting radar and can be turned to automatic action.
For additional firesupport against small boats, like pirate raiders, there are six dedicated positions with mounts and cover-plates rated up to STANAG 4569 Level 2, three along each broadside, for heavy and medium machine guns. Alternatively, these positions can be equipped with SDY-Gabha SG-1 Mark III 30mm autocannons as additional CIWS and self-defense weapons (although that is entirely optional).

The Winternitz-class Corvette began its life as many designs by SDY: Bored engineers making bets throwing stuff at walls to see what stuck. After that, the ideas were shelved to be used once someone remembered it.
There it slumbered for a few years, before someone went into the archives during the engineering works of the Winternitz-class Corvette, as they would later be called. Going back to a request for prototype development by the Imperial Navy of the Zion Imperium, the Winternitz-class Corvette would go through several iterations before it would be released.

The SDY-Sciathan 18 Stuama Mark II is a light multirole fighter of Selkie-Design to be used as a carrier aircraft and ground-based aircraft, capable of acting as a fighter, bomber, fighterbomber, reconnaissance and patrol plane.
Due to its high maneuvreability, the Stuama was also the aircraft of the SDF Army and Navy Air Service Flight Demonstration Team, the Lincse.

History
The venerable Gaoth Fighterbomber is for quite some time now well and truly outdated, the fleet in service with the SDF looking more like a vintage carpark then an air force (or rather Army Air Service and Naval Aviation Command as the case was).
With these bleak thoughts in mind, the SDF began to search for a replacement, making a bid to all available companies for a light multirole fighter. One of the answers was the SDY-Sciathan 18 Stuama Mark I, making its first flight in 2014.
Mark II is the imporved version, the production model, making its first flight 2015. Serial production began in 2016, with Stuamas being supplied to both the SDF-Army and the SDF-Navy, as well as export customers.
The first update, not an upgade or an entirely new variant, is planned to be introduced in 2018, the Stuama Mark II-B, which will feature IRST, a system for infra-red search and track, and an enhanced radar warning receiver, enhancing the own capabilities in detection and knowing, when being detected. This will also include a software-upgrade.

Design
The Stuama Mark II is a twin-engine, light multirole aircraft weighing 6.6 tons when empty. It is 15.4 metres long, has a wingspan of 9 metres and a height of 4.42 metres. It is equipped with modern air-search and fire control radars, as well as a downscaled battlescape network system permitting to send and receive data from other aircraft, ships, land units and even satellites (we tested it) without the need for a node in the network (although a node would increase the performance, we tested that as well).
The Stuama is equipped with two dispensers, one for flares as a countermeasure against heat-seeking missiles, the other for chaff against radar-guided missiles, making softkills against incoming missiles possible. As for Electronic Countermeasures, during operations, the SDF usually uses the under-fuselage hardpoint to mount an ECM-Pod, providing the Stuama with the capability to conduct operations in Electronic Warfare.

Airframe
The airframe is a sleek, light and reinforced titanium-alloy construction with delta wings and smaller, canard wings for increased maneuvreability, reduced mainwing load and better control of the airflow. The two smaller empennages at the V-shaped tail increase the maneuvreability even further, resulting a small, powerful and highly mobile aircraft.
The aircraft is not capable to supercruise.

Engines
The Stuama is engined by two turbofan engines, Luas L-26 Mark II with 30 kN dry thrust, 45.1 kN with afterburners. The R-87 is relatively easy to maintain for a turbofan engine. It is a highly effective low-bypass two-spool engine, using axial and centrifugal compressors to achieve higher pressure in the engine. It consumes 88.6 kg of fuel per kN and hour.

Avionics
The Stuama is equipped with a modern X-band aircraft radar, capable of tracking twelve targets at a range of sixty kilometres. Together with the battlescape network system employed, the Stuama is capable of attacking targets far beyond that range, utilizing the maximum effective ranges of eventual air to air missiles.
Triple redundant fly-by-wire control systems steer the aircraft, based on modular architecture with dual redundant digital databusses. An inertial navigation system provides the pilot with data about speed, heading and position via the Head-up Display.

While not being the largest vessel in our catalogue, the Goliath-class Destroyer is definately one of the more expensive - and that is for a reason.

Design
The Goliath-class Destroyer is a classical Monohull-Design, 165 metres long and 22 metres wide. Despite weighing 8,400 tons standard, the destroyer only has a draught of seven metres. The design has a theoretical maximum displacement of 9,000 tons. The vessel is armoured with splinter plating over vital areas like the bridge and the VLS-cells.
The Goliath-class Destroyer can act as a flotilla leader for a squadron of destroyers or other ships, having the workspace and accomodations for a leading staff of 23 soldiers, as well as the communications equipment needed and a coffee maker.

The Goliath-class Destroyer utilizes simple stealth measures to achieve a smaller radar crosssection, including inclined flanks and a superstructure built using radar absorbing synthetic materials. The thermal signature is reduced by funnelling the exhaust gases through a series of smaller pipes instead of a large stack - the engines themselves are settled on vibration absorbers to reduce the acoustic signature of the Goliath-class Destroyer.

Propulsion
Power and propulsion is provided by three gas turbines, producing a total of 120,000 shp or 89,500 kilowatts. They have a high power-to-weight ratio, which means, that they can power up easily and respond quickly. As a single-type system, not a combined system, which makes maintenance far easier, as high-maintenance gearboxes fall away. The propellers have a controllable pitch, making them more economic in energy consumption and more maneuvreable.
The Goliath-class Destroyer reaches a maximum speed of 30 knots and a maximum range of 6,500 nautical miles or 12,000 kilometres at cruising speed.

Decoys
The Goliath-class Destroyer has a large number of decoy-systems to protect itself and the ships around it against a multitude of threats.
Core of the entire suite is the MASS, a multi-ammunition softkill system. It is connected to the radar and sensors, detecting and capable of launching decoys operating on the relevant wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum to confuse advanced, sensor-guided missiles. It can either be operated by a person or operate autonomously.
For missiles of older generations, the Goliath-class Destroyer carries two Chaff-launchers and two Flare-launchers. These decoys are a lot more primitive to counteract more primitive means of attack. Their main advantage is, that they can not only be used defensively to defend the own units, but also offensively, to confuse the enemy radar, at least for a short time.
For defense against torpedoes, the Goliath-class Destroyer carries a torpedo decoy launcher, which is especially effective against acoustic-homing torpedoes. It basically sends out something, which makes a lot of noise, which makes the torpedo go into it instead of the ship.

The Goliath-class Destroyer carries a large suite of weaponry for its intended purpose: high-intensity combat and fleet protection. Most of the armament is focussed on the latter, with special emphasis given on air defense.
The only real offensive armament are the 120 VLS-shafts, grouped together into fifteen 8-cell modules, which can be loaded with virtually everything, from Anti-Ship Missiles (we recommend the Type 40), over cruise missiles, ASROC, SAM and even ASAT-missiles. Some missiles can be double, triple or even quad-packed, but we recommend reading the corresponding manuals before doing so. Thanks to the AEGIS-compatibility engaging incoming ballistic missiles should not be a problem. 40 of the VLS-shafts sit on the forecastle behing the T-21-turret, the rest aft behind the helicopter flight deck.
The other offensive weapon is the 130mm gun housed in a Túirín T-21 Mark II turret. It is a single-barrelled gun system, capable of firing shells at a distance of up to hundred and fifty kilometres at an enemy, be it a ship or a land target. The gun can also be used as an auxillary anti-air gun, we are currently working on a flechette-round specifically for this purpose, cooperating with Gabha Blacksmiths Ltd.. Sitting on the foredeck, the T-21 has an ideal range for traverse, theoretically being capable of turning the full 360 degrees, but being limited by the first 40 VLS shafts behind it, limiting the turning range to one hundred ten degrees to each side if seen from the centreline.
For defense against missiles and aircraft, the Goliath-class Destroyer carries four Ceantar C-84 Mark II CIWS, two on each broadside. These weapons, gatling guns with six barrels and an own little fire control radar, can reliably defend their ships and task groups against incoming missiles and against aircraft, provided, they come into range. They are the last line of defense, if everything else fails.
Before they are tasked with destroying the enemy or his ammunition, the two Ceantar C-44 Mark II 40mm guns fire - marketed as AA guns, the C-44 is more of a multi-purpose gun, effective against aircraft, missiles and small watercraft like Boghammers or FACs. With two on each side of the superstructure, the C-44 has a wide line of sight.
For defense against submarine, the Goliath-class Destroyer carries two Gráinneog G-321 Mark II Hedgehogs, capable of firing the Tormán Mark I shells: Fifteen shells are rocket launched into the general direction of the detected enemy submarine, but each of these shells now carries a small torpedo, an passive acoustic homing little weapon optimized for attacking submarines, penetrating their pressure hull quite effectively with 20 kilograms of high explosives. One will only cause problems for sure - two or more are a bit more difficult to handle. Mark II and Mark III shells will be homing via active acoustic homing and active sonar respectively.

Electronic Warfare
Electronic Warfare is one of the most important aspects of modern warfare, which is why the Goliath-class Destroyer is equipped with suites for ESM, EP and ECM:
Electronic Support Measures detect, intercept, identify, locate, record and analyze sources of radiated electromagnetic energy (for example radar) for threat recognition and other purposes, amongst them intelligence information. With these information, a commander can make the tactical and, if necessary, strategic decisions needed. It also provides the means necessary to gather information about the Electronic Warfare Systems of the enemy either in order to avoid an attack or to attack more effectively.
With Electronic Protection (EP), or Electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM), the ship is hardened against every kind of electronic attack, for example against scrambling and jamming. This allows to attack the enemy even when he feels safe with his jammers in place and activated.
Electronic Countermeasures, or ECM for short, are used to deceive and trick enemy means of detection and ultimately not having a guided missile slam into the ship's side. Be they sonar decoys or radar jammers (Rasberry Jammers is the system we usually use), active ECM measures confuse the enemy's sensors, while passive measures include for example the jamming of the guidance systems of enemy missiles.

Additionally, the Goliath-class Destroyer carries a SIGINT-suite. SIGINT, Signals Intelligence, covers the interception of communication between people and electronic devices, often involving decythering of messages and traffic analysis, basically who calls whom. As the suite onboard the Goliath-class Destroyer is only a light SIGINT-suite, the system is not capable of breaking more complex codes, leaving that open to more dedicated vessels, units and installations, but the system can track any electronic communication occuring and intercept messages for decoding, either onboard or at a different time.

The Goliath-class Destroyer is fitted with an extensive suite for detecting any enemy or enemy weapon, which can be detected.
This includes, thanks to the highly advanced surveillance and control radar array, ballistic missiles, be they launched by land or sea. The Goliath-class Destroyer is fully compatible with the AEGIS-System for strategic missile defense, the VLS-shafts can load the appropriate missiles, as well as even anti-Satellite missiles.
For threats closer to earth, the Goliath-class Destroyer has two combined air/surface search radars, multifunction radars already used and proven on a multitude of SDY-ships. The Nuacht N-13 Mark III is a highly versatile system for the purpose of detecting surface targets and air targets.
Although the N-13 can also act as a navigation radar, one N-4 radar was fitted for security and redundancy reasons.
Three N-38 Fire Control Radars complete the suite.

For the detection of underwater threats, the Goliath-class Destroyer is fitted with a hull-mounted sonar, capable of operating as an active and as a passive sonar system with a range of 70 kilometres. Two towed array sonars for longer hunting periods are also fitted.

The Type 900 Datalink is a system for Duplex Communication in both directions in real time, processing said data in real time as well. Not only sensors and weapons are connected by this system, but virtually everything onboard the ship, from consoles on the bridge to the mobile coffee maker by the helipad. Personal Computers and gaming devices of the crew use another system, utilizing a satellite uplink and being diconnected from the Datalink in every way, shape and form imagineable.
To exemplify the processing power of the Type 900 Datalink: When the first prototype of the Type 900 was supposed to be tested, the corresponding department in Laclan hosted a LAN-party with roundabout ten thousand participants (4,157 at height) playing 25 different games - with the 'Local Area Network' reaching across the entirety of the Free Lands with no lags whatsoever.

Artio Battlespace Network Mark III-D
Another important system aboard the Goliath-class Destroyer is the Artio Battlescape Network Mark III-D. Via directed data-transmission, each ship can share data by direct line of sight, around 40 kilometres due to the transmitters being placed on a specialized mast.
Although this system can be disrupted, albeit with a whole lot of difficulty, no one can listen in. The direct line of sight also requires, that no obstacles are between the transmission stations, which are kept in line by the Type 900. However, this range can be made next to unlimited by hooking up the whole system to a satellite, which can share the data needed without any problems.
Although normal telecommunication satellites can be used for this purpose, Silverport Dockyards Ltd. has made an invitation for bid to a few companies specialized in such things, hoping to be capable of offering a complete system with a specialized satellite by 2018. The Artio can be connected to major Battlescape Network Systems, but we highly recommend reading the manual.

History
In 2005, plans of the SDF-Navy and SDY began to take shape, resulting in a complete reformation of the SDF-Navy. One of the major points was the acquisition of vessels larger then the Rhiannon-class Frigates, namely destroyer-sized vessels under the placeholder-name Replacement-Rhiannon-class (or RR-class, as they were nicknamed). The RR-class was planned to be a multipurpose-vessel, fullfilling roles like escorts to allied capital vessels like carriers, but also capable of working in roles more relating to direct fleet combat, either in cooperation with own or allied vessels or entirely alone.
In late 2005, SDY began with the construction work of the RR-class, soon renamed Racht-class Destroyer. As the plans were brought to light in a scandal in 2007, the whole plan was abolished and all construction work on the Racht-class Destroyer officially halted due to the SDF-Navy "loosing interest".
SDY didn't loose interest, but placed the Racht-class Destroyer onto a lower priority level, basically shelving the entire project in favour of others. When the order for a destroyer of roughly the same measurements of the old Racht-class arrived at SDY, someone remembered the old design and unshelved it, continuing it under the name Goliath-class.

The Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel is the newest ship class for polar research needs, optimized for these environments, but capable of serving as a general research vessel as well. The ship is driven by two Ga-17 Nuclear Reactors, making this the first nuclear powered civilian vessels offered for export by Silverport Dockyards Ltd..

Design
The Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel is a classic monohull-design, featuring a reinforced double-hull plated in steel usually used for warships.
Although this is expensive, it has two reasons: First, this is a Polar Research Vessel and therefore it is very likely it will meet ice - which would cause lesser materials to be ripped open. This is even worse in combination with a second reason, namely, that this a nuclear powered vessel. Do you want to have a weak-hulled nuclear vessel attracting any sort of desaster, including icebergs, imagineable?
We didn't think so, too.
It has another major advantage as this allows the Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel to act as an icebreaker as well and to run supply lines to polar research stations. In combination with the helicopter pad astern, it gives the vessel an anstonishing supply range.
Should the worst happen anyway, the hull is separated into eight compartments with the nuclear reactors on either end of the ship, balancing the load of the heavy pieces of equipment.
The Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel is lined with exterior sensors and has a Hull-Mounted Sonar, a Navigation Radar and an Air-Search Radar in addition to the meteorological station and its sensors onboard.

Interior
To keep the cold outside and the warmth inside the ship, every hatch has an airlock-system akin to those used in space, which are similarly airtight. The outer hatch cannot be opened if the inner hatch is open and vice versa.
Even in the depth of a snowstorm, the crew can happily sit inside and guzzle down tea with a good lacing.
The hangar has only one gate, but can be heated up to working temperature. We recommend the gate not to be left open. The hangar has all necessary workshops nearby, which can also be used to maintain the oboard-complement of snow mobiles and other light all terrain vehicles. Two cranes on either side, rated for a maximum of five tons, can lower them onto the ice or freight into the main cargo holds.
The Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel is equipped with laboratories for the onboard complement of scientists, including two high-security biological laboratories, one containment unit for caught animals, separated into twenty holding cells, lovingly called The Zoo, two deep freezers for ice cores, a medical laboratory, a meteorological lab (including instruments on the superstructure) and six labs for different usages.

The Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel has space for sixty passangers, taking account for the need to transport scientists to and from polar research stations as well as the odd lone expedition. Tourists can be transported as well, but the Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel has little in the ways of entertainment or onboard activity.
The Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel is equipped with a Type 901 Datalink, a civilian cousin of the Type 900 Datalink found on SDY's military vessels. It is a system for Duplex Communication in real time, processing the gathered data in real time. The system connects the sensors, labs and the bridge, storing the resulting data both locally and transmitted home via satellite connection. Personal computers and gaming devices are usually disconnected from this system, but can be connected (the Type 901 can act as the host for a Local Area Network for games).

Power
The reactors are two Ga-17 Pressurized Water Nuclear Reactors, producing 200 Megawatts together, placed on either end of the vessel.
As far as nuclear reactors go, it operates like land based power plants do as well, heating water to produce steam, which power steam turbines to produce electrical power. The feed water, which is turned to steam, is pumped aboard, demineralised, and used. The reactor is cooled by a cooling cycle, supported by the external cooling system, namely the ice outside. We recommend to primarily use the Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel in cold areas with cold surroundings and not in the tropics.
90% enriched Uranium Fuel Cells need to be loaded as power cells. We also recommend employing experienced nuclear reactor technicians.

History
The Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel's life began as so many SDY-Designs begin: The engineers were bored and threw around ideas and at the wall, looking for what stuck. One of these things was the idea to build a nuclear powered research vessel, later turning into the idea to make the main area of operations the polar regions, providing the crews with a base to operate from nearly indefinately, at least energy-wise.
From there on, the idea developed into the Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel, hitting a few problems along the way. One of them was the cooling system, which was either too heavy, acted up, wasn't powerful enough or all of the above, simply because the first intention was for the Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel to be a Nuclear-Powered Research Vessel for use all around the world. Since the hull required a bit of strength and armour plating, being the hull of a nuclear-powered vessel, the construction simply couldn't support four reactors (our first intention was to use the older and less powerful Ga-11) and their double-redundant cooling systems, reconstructing it thrice didn't solve the problem.
In the end, the solution was simple: Scrap Ga-11, use Ga-17. With the more powerful Ga-17, the number of cooling systems was reduced to two, while including the very sea around the ship into the cooling systems added up to something called by the engineers the "2.5-times-redudant cooling system". This caused the Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel to shed a lot of weight, further sticking to the program resulted in the vessel turning into a dedicated research vessel optimized for colder waters, not only polar regions.
Construction of the first vessel, the Caorthann, a ship shared by the Universities of Silverport, Leuda and Launceston, began in 2010, delivery problems resulted in delays. She was completed in spring 2014, beginning with trials and commissioned late 2015. She was sent to her first arctic mission by the University of Silverport in 2016.

The Cineál-class Yacht is a luxury yacht and a state-of-the-art pleasure vessel, aiming to combine the needs of luxurious relaxation, representation, speed and comfort. Due to the interior construction, please see below, the Cineál-class Yacht can be adapted to any and all needs of style and taste.
As such, the Cineál-class Yacht can be used as a state yacht, if one wishes so.

History
In 2014, the Board of Directors of Silverport Dockyards tasked Yard 15 with the development of a private yacht, which could also be used as a state yacht. Main function would be the use as a private yacht, though.
Yard 15 obliged and developed the Cineál, built in 2015 with tests running until Spring 2016. After that, she is supposed to be used as a representation and demonstration vessel by us, fitted with different samples of interior construction for viewing pleasure.
In 2017, the Cineál and her design underwent a major interior design overhaul, resulting in less passengers with more comfort.

Design
The Cineál-class Yacht is a classical monohull-design, sleek in the waves, cutting through them like a hot knife through butter. The superstructure spans the entirety of of the width, being sheltered from wind and weather.
The little draught of 4.6 metres allows the Cineál-class Yacht to enter most harbours in the worlds and many natural bays - for those, which can not be entered, as well as for general supply and pleasure runs, the Cineál-class Yacht comes with the installations to carry three dinghies (4.5 x 1.8 metres each) and four jetskies.
In addition, the Cineál-class Yacht has a small flight deck and hangar, capable of supporting one small helicopter - and to store a second on the flight deck itself.
The Cineál-class Yacht comes equipped with a navigation radar, a small hull mounted sonar capable of detecting dangers beneath the surface, like rocks and cliffs, to allow avoiding them.

Telecommunication
In today's world, telecommunication is one of the most important things. As such, the Cineál-class Yacht comes with a satellite uplink for television and radio, as well as a second one for internet communication. Both of them have a backup and are completely isolated from the Yacht's systems, so that, if malware is infecting the Yacht, only the telecommunication systems and the Onboard Entertainment Network (OEN) are affected and not systems like the navigation, engines or radar.
Of course, both uplinks are secured with the best anti-malware software the Free Lands can offer, optimized for work in telecommunication systems and an offspring of the system securing the Artio Battlescape Network used on most military vessels of SDY. In addition to that, the Cineál-class Yacht has a small gaming and communications server capable of hosting all kinds of network games.
Access to the Onboard Entertainment Network can be achieved by cable (every stateroom has two LAN-sockets, both dining rooms have four, the grand salon eight, the smaller salon four, the Sundeck five and the owner's suite six) or by wireless connection with four transceivers strewn across the guest areas of the Cineál-class Yacht.

Engines
One of the most difficult parts to keep in mind about the construction of a yacht is engine noise: As a yacht is supposed to be a vessel for relaxation, so noise pollution is an important thing to avert.
For that purpose, the Cineál-class Yacht is built with three small diesel generators, providing a total of 10,500 kilowatts of power for propulsion and electrical systems on board. It reduces weight, maintenance costs and is quieter then for example steam engines and gearboxes. For additional noise prevention, the three generators are rested on shock absorbers, making the machinery considerably quieter. Efficient machienery also reduces the noise produced by them.

Deck Layout
The Staterooms
The Cineál-class Yacht has 25 staterooms
(20 single, 5 pair) for 30 guests of the owner.
Upper Main Deck:

The Cineál-class Yacht has six decks, two below the waterline and four above:
    Sun Deck: The highest deck is the Sun Deck, built to take a relaxing sun bath, drink a drink made in the small bar or take a relaxing bath in the jacuzzi.
    Upper Main Deck: The Upper Main houses the bridge, the owner's suite (including a larger bath and a study) and the remaining staterooms, as well as a dining room with a nice panorama looking over the stern and a salon for dignified (and not so dignified) company. On this floor is a secure room, which can be used as an armory. The outer side is sheltered from winds and weather.
    Lower Main Deck: The Lower Main Deck sports the Grand Salon, the Grand Dining Room and the main galley used for cooking for the guests. The Lower Main Deck will usually be the one, where the guests arrive onboard, either by gangway or by landing on the helicopter pad at the stern (the helipad can be used as a outdoor dining area).
    Lower Deck: The Lower Deck houses the majority of the work spaces, like workshops and the docks for the dinghies and jetskis, as well as the quarters for higher-ranked crew-members. A recreational room for the crew is offered as well. The onboard watercraft are docked here with the help of a small docking bay at waterline as well. An exterior swimming platform at the stern and two small changing rooms are for the guests.
    Waterline
    Crew Deck: The Crew Deck houses the majority of the facilities of the crew, including their mess and kitchen, laundry rooms, cabins and so on. A few storage rooms are on this deck as well.
    Machine Deck: The lowest deck is the machine deck. This deck houses the Diesel Engines for propulsion and electricity, as well as the fuel tanks.
All staterooms have a bathroom en suite, with shower, basin, cupboard and, in the case of the pair-staterooms, a bathtub. Material and design of these are up to the prospective owner.

Interior Design
The raw Cineál-class Yacht will be delivered with the full technical section, meaning engines, computer and control systems, OEN and satellite connections, as well as bathrooms and all other functions not covered by the Interior Design. The Cineál-class Yacht will be delivered with no jetskis or helicopters and one dinghy to be used as a Yacht Tender.
Each bathroom, except the owner's suite, is equipped with a small shower, a sink, a mirror, a garbage can, a small cabinet, a laundry chute and a toilet. Walls and floor are tiled, a terry-cloth carpet protects against slipping (SDY does not take any responsibility for slipping-accidents).
The bathroom of the owner's suite is a bit roomier and larger, as well as it additionally has a bathtub.

Besides evergreens like Art Deco, different Expressionisms and other art styles, we offer the Cineál-class Yacht in the following interior design styles:

The Traditional Selkie Interior Design takes elements from what you find in a traditional Selkie-Home as a interior design: Hand-woven carpets of good wool, available in different colours and designs, but mostly rather subdued, light carpets are rather unusual.

Each stateroom is pannelled with wood, carved by the hands of masters, displaying symbols of the seas like the gentle waves. Dark wood is the colour of the furniture, made by masters as well, which creates feelings of class and style or of homey comfortableness, depending on what you want to see. They are illuminated by ambient indirect light.
The dining room has a beautiful panorama of the area astern of the yacht, protected by armoured glass as it gives a 270 degree panorama overlooking the flight deck, the stern and both sides as the dining room goes over the full breadth of the superstructure, the double doors doubling as the entrance for guests and stewards. A table for eight people (with sufficient space), as well as a small row of sideboards at the entrance will be provided.
The Grand Dining Room for twenty people is illuminated by a chandellier of the Solas Style, amber reflecting light of little bulbs all across the room. The floor of dark wood can either be left that way or covered by a rug. One large table or four smaller ones for five people each will be provided, as well as sideboards along the sides of the room. Windows permit the view outside, over the gangway of the Lower Main Deck onto the open sea. Alternatively, the tables can be moved aside in order to get a dance floor.
The Grand Salon on the Lower Main Deck, right along the hall from the Grand Dining Room, is the great room for celebration, reception and gathering aboard. With the comfortable chairs, couches, a few sideboards, the bookshelves, LAN-sockets and other amenities, it is an ideal gathering and lounging room. A carpet provides a good surface.
The Salon on the Upper Main Deck is basically everything the Grand Salon is, but smaller, more compact - and private.


'Children of the Great Woods' are the Bláth Fiáin, wild flowers, of the Free Lands. Hermits and recluses, living alone or in smaller groups, seldom leaving the Great Woods - some might call them escapists, but some of them lived this way since their very birth. These low-tech people, being a Selkie-synonym for absolute freedom, developed their own artistic style of interior design, one this choice tries to emulate - but not absolutely, of course, you are still on a Yacht, after all.
All fur in this design is artificial fur for reasons of preservation of wildlife, lowering of costs and ease of cleaning.

The Staterooms are panelled and floored with wood, looking a bit rugged, their pattern and art are their veins. Fur blankets cover the sleeping place, a low frame with a matress, warm, comfortable and easy. Even when just sitting or lying on the blanket, you will sink in, hugged by the soft hairs. Illumination of these rooms comes by lamps shaped to look like candles, being adjustable in their light output. Three are installed in the stateroom, while a fourth can be moved freely.
The Dining Room is homely, a table and chairs of massive wood, cushions filled with the finest downs of the Free Lands provided as optional comfort for seating. The floor is covered with a simple knotted carpet, a simple design to underline the uncomplicated nature of the design.
The Grand Dining Room is floored with wild polished wood, dark and massive, while the Grand Dining Room itself is a faint memory of the Dearmadta Inn, the most famous inn in the Great Woods: Half a dozen small tables, four chairs each, made of wood, a small bar (equipped with a small freezer) with stools and a little stage for a musician or artist make this room not a dining room in the strict sense, but a room for eating in company and with friends.
The Grand Salon on the other hand is a comfortable sitting room with a large fireplace (with the exhaust being led into the engine exhaust pipes) and comfortable couches around it, comfortable enough to sink into them once you sit. A large fur covers the floor between the couches and the fireplace, while the rest of the Grand Salon's floor is panelled with wood. A simple chandellier of brass hangs from the ceiling, utilizing the same kind of lamps as are used in the staterooms. A few chairs are in this room as well, reserved for extra guests or performers. The room's walls are lined with sideboards.
It's smaller couterpart has a wooden floor as well, but armchairs as seatings, a smaller fireplace and only one line of sideboards. However, the room can easily be converted into a dancing room by simply moving the armchairs to the side, providing space for musicians and dancers.

A Yacht is not only a pleasure vessel, but also a safe refuge. To make it safer, Silverport Dockyards Limited offers to equip the Cineál-class Yacht with a Multi-Ammunition Softkill System (or MASS for short), a torpedo decoy launcher, two SDY-Gabha SG-1 Mark III 30mm Autocannons for self-defense and two safe rooms, one being the owner's suite, the other being the Captain's room.
The Secure Room on the Upper Main Deck will be equipped to serve as an armory.


The Submarine Package is a rebuild of the docking area for the onboard watercraft, giving up two dinghies in favour of one miniature submersible craft for trips underwater, either alone or with friends. There is enough space for a diesel-electric submersible for up to six people (excluding pilot) going as deep as 350 metres.
In cases of emergency, this submersible can be used as an emergency evecuation craft.

The O'Ryan-class Yacht is a Yacht-design answering the request for prototype development by the President of Paleocacher. As his personal dream yacht, it not only fullfills the needs for relaxation and refreshment, but can also be used as a state vessel.

Design
The O'Ryan-class Yacht is a normal monohull-design, 85.3 metres long, 17.14 metres wide and 3.85 metres deep in the water at a weight of 3,321 metric tons. She can load 120,000 litres of water and 250,000 litres of diesel fuel.
Powered by two Diesel Electric power generators, the O'Ryan class Yacht utilized the energy created by them for all needs of electricity, from the engines to the light, completely avoiding the need for space-absorbing specialized ship engines. This design, also known as Integrated Electric Propulsion, is easier to maintain and operate then other kinds of engine designs. Both generators rest on shock-absorbers, which make them more silent, both for the end of environmental impact and for enhancing the pleasureable experience aboard by completely avoiding engine noise and vibrations.
For exhaust gases, the O'Ryan-class Yacht has two small funnels, sloped outward to avoid interfering with helicopter operations, seeing that the helipad and hangar are on the B-Deck behind the bridge, directly beneath the sound-proof owner's suite.

The O'Ryan-class Yacht will be delivered 'raw', meaning, that the largest part of the interior design, meaning carpets, furniture and so on, will not be equipped. However, the technical section will be fully equipped and functional.

Accomodation
The O'Ryan-class Yacht has five decks, one entirely below the waterline, one on the waterline and three above. All decks are connected by elevators, staircases and, in the case of the decks C, D and E, with ramps fitted for pallet trucks.
    A-Deck: Most of the A-Deck is taken up by the owner's suite, including its own bathroom with hot tub and a large one-way panorama window (allowing you to look out but no one can look inside) and a saferoom, the Grand Dining Room and the Conference Room.
    B-Deck: The B-Deck is both occupied by the bridge, most electronic systems, which can not be stuffed on the D or E Deck (like radar, MASS and both CIWS turrets at port and starbord), as well as the helicopter hangar and the helipad. The B-Deck has a small exit onto the outer side, which can access the radar and telecommunications mast, either for maintenance or, after a bit of climbing, the small crow's nest atop of the mast. A saferoom, which can be used as a storeroom for important possessions or as an armory, is on this deck as well.
    C-Deck: The C-Deck is where most of the passengers will live, the staterooms (four designed for double beds, six designed for single beds, eight designed for double occupation) are here, after all. Also on the C-Deck are the small onboard cinema with twelve seats, the onboard disco (doubling as a smaller dining room and bar, if wished) and the sun deck, a small open deck astern, from which the passengers of the yacht can go into the water and out again, sunbake and even use as an outdoor dining area.

    D-Deck (waterline): The D-Deck has the accomondations for the crew and the storerooms for all the things, which might be needed in daily and not-so-daily yacht operations. The Docking Room for the onboard yacht tenders and the small bays for the onboard submarines are on the D-Deck as well. A small armory with weapons to repel boarders is an integral part of the onboard security concept.
    E-Deck: The E-Deck contains the innermost workings of the O'Ryan-class Yacht, engines and fuel bunkers and other installations, which are needed to keep the ship running and as pleasureable as it is.

Telecommunication
The O'Ryan-class Yacht comes with an extensive suite of telecommunication equipment, in the form of two satellite uplinks to provide access to television and radio as well as internet. These are connected to the Onboard Entertainment Network, OEN for short,
The OEN and the shipboard systems are isolated from each other so that malware infections do not mess with the yacht itself.
A second external communication system is provided as well. It is, like the shipboard systems, not connected to the OEN. Sockets to connect to this system are in the owner's suite and the conference room, a wireless connection can be installed, but we do not recommend it.
All of these systems have backups and come equipped with the best anti-malware software the Free Lands have to offer.

Defensive Systems
For defensive purposes, the O'Ryan-class Yacht comes equipped with a torpedo decoy launcher, a Multi-Ammunition Softkill System and two Ceantar C-84 Mark I 30mm CIWS with an effective firing range of 4.5 kilometers, a tried and tested system. Alternatively, the O'Ryan-class Yacht can be delivered without these CIWS for the purpose of arming it by the customer.
However, the CIWS with six barrels, can fire over four thousand rounds per minute, store two thousand rounds directly 'on hand' and ready to be fired, if need should arise at surface targets as well, as this CIWS can be manually controlled as well and has an elevation down to -10 degrees.
The MASS is connected to the radar and uses the data collected by it to launch radar decoys operating on all relevant wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, confusing advanced sensor-guided missiles. The torpedo decoys are simple things build to confuse acoustic-homing torpedoes with a lot of noise.

Yawls, tenders and other craft
The O'Ryan-class Yacht has accommodations to carry six jetskis, two midget-submersibles with a maximum length of 16 metres, two yacht tenders and a helicopter. The flight deck is not rated for usage by vectored thrust VTOLs, but can handle tiltrotor-craft. None of these craft are included in the package.
Although we usually do not mention that, the O'Ryan-class of course also carries an appropriate assortment of lifeboats and more then enough swimming vests. There are also three emergency senders placed along the ship, one in the keel astern, one in the bow, one atop of the radar mast, which will activate once the generators go offline without the proper shutdown sequence and will send an emergency signal for two days.

History
During the construction of the Cineál-class Yacht, Yard 15 began to think about a smaller vessel, more geared towards a business or governmental application while still remaining in the spirit of the relaxing atmosphere of the larger yacht design. First design studies were quickly put aside as other matters began to take shape.
Around the time, the Navy of Paleocacher searched for a presidential yacht in accordance with certain specifications - SDY was happy to deliver, building up on the design studies of the governmental yacht, gearing it further towards representation and relaxation.

The Faoileán-class Drone Carrier is an experimental ship tasked with the deployment of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), more commonly and by us as well referred to as drones, from a seaborne platform. It was originally developed as an auxillary ship for coast guard service, who needed cheap vessels for support of their operations and regular patrols from the air.
The Faoileán-class Drone Carrier can be used as a flagship as well.

Design
The Faoileán-class Drone Carrier is a classical monohull-design, 180 in length, sporting a beam of 21 meters and having a draught of 8.5 meters, weighing 11,200 tons when fully equipped and operational.
She has a flight deck, spanning the entirety of the length of the vessel, with only a small part of it being used to launch and recover drones due to the small length required due to the EMALS-catapults used to launch drones. This flight deck is used to launch and recover drones, as well as flight deck for the two onboard helicopters. Thanks to the nature of the drones as only be limited by the structural stability of the drone itself, we are able to launch and stop them over far shorter distances, but more on that below.
Contrary to other modern carrier-designs, the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier does not have an island, the command and control facilities being housed inside of the vessel's hull, including the drone control rooms and staff rooms. While the hull is designed with a reduced radar signature in mind, it is not a dedicated stealth vessel.

Propulsion
The propulsion and electricity is provided by the same system, an Integrated Electric Propulsion (IEP for short) of three diesel generators providing 97,000 kW of electricity used by both the engines and the other systems aboard, saving space, operating costs, weight and maintenance costs.
Each generator produces enough energy to run basic systems of the vessel in case one or two generators fail, be it due to mechanical damage or due to enemy action. As they are spread around the ship, it is hard to take all three out with a single strike.
The energy produced can also be used to recharge electrically powered drones.

Decoys
For defense against threats without the need of firing a shot, the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier is equipped with a wide array of decoys - these are the "0th Layer of defense", so to speak. This suite encompasses a Multi-ammunition Softkill System, MASS for short, a torpedo-decoy launcher and a chaff-launcher.
The MASS is connected to the sensor systems, mainly radar, and uses the data collected by the radar to launch decoys operating on all relevant wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, confusing advanced, sensor-guided missiles. It can either be operated by a person or operate autonomously.
For less advanced sensor guided missiles, the suite encompasses a chaff launcher. Its primitive decoys confuse the radar on sensor-guided missiles - and are capable of confusing the enemy radar as well.
Last, but not least, the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier is equipped with a torpedo decoy launcher. This system dispenses a decoy to confuse acoustic homing torpedos - basically something that makes a lot of noise, luring the torpedo into the decoy and not into the ship.

The Faoileán-class Drone Carrier is equipped with mostly defensive weaponry, even the one for usage by coast guards. Due to criminal elements getting more and more armed, this was deemed necessary.
For private corporate usage, a disarmed version will be offered.
The defense is organized in three active layers, ideally, depending on what is loaded into the Feadán Fe-12 Mark II VLS.
We recommend quad-packed Surface-to-Air Missiles, which make the first layer of defense against incoming missiles and aircraft. A few of these shafts should be loaded with ASROC as well, just for security against submarines. These VLS-Shafts can of course be loaded with next to every missile, including cruise missiles (as long as they fit) and AShMs, but we really recommend SAMs and ASROC.
The second layer are the four 40mm AA guns, Ceantar C-44 Mark II. Although they are called AA-guns, the four guns, two on starboard, two on port, are multi-purpose guns, constructed to be targetted at nearly every kind of target on the surface and above. Although optimized for anti-aircraft defense, they can also be used against larger missiles.
The last layer of defense are the two Ceantar C-84 Mark II 30mm CIWS. Equipped with their own little fire control radar and programmed to act completely autonomous, the C-84 Mark II is an ideal missile defense and last resort in that regard. Gabha Blacksmiths Ltd., one of our partners, is currently developing new, caseless ammunition

Electronic Warfare
The Faoileán-class Drone Carrier is equipped with full suites for Electronic Countermeasures (ECM), Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and Electronic Protection (EP).
Electronic Countermeasures, or ECM for short, are used to deceive and trick enemy means of detection and ultimately not having a guided missile slam into the ship's side. Be they sonar decoys or radar jammers (Rasberry Jammers is the system we usually use), active ECM measures confuse the enemy's sensors, while passive measures include for example the jamming of the guidance systems of enemy missiles.
Electronic Support Measures meanwhile detect, intercept, identify, locate, record and analyze sources of radiated electromagnetic energy (for example radar) for threat recognition and other purposes, amongst them intelligence information. With these information, a commander can make the tactical and, if necessary, strategic decisions needed. It also provides the means necessary to gather information about the Electronic Warfare Systems of the enemy either in order to avoid an attack or to attack more effectively.
With Electronic Protection (EP), or Electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM), the ship is hardened against every kind of electronic attack, for example against scrambling and jamming. This allows to attack the enemy even when he feels safe with his jammers in place and activated.

The Faoileán-class Drone Carrier is also equipped with a full SIGINT suite or Signal Intelligence Suite. This allows for the interception of enemy electromagnetic signals (not radio, but for example radar) and their analysis, establishing technical data and boundaries of enemy sensors.
This information can then be used for Electronic Warfare and for defense against the enemy.

Sensors and Processing Systems
The Faoileán-class Drone Carrier marks the debut of the Nuacht N-25 Mark III Long Range Air Search Radar, an air search radar operating on the X-band, optimized for the search of aerial targets and, in combination with the Type 900 Datalink and the Artio Battlescape Network (see below), their elimination at ranges, which make it impossible to reply. The N-25 has a high enough resolution to detect a non-dedicated stealth combat aircraft at a range of 700 kilometers, while larger aircraft can be detected at a distance of up to 800 kilometers.
Additionally, the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier is equipped with two Nuacht N-12 Mark II Air/Surface Search Radars, multi function radars proved to be effective by nearly all major SDY-vessels being equipped with them.
For the detection of subsurface threats, the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier is equipped with a hull-mounted sonar system, capable of detecting both threats like reefs just as well as any submarine.

The Type 900 Datalink is a system for Duplex Communication in both directions in real time, processing said data in real time as well. Not only sensors and weapons are connected by this system, but virtually everything onboard the ship, from consoles on the bridge to the mobile coffee maker by the helipad. Personal Computers and gaming devices of the crew use another system, utilizing a satellite uplink and being diconnected from the Datalink in every way, shape and form imagineable.
To exemplify the processing power of the Type 900 Datalink: When the first prototype of the Type 900 was supposed to be tested, the corresponding department in Laclan hosted a LAN-party with roundabout ten thousand participants (4,157 at height) playing 25 different games - with the 'Local Area Network' reaching across the entirety of the Free Lands with no lags whatsoever.

Artio Battlespace Network Mark III-D
Another important system aboard the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier is the Artio Battlescape Network Mark III-D. Via directed data-transmission, each ship can share data by direct line of sight, around 40 kilometres due to the transmitters being placed on a specialized mast.
Although this system can be disrupted, albeit with a whole lot of difficulty, no one can listen in. The direct line of sight also requires, that no obstacles are between the transmission stations, which are kept in line by the Type 900. However, this range can be made next to unlimited by hooking up the whole system to a satellite, which can share the data needed without any problems.
Although normal telecommunication satellites can be used for this purpose, Silverport Dockyards Ltd. has made an invitation for bid to a few companies specialized in such things, hoping to be capable of offering a complete system with a specialized satellite by 2018. The Artio can be connected to major Battlescape Network Systems, but we highly recommend reading the manual.

Everything above that is considered super-heavy.
Faoileán-class Drone Carrier is a ship optimized for carrying drones for a multitude of missions, be it surveillance, reconnaisance, attack, patrol, research or any other mission you can think of for a drone to handle. Of course, however, there are certain limitations as to what is possible to carry aboard and what not to carry about. Two factors are to be kept in mind: Size of the drone and fuel. While electrically powered drones can easily be recharged, that is less the case with fuel powered drones. A fleet oiler in company of the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier might be a good idea in case that is necessary.
However, apart from these two limiting factors, next to everything is possible. Since a remote controlled drone can resist higher g-forces then a squishy human body, they do not need long runways, which is used by the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier in the ways of simply launching the drones via EMALS-catapult. Drones are recovered by a so called 'Net-Landing', the softer and more effective version of a emergency barricade used on aircraft carriers, basically crashing them into a barricade net erected on the flight deck, which then stops the incoming drone within a very limited length of runway required. In July 2017, the SDF-Navy's Nead Foiche was re-equipped with arresting gear for a more conventional recovery of drones, but the net-landing gear remained due to security concerns of the vessel's Captain. Consequently, both systems will be used on board, dependence on which system being up to the operator.
Three lifts, one for ammunition, the others for the drones, connect the readiness hangar with the flight deck.
The helicopters, the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier can support up to two, have space at the end of the readiness hangar, using the same lifts.
The Airgroup of the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier can consist of light, medium and heavy drones as outlined to the right. Helicopter Drones are a possibility as well. Since the flight deck is rated clear for VTOLs of the vectored thrust variety, these are possible as well. Super-Heavy drones are generally not recommended, but the computer systems used to control the onboard complement can also be used to control approaching drones from a command centre closer to the actual action.
The actual air group depends on the ressources, the mission, the enemy and a few other factors, but the drone control rooms have fifty drone control consoles.

History
The history of the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier begins long before the invention of remote-controlled aircraft with a cruiser of the SDF-Navy: SDFC Faoileán was a catapult ship, later seaplane tender and even later Helicopter Carrier of the SDF-Navy.
Fast forward a few decades and move to the early 2000s, when the Coirceog, a retrofitted freighter, it's name meaning beehive (because drones - it was a different time), was tested. She is basically the technology demonstrator and testbed for all technologies required by the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier, but the idea didn't really catch on.
Although the first few plans and concept studies were made, the project was shelved, the SDF didn't see the use and need for such a vessel.

However, in 2013, the Water Police, our coast guard, became interested in the project: With it, they wanted to watch over larger parts of the waters of the Free Lands, hoping to rely less on the Anti-Piracy Patrols of the SDF-Navy.
We continued with the work, soon abandoning the idea of a repurposed freighter-design. We switched to a cruiser design, adapting it to a drone-carrying cruiser or Drone Carrier in the process. The Faoileán-class Drone Carrier turned from an auxillary vessel into a leading vessel with all appropriate facilities.
In early 2015, the Water Police ordered WPS Faoileán, launched in late 2015, currently on shakedown.
Meanwhile, the SDF showed interest in the project as well: Since the Free Lands are a relatively small nation, expandability is a vital asset - and a drone is far cheaper then a pilot and his plane.

With the versatility of drones, the Faoileán-class Drone Carrier can be used for many purposes and with the WPS Faoileán being put into service in June 2016, it will be demonstrated. Primarily being intended to be used as a carrier for surveillance drones, the Faoileán can also carry combat drones, radar drones and other drones as well.

The Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel is a small, frigate-sized ship built for desaster-relief operations. It can act as 'flagship' for desaster-relief efforts, carrier for goods and personell and as a link to the outside world, should all communication be lost.

Design
The Savior-class Emergency Response is a classical monohull design, built for withstanding heavy sea conditions, up to Sea State 7 (at least as far as we tested it). The hull should be capable of withstanding Sea State 9, but we haven't tested it. It is also capable of operating in heavy weather, including hurricanes and worse.
The hull is reinforced with steel we usually use to build warships with, simply to protect the ship against any swimming debris and to give it additional stability at sea. This armor also works as a reinforcement of the structure itself.
Inside the hull the Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel houses a fully equipped hospital with one hundred beds, plus twenty emergency patient facilities plus five operating theatres plus a small maternity ward with three beds.
Two cranes on both sides of the Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel enable the vessel to lower RHIBs, small boats or equipment lighter then fifteen tons and no less then ten meters away. Since the lifts down into the major cargo hold is within this range, it can work for that purpose as well. These cranes can also be operated in heavy sea.
The Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel is equipped with a satellite uplink capable of contacting every satellite in orbit in addition to her normal communication suite, which is a scaled down version of the communicated suite used on board the Glorium-class Command Ship from our Military Branch.

Propulsion
As engines, the Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel utilizes a system known as 'Integrated Electric Propulsion' or IEP for short. It basically means, that the fuel on board is used to power electric generators, which then transmit the electric power through cables to the engines and the shaft, which then turn the propellers to make the ship move, which then indeed move the ship.
As a considerably less complicated design then for example Combined Diesel and Gas (CODAG for short), it is cheaper in maintenance and operation, as well as easier to check and repair in case of problems. The Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel gets quieter and sheds weight, especially due to the fact, that the same engines, that move the ship, also provide the electrical power needed on board anyways, reducing the costs considerably.
The two onboard diesel generators provide a total of 50,000 kW and even if one is not operational anymore, the other is capable of providing enough power to make the essential functions, like engines, communication and medical devices, work, enabling the Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel to limp back to a friendly port even when the armour fails (although that will not happen, it is better to be safe then sorry).

Sensors and Processing Systems
The Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel is equipped with a S-Band Doppler Weather Radar, the Nuacht N-92, similar to the ones used by Weather Agency of the Free Lands, and a fully equipped weather station, including a weather rock. The station uses data collected by the radars and transmitted by the Type 901 to make relatively accurate forecasts.
Additionally, the Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel is equipped with a combined Air/Surface Search Radar, doubling as a Navigation Radar, and a Hull-Mounted Sonar for detection of eventual underwater threats.

The Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel is equipped with a Type 901 Datalink, a civilian cousin of the Type 900 Datalink found on SDY's military vessels. It is a system for Duplex Communication in real time, processing the gathered data in real time. The system connects the sensors, labs and the bridge, storing the resulting data both locally and transmitted home via satellite connection. Personal computers and gaming devices are usually disconnected from this system, but can be connected.

Armament
The Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel is completely unarmed, as much as ship weaponry goes.
Four positions, two port and two starboard, along the sides of the Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel are intended for being refitted with SDY-Gabha SG-1 Mark III 30mm autocanons for defense against light targets, but delivery contents do not contain these self-defense weapons.
However, the Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel has two small armouries, or rather weapons lockers, on either side of the ship, each capable of holding up to five rifles and sufficient amounts of ammunition for an onboard security team.

Air Group
The Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel is capable of carrying two medium-sized helicopters, with the flight deck being rated fit for vectored-thrust VTOLs. Both helicopters have onboard facilities available for refuelling and maintenance, including an enclosed hanger with reinforced doors.
The aircraft facilities are capable of operating in heavy Sea States, including heavy winds. We do not recommend it, though.

The Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel is equipped with a new experimental technology, the reinvention of an old one: In older times, before the invention of the helicopter, large warships used to carry onboard floatplanes, launched by catapult and collected by crane.
Of course, this had many disadvantages, the floatplane not being a fully fledged fighterplane, only operateable in calm sea, need of time for launching and collecting - it was a quite obvious choice to discard the floatplane in favour of the helicopter.
However, new technologies enable the Savior-class Emergency Response Vessel to carry a drone catapult, optimized for small surveillance drones. These drones, remote controlled from a control room aboard the vessel, can be used for a multitude of missions. A twenty meter long, collapseable, electro-magnetic catapult launches the drones, although this catapult can also be used as a launching rail, without having to use it as a catapult.
A small hangar, more a workshop at the side of the catapult, provides space for maintenance and storage of up to six small drones.

History
From the Dawn of Time itself, one of the major questions in case of desaster was: How do I get people and material to the place as fast as possible with as little effort as possible?
In the early 2000s, SDY began with the studies for a vessel of roundabout 5000 tons to transport personell and equipment to a desaster zone. Although the project never reached anything remotely workable, it was stored in the archives - until the Holy Republic of Free Missouri approached Silverport Dockyards in 2016 with a request for such a vessel.
Someone remembered the old 5000-ton-design for similar purposes, before throwing the idea out of the window and starting from scratch. Designed from keel upwards, the new design was made to have a hull strong enough to withstand much of what could possibly be thrown at it, carry dinghys, provide aerial reconnaisance by the way of newest technology and act as a swimming hospital, command post and communications array.
It was not made to be a pretty design, but both tough and reliable, both things one wants to have when facing desaster.

The Precision-II-class Gunboat is a gunboat design, answering a request for development of the Federation of Kendor and its Navy. Originally designed as a combat aid vessel, designed to provide fire support and cover for troops operating near shores or rivers, the Precision-II-class Gunboat can be used for Counter-Insurgency Operations, as an auxillary submarine hunter, as a general patrol vessel and even as an auxillary transport.

Design
The Precision-II-class Gunboat is a classic, monohull design displacing 1,470 tons with full combat load. It is 80.1 meters long, 12.2 wide and has a draught of 3.3 meters. Despite being only a little lighter then the Scoth-class Corvette, we do not recommend prolonged operations in Blue Waters, although they can do so and have their use as submarine hunters.
What the Precision-II-class Gunboat excels at are operations in Brown Water Environments or littoral waters, as well as riverine environments. In fact, the Precision-II-class Gunboat is optimized for such environments.
Special measures, such as a wide hull, allow for a shallow draft, but do little in increasing the capability for Blue Water operations.

Propulsion
The Precision-II-class Gunboat is powered by two Diesel generators, which each produce 4,500 kilowatts of energy, which can be used to power radar, communications and everything down to the coffee machine. This also includes the propulsion.
The system, generally called an Integrated Electric Propulsion, provides the power as long as it is provided Diesel. With one generator aft and one closer to the bow, resting on shock absorbers to lower the acoustic signature, the Precision-II-class Gunboat is easy to maintain. Thanks to the arrangement of the generators, the Precision-II-class Gunboat can stay operational even after loosing one of these generators due to enemy fire.

Decoys
The Precision-II-class Gunboat is equipped with a multitude of defensive systems, including decoys. These are the primary layer of defense against missiles and torpedoes.
The Multi-Ammunition Softkill System, MASS for short, is connected to the radar via the Type 900 Datalink and uses the relevant data to launch radar decoys operating on all relevant wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, confusing advanced, sensor-guided missiles. It can either be operated by a sailor or operate autonomously.
For less advanced, heat-seeking missiles, the Precision-II-class Gunboat is equipped with a chaff-launcher.
In order to defend against torpedoes, the Precision-II-class Gunboat is equipped with sonar decoys, basically something that makes a lot of noise to confuse acoustic homing torpedoes.

Electronic Warfare
The Precision-II-class Gunboat is equipped with a fully functional Suite for Electronic Support Measures, ESM for short. This enables the vessel to track electronic attacks, to detect locks onto the vessel by, for example, radar guided missiles, as well as to intercept and record enemy transmissions, for example by radio.

The Precision-II-class Gunboat is equipped with one Nuacht N-12 Multi-Function Radar, optimized for Air Search and Surface Search modes. The radar doubles as a fire control and navigation radar, rolling all of these functions into one handy system, which is easy to repair and maintan. It is a powerful system as well, capable of tracking 400 targets at the same time, 400 kilometres away and up to 9.5 kilometres above the water or on the water or anywhere inbetween.
Additionally, the Precision-II-class Gunboat also has a Towed Array Sonar as primary system for the detection of submarines.

The Type 900 Datalink is a system for Duplex Communication in both directions in real time, processing said data in real time as well. Not only sensors and weapons are connected by this system, but virtually everything onboard the ship, from consoles on the bridge to the mobile coffee maker by the helipad. Personal Computers and gaming devices of the crew use another system, utilizing a satellite uplink and being diconnected from the Datalink in every way, shape and form imagineable.
To exemplify the processing power of the Type 900 Datalink: When the first prototype of the Type 900 was supposed to be tested, the corresponding department in Laclan hosted a LAN-party with roundabout ten thousand participants (4,157 at height) playing 25 different games - with the 'Local Area Network' reaching across the entirety of the Free Lands with no lags whatsoever.

Artio Battlespace Network Mark III-D
Another important system aboard the Precision-II-class Gunboat is the Artio Battlescape Network Mark III-D. Via directed data-transmission, each ship can share data by direct line of sight, around 40 kilometres due to the transmitters being placed on a specialized mast.
Although this system can be disrupted, albeit with a whole lot of difficulty, no one can listen in. The direct line of sight also requires, that no obstacles are between the transmission stations, which are kept in line by the Type 900. However, this range can be made next to unlimited by hooking up the whole system to a satellite, which can share the data needed without any problems.
Although normal telecommunication satellites can be used for this purpose, Silverport Dockyards Ltd. has made an invitation for bid to a few companies specialized in such things, hoping to be capable of offering a complete system with a specialized satellite by 2018. The Artio can be connected to major Battlescape Network Systems, but we highly recommend reading the manual.

The Precision-II-class Gunboat is equipped with a multitude of weaponry for self-defense and their original mission, namely providing fire support to own troops.
Housed on the foredeck is the core of the offensive armament, the Túirín T-12 Mark II, a double-barrelled 76mm gun with a maximum firing range of 27.5 kilometers. Although it is primarily a gun against surface targets and shore installations (or rather everything on the surface within range), it can be used as an auxillary AA-gun (the SDF-navy did so during the Halfblakistani Expedition).
For self-defense against missiles, the Precision-II-class Gunboat is equipped with a Ceantar C-84 Mark II CIWS, housed in front of the bridge, where it is capable of providing cover against incoming missiles from nearly all angles with a traverse range of 115 degrees to either side (theoretically, it is capable of turning the whole 360 degrees, but the superstructure limits this capability). It can either be controlled manually or set on automatic fire, which we would recommend since the C-84 is equipped with its own targetting radar and fire control mechanisms.
The Precision-II-class Gunboat carries a Feadán Fe-12 Mark I 8-cell VLS-Module as well, a system with eight cells for hot launch, capable of being loaded with nearly every kind of missile, as long as it fits into the shaft. This includes, but is not limited to, cruise missiles, ASROCs and AShMs, but especially SAMs, some of which can even be quad-packed into the shafts.
For its role as an auxillary submarine hunter, the Precision-II-class Gunboat is equipped with a Gráinneog G-321 Mark II Hedgehog, which is capable of launching the Tormán Mark I shells: Fifteen shells, rocket launched into the general direction of the enemy submarine, each of them carrying a small torpedo as well, which passive acoustically homes into the enemy submarine, penetrating its pressure hull with their payload of twenty kilograms of high explosives - one would be troublesome, two or more would be devastating.
Lastly, and solely in support of shore operations, the Precision-II-class Gunboat is equipped with the Feadán Fe-21 Mark III Dumbfire Missile Launcher, otherwise known as the thing mounted on the back of Gabha Blacksmith's Saighdeoir MRLS. The thirty barrels of this system can be loaded with 122mm artillery rockets, as long as they are shorter then 3.1 meters, which can be fired over a distance between twenty and fourtyfive kilometers, depending on the rocket fired. With these, operations close to shore can be supported with long-ranged rocket fire.

Additionally, the Precision-II-class Gunboat was built with four additional 'balconies', positions on the superstructure designed for mounting heavy machine guns or SDY-Gabha SG-1 Mark III autocannons (which will not be included into the normal delivery).

History
First, the original classification as a 'gunboat' is a bit misleading: The Precision-II-class Gunboat is a vessel optimized for auxillary tasks in Brown Water environments, which can act as a submarine hunter and support riverine operations. It is neither a mainline combattant, nor a ship to intimidate an enemy.
That being said, the Precision-II-class Gunboat is SDY's answer to a request for development of the Federation of Kendor and its Navy. The Precision-I-class Gunboat, the spiritual predecessor, was disregarded as a impossible design, but as a good general concept.
Building up on that, Yard 15 began with the long development work. Designed from scratch, it took a while to decide on the specifics, especially since a hasty reaction by the forelady didn't give a lot of leeway in the ways of measurement adaption. During the construction, things such as adaptability to newer technologies was an important consideration as well.
Precision-II isn't a pretty design, but a reliable and easy one, fit for the future.

The SDF-Navy operates five Precision-II-class Gunboats, three (SDFS Faye, SDFS Gwen and SDFS Fiona) in the Oileánra-Archipelago and two (SDFS Ava and SDFS Amy) in the area of the Northern Islands.

The Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft is a heavy fast attack craft and light escort and patrol boat, capable of operating in blue, green and brown waters.
Spéirling means "violent windstorm" or "gale".

Design
The Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft is a simple, monohull steel construction, 400 tons in weight when fully loaded and equipped. The vessel is 50.1 meters long, has a beam of 8.55 meters and a draught of 2.2 meters when fully loaded, enabling the Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft to operate in Green Waters if need should arise.

The vessel is build with stealth measures in mind, but no dedicated stealth vessel. While the superstructure is build using radar absorbing synthetic materials with inclined flanks, the anchorhouse and all stairwells are placed inside, the Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft is far from being undetectable. Rather, the radar crosssection is reduced to the size of a smaller vessel, which will confuse the enemy.
The thermal signature is reduced as well, exhaust gases of the diesel generators are funneled through a series of smaller pipes instead of a large smokestack, their producers, the diesel generators themselves, resting on vibration absorbers for reduction of the acoustic signature of the Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft.

The Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft also features a mast atop the superstructure, which holds communication antennas and the air/surface search radar (which will be talked about in further detail below).

Propulsion
The Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft is powered by three Diesel Generators, each providing 4000 kilowatts of energy, which power the electrical engine driving the ship forward with its one shaft and a controllable pitch propller for enhanced maneuvreability and economic energy consumption.
The same generators also power all other systems aboard, from the radars to the stoves in the mess' kitchen.
This system, called an Integrated Electric Propulsion System (or IEP for short) saves fuel and maintenance costs, takes up less space and makes room for other things.
All three generators are, contrary to our usual practice, located in one generator room, aft.

Decoys
The Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft carries a Multi-Ammunition Softkill System Decoy Suite, or MASS for short.
The MASS, being connected to the sensor systems, mainly radar, uses the data to launch radar decoys operating on all relevant wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, confusing advanced, sensor-guided missiles. It can either be operated by a person or operate autonomously, protecting the vessel as second layer of defense.

Electronic Warfare
The Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft is equipped with a fully operational ECM suite, a system for Electronic Countermeasures. These systems are used to deceive and trick the enemy's means of detection, for example radar. Be they sonar decoys or radar jammers (Rasberry Jammers is the system we usually use), active ECM measures confuse the enemy's sensors, while passive measures include for example the jamming of the guidance systems of enemy missiles.
The Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft is equipped with both, making this the first layer of defense.

The Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft is equipped with a Nuacht N-13 Air/Surface Search Radar and a Nuacht N-38 Fire Control Radar.
The N-13 is a multi-purpose A-Band radar capable of detecting and tracking up to 450 targets in a range up to 500 kilometers in a height up to ten kilometers. The N-13 Mark III is a proven and tested radar, used in other vessels build by SDY, as was its predecessor, the N-13 Mark II.
The N-38 on the other hand is developed and optimized for the fight against incoming missiles and aircraft, using the data gathered by the radar to coordinate and adjust the defensive firepower of the CIWSs for maximum effectiveness. When hooked up with the Type 900 Datalink and the Artio Battlescape Network, it can coordinate the defensive firepower for maximum effectiveness. Its main function however is to track the ammunition fired by the T-12 for adjustments on the targets with the same data.

The Type 900 Datalink is a system for Duplex Communication in both directions in real time, processing said data in real time as well. Not only sensors and weapons are connected by this system, but virtually everything onboard the ship, from consoles on the bridge to the mobile coffee maker by the helipad. Personal Computers and gaming devices of the crew use another system, utilizing a satellite uplink and being diconnected from the Datalink in every way, shape and form imagineable.
To exemplify the processing power of the Type 900 Datalink: When the first prototype of the Type 900 was supposed to be tested, the corresponding department in Laclan hosted a LAN-party with roundabout ten thousand participants (4,157 at height) playing 25 different games - with the 'Local Area Network' reaching across the entirety of the Free Lands with no lags whatsoever.

Artio Battlescape Network Mark III-D
Another important system aboard the Precision-II-class Gunboat is the Artio Battlescape Network Mark III-D. Via directed data-transmission, each ship can share data by direct line of sight, around 40 kilometres due to the transmitters being placed on a specialized mast.
Although this system can be disrupted, albeit with a whole lot of difficulty, no one can listen in. The direct line of sight also requires, that no obstacles are between the transmission stations, which are kept in line by the Type 900. However, this range can be made next to unlimited by hooking up the whole system to a satellite, which can share the data needed without any problems.
Although normal telecommunication satellites can be used for this purpose, Silverport Dockyards Ltd. has made an invitation for bid to a few companies specialized in such things, hoping to be capable of offering a complete system with a specialized satellite by 2018. The Artio can be connected to major Battlescape Network Systems, but we highly recommend reading the manual.

The Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft is equipped with a multitude of weapons for a multitude of purposes, focussing on both defense and offense.
At both sides of the superstructure, the Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft carries two Ceantar C-84 Mark II 30mm CIWS, the last layer of defense against incoming missiles and, to a certain extend, aircraft within a range of seven kilometers. Gabha Blacksmiths Limited is currently developing a type of ammunition they dubbed as 'Missile Killer', which should be ready by 2018.
For both defensive and offensive purposes, the Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft carries a Túirín T-12 Mark II 76mm gun with two barrels on the foredeck, capable of acting as an auxillary AA-gun (and in fact, they already did, Fiagai-class Patrol Vessels of the SDF-Navy defended the Fleet during the Halfbakistani Intervention) and as an offensive weapon against all manner of targets, including, but not limited to, ships, shore installations and vehicles. Counting in, that the Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft can operate close to shores and even in large rivers, can carry a full section of commandos and is heavily armed, the Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft can be a valuable asset to any operation in internal waters.
Last, but most certainly not least, is the main offensive armament, namely eight box launchers for Anti-Ship Missiles. While we recommend the Type 40 Anti-Ship Missile, the box launchers can be equipped with any Anti-Ship Missile fitting inside. The boxes can be easily exchanged due to a new system of clamps, making it possible to easily shed the boxes when things have to be done really fast. Even untrained crews should be able to reload the missiles in record time from completely unsuited wharfs.

Additionally, the Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft has two 'balconies', positions on the superstructure designed for mounting heavy machine guns or SDY-Gabha SG-1 Mark III autocannons (which will not be included into the normal delivery).

History
The Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft began its life not with SDY.
In the late 80s, the SDF-Navy was searching for an replacement for the old Type 16 Torpedo Boats, SDY entered the competition with the Faolchu-I-class FAC, which is by now in the process of being replaced by or upgraded to Faolchu-II-class FACs.
One of our fiercest competitors was the Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft, build and developed by Longcheárta Shipyards in Tipa.
It was bigger then our design, but more versatile, being not only a Fast Attack Craft, but also a Light Escort Boat.
It was also more expensive, which was the deciding factor for SDF-Navy Fleet Administration to pick the Faolchu-class FAC.
With that competition over, the Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft tried its luck in a few other ones, but was never picked. Longcheárta Shipyards began to focus on civilian ship production instead of warships and became a subsidiary of ours in 2005, being swallowed whole in 2014. While Longcheárta Shipyards old yards became research facilities, their products were prepared to be incorporated into our product lines.
One of these designs was the Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft - we upgraded it with modern technologies, put more emphasis on its versatility and are now offering the Spéirling-class Fast Attack Craft again.
And the SDF-Navy is interested.

The Beag-class Aircraft Carrier is a light, nuclear powered fleetcarrier designed and produced by Silverport Dockyards Limited, once the largest ship in our entire catalogue, replacing the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier and the Glorium-class Command Ship in that function.

The term beag means "little" or "small" and is the name of the current Envoy of Lodan Lir.

Design
The Beag-class Aircraft Carrier is a classical monohull design, 260.8 meter in length overall, with a beam of 50.3 meters including flight deck and a draught of eight meters. in standard configuration, one vessel displaces 21,500 tons, while the loaded displacement is at 31,150 tons. The island, housing the bridge, staff rooms, radars and similar installations on the starboard side.

The Beag-class Aircraft Carrier is a nuclear powered vessel, having four reliable and tested Ga-17 Mark II Nuclear Reactors, further developed from the Ga-17 Nuclear Reactors in use aboard the Caorthann-class Polar Research Vessel. This further development mostly concerned the cooling systems, making it less reliant on the outer water and more on the primary and secondary cooling cycles, which work quite well.
Ships equipped with the Ga-17 Mark II produce 75 megawatts with each reactor, which basically work like nuclear reactors on land do as well: Heating water to produce steam, which power steam turbines to produce electrical power. The feed water, which is turned to steam, is pumped aboard, demineralised, and used.
90% enriched Uranium Fuel Cells need to be loaded as power cells. We also recommend employing experienced nuclear reactor technicians.
These nuclear reactors provide the power for all of the ships systems, from the engines to the radar to the catapults to the radios.
The vessel is driven by two shafts with controllable pitch propellers for more energy efficiency.

The Beag-class Aircraft Carrier is a conventional Catapult Assisted Take-Off But Arrested Recovery Carrier (CATOBAR for short) and has no ski-jump. Concept studies for a variation with a ski-jump are in the works.

Electronic Warfare
The Beag-class Aircraft Carrier is equipped with full suites for Electronic Countermeasures (ECM), Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and Electronic Protection (EP).
Electronic Countermeasures, or ECM for short, are used to deceive and trick enemy means of detection and ultimately not having a guided missile slam into the ship's side. Be they sonar decoys or radar jammers (Rasberry Jammers is the system we usually use), active ECM measures confuse the enemy's sensors, while passive measures include for example the jamming of the guidance systems of enemy missiles.
Electronic Support Measures meanwhile detect, intercept, identify, locate, record and analyze sources of radiated electromagnetic energy (for example radar) for threat recognition and other purposes, amongst them intelligence information. With these information, a commander can make the tactical and, if necessary, strategic decisions needed. It also provides the means necessary to gather information about the Electronic Warfare Systems of the enemy either in order to avoid an attack or to attack more effectively.
With Electronic Protection (EP), or Electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM), the ship is hardened against every kind of electronic attack, for example against scrambling and jamming. This allows to attack the enemy even when he feels safe with his jammers in place and activated.

Chiefly amongst the radars of the Beag-class Aircraft Carrier are the two Nuacht N-13 Mark II Air/Surface Search Radars. As a combined radar, it combines an air-surveillance and a surface search radar into one. Despite being originally developed for the use on far smaller ships, it quickly prooved to be as effective on large ships as it is on smaller ones.
While the Beag-class Aircraft Carrier also has four N-38 Fire Control Radars and one N-4 Navigation Radar for finding the way, the other core of the radar suite are the two Digital Carrier Surveillance Radars. Secondary mode as weather surveillance radars, triple redundant systems,

Decoys
In order to defend itself against threats without the need for usiing up ammunition, the Beag-class Aircraft Carrier is equipped with a multitude of defensive systems, namely a Multi-Ammunition Softkill System or MASS and two chaff-launchers, as well as two torpedo decoy launchers.
The MASS is connected to the sensor systems, mainly radar, and uses the data to launch radar decoys operating on all relevant wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, confusing advanced, sensor-guided missiles. It can either be operated by a person or operate autonomously.
For the less advanced radar-guided missiles, the Beag-class Aircraft Carrier is equipped with two chaff launchers, sending out far more primitive radar decoys, which will not only confuse the missile's radar, but also the enemy's radar as well.
To counter torpedoes, especially those of the acoustic-homing variety, the Beag-class Aircraft Carrier has a Torpedo Decoy Launcher, which send out something, which makes a lot of noise, which, in return, directs the torpedo into the decoy and not into the ship.

Aviation Facilities
The Beag-class Aircraft Carrier is, due to its nature as an aircraft carrier, without superstructure safe for the island, but has a long flight deck. Angled off of the ship's axis by eight degrees, the 166 meters long by 29 meters wide flight deck is the core of any and all capabilities of the Beag-class Aircraft Carrier.
The flight deck has two catapults, both being 30 meters long Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS for short), which provide a more reliable, easier to maintain and operate way of launching aircraft then steam catapults, which is far more energy efficient then the predecessors. The forward catapult is to port on the bow, while the other is on the angled landing deck.
The Beag-class Aircraft Carrier has four elevators, two for aircraft and two for ammunition and equipment, one of each paired together. The forward elevator is to starboard, while the rear elevator is positioned on the edge of the deck to safe space in the hangar underneath. The flight deck is capable of handling VTOLs of any variety, fixed wing aircraft and helicopters.
Said hangar's dimensions are 155 meters by 20 to 24 meters with a height of seven meters.

The Beag-class Aircraft Carrier is heavily armed for self-defense, making the vessel capable of defending itself if push should come to shove, but we still recommend having the vessel escorted by a battlegroup (see, for examples, the Bundles below).
The defensive systems, mostly focussing on the defense against air threats like aircraft or missiles, are grouped in three layers:
    First layer: ECM and Decoys.
      The first layer is the most technologically sophisticated layer, relying on tricking and deceit of the enemy's missiles for defense, saving both ammunition and lifes as these systems stop incoming missiles before they can even be a threat.
    Second Layer: Four Ceantar C-44 Mark II 40mm AA-guns
      The second layer are the guns with the most range, C-44 Mark II 40mm AA-guns, although the term 'AA-gun' is a slight misnomer: Although the C-44 Mark I was a dedicated AA-gun, the Mark II is a multipurpose gun, which can be used against aircraft, incoming missiles and small watercraft.
      The four guns and their turrets, two each on port and starboard, are designed to be controlled by external fire control systems, like for example the Nuacht N-38 Fire Control Radar, and linked to these via the Type 900 Datalink, which provides the target data needed to adjust the gun at its target. While it is a fully automatic system, the gun can be controlled manually by an external operator using the mounted camera as his 'scope'. He (or she) would then release a 40mm shell onto his target by the tap of a button.
    Third Layer: Two Ceantar C-84 Mark II 30mm CIWS and two Ceantar C-78 Mark II 23-cell RAMs
      The last and third layer are two C-84 Mark II CIWS and two C-78 Mark II 23-cell RAMs. The Ceantar C-84 Mark II is the first system of this layer, a semi-autonomous missile defense system spewing 30mm shells at any incomiing missile or any aircraft coming too close for it's own comfort. The Ceantar C-78 Mark II is a Rolling Airframe Missile System, basically responsible for the same thing, but longer ranged and with more power behind the shot, capable of destroying most incoming Anti-Ship Missiles in one shot. This system is controlled and aimed by the onboard computers, using data from the larger radars, provided, again, by the Type 900 Datalink.

Air Group
The Beag-class Aircraft Carrier has facilities to handle up to fifty aircraft at any given time, but the exact number of aircraft depend on their type and size. These aircraft can be fixed-wing aircraft, VTOLs and helicopters, which makes the Beag-class Aircraft Carrier capable of supporting amphibious assaults more directly.
Thanks to the EMALS Catapults, the Beag-class Light Aircraft Carrier can launch larger and heavier aircraft then their size would lead on, as well as drones of varying sizes.

History
The SDF-Navy had a long tradition of naval aviation, equipping their larger ships with floatplanes in 1931 and building a seaplane tender, the SDFC Faoileán. She was rebuild as a helicopter carrier in 1954 and decommissed in 1974 - with only land-based aircraft and ship-based helicopters, the SDF-Navy was a bit ill-prepared for modern naval combat, more focussing on operations in home waters then overseas.
There were plans to acquire an aircraft carrier, popping up every once in a while, but while some went indeed into the design-phase, nothing really came from it.
Then came the Battle of Marley Bay and the desastrous results of the Halfblakistani Expedition in general, after which the SDF-Navy realized, that they were gpoing to need a ship capable of projecting naval air power, if they were to represent the Free Land's interests abroad.
Planning began for mighty fleet carriers, helicopter carriers and light fleet carriers - one proposal became the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier.
Due to budget constraints, the SDF-Navy decided to acquire the Sealgaire-class Helicopter Carrier, while SDY continued the AC-6, by now the Beag-class Aircraft Carrier, on their own. In 2015, a shore-mockup was commissioned to test the EMALS-Catapults and a few aircraft of domestic design, amongst them the Stuama-Prototypes.
In 2016, the Beag-class Aircraft Carrier was cleared for export and was offered to customers.

The Majestic-class Boat is a result of the request for development of the Swasoms Knight Navy to Silverport Dockyards Limited. As a small sailing boat, it is not only to be used as the patrol vessel it was intended to be, but also as a pinnace for larger yachts, as a fishing boat from small harbours, both private and economic, and in a wide variety of roles, both commercial, governmental and private.
The Majestic-class Boat is distributed by Silverport Dockyards Limited and was developed in cooperation between Yard 15 and Bád Industries Limited, who usually build and produce the pinnaces and yawls of SDY-vessels, be they military or civilian.

Design
The Majestic-class Boat is a monohull design, sixteen meters long (not including the bowsprit, which can be folded), with a beam of 4.8 meters and a draught of 1.4 meters (centreboard not included). The hull is built of fibreglass with aluminium masts and booms, while the deck is planked, generally v-shaped with a hard chine and a square stern, stabilized by a centreboard in place of a keel.
Steering power is provided by both the sails themselves and a hydraulic steering gear mounted immediately forward of the transom. For additional propulsion in case of a windless day, the Majestic-class Boat comes with davits and a push plate astern capable of holding a dinghy. Between the davits, provisions for carrying a small hydrographic dipping sonar or fishing sonar are fitted. Along the sides, the Majestic-class Boat carries provisions to be equipped with additional fishing equipment.
Ahead of the mast, a watertight hatch leads into the larger room of the inner workings of the Majestic-class Boat, mainly into the areas used for housing passengers, equipment, stores and the crew of the vessel, four people being completely sufficient to operate the vessel. Abaft of the mast, a second small hatch leads into a second, far smaller room to be used as a storeroom, both for cargo and passengers, as well as a maintenance access to the rudder and the secondary power generator.

The rigging is, according to a foreign sailing expert seeing the prototype at work, typically for a sloop with one jib and one jib-headed mainsail, both on the twenty-three meters high mast with a long boom. Provisions to climb the mast as seen necessary are provided, especially since at the top both a flag and a satellite uplink for both data transmissions and GPS are fitted, as well as a radio antenna.
Power aboard is generated by the same measure as the ship is driven forward: Wind. A small wind generator with a diameter of one meter is fitted on top of the mast, providing the power for all the systems aboard and storing unneeded power in a battery pack underneath the mast. As a secondary power source, the vessel is fitted with a small Hydrogenerator, capable of extracting up to 450 Watts from the forward motion of the vessel, when the centreboard is lowered.
The Majestic-class Boat can be maintained with little to no naval facilities, most of its mechanical and electrical equipment is designed to be maintained by a car mechanic, if necessary, and with its light weight, the Majestic-class Boat can be pulled ashore relatively easily.

History
People say, that as much as Selkie are born for the saddle, they are born for the sea – and from the sea as well, if the old myths are true.
As such, Selkie always had a deep connection to the sea and to seafaring, braving the oceans when others merely trudged along their homely short and never left land out of sight.
For millennia, wind and sails were the only ways of propulsion any kind of vessel had besides rowers, until engines of steam and fuel and electricity came along and made the old methods obsolete in almost every occupation – almost.
In certain areas, be it geographic areas or economic, sailing boats were kept and are still used, although mostly for recreation. As such, we never really went out of business when it came to building sailing boats, but as the Majestic-class Boat took shape, it was a bit of a challenge due to the unique needs of the customer.
This specific class of boats is based on the Seol, a type of sail-fishing vessel still used along the shores of the Free Lands and the Archipelago, as well as up in Northern Islands with a few modifications. The originals were, and sometimes still are as traditional craftsmen still build their boats in accordance with their inherited knowledge and skill, of wood, nails and corresponding materials.
The design was adopted and modified by Bád Industries Limited in accordance with the needs of the Swasoms Knight Navy and Silverport Dockyards Limited, who is including them into the offers for all appropriate civilian vessels as dinghies, side-boats and yawls.
As news of the new boat spread in the corresponding circles in the Free Lands, several orders were placed by private persons.
