And Bobrovsky to the Panthers for $10mil a year for seven years. Worth it or is it something that'll lead to a lot of trouble?

Tarsonis wrote:Can we get the thread updated?

Second. Or even a new megathread with a more active OP? No disrespect intended by the way, Kaboomlandia me old china.

The Bob deal is in par with Hank and Holtby. I don’t think it was a bad deal, bobrovsky is a monster

Edit: as for the thread I’ll give it a week. No movement and I’ll make a new thread.

Still in shock over the Kessel trade but its not like he's going to get better. The Penguins seem to be going for speed like they should but when Kessel is the first one off the iceberg you gotta do a long af double-take

Maybe so but it's just a question of whether or not they'd be able to pay of their any other stars. Or, more accurately, if they'd be able to keep anyone good other than Ekblad and Bobrovsky.

Tarsonis wrote:Edit: as for the thread I’ll give it a week. No movement and I’ll make a new thread.

I'd still say make a new thread but maybe around the start of pre-season or something. Especially if Kaboomlandia's OK with it, which I imagine he should be since this means we've got a more active OP.

F. The longer version of which is how Blue Jackets fans felt afterward.

Either that series loss to the Caps really hit the Pens hard (even though they were struggling all season but shush) or they're planning a bold strategy to make up for the past couple of seasons and, either for cap space or because he doesn't fit the plan, they decided to trade him on. On the upside, he does have a couple of cups to his name so him going to the Wesleys isn't as bad.

Anyway, Rangers are in cap hell right now with signing Panarin and Trouba. Anybody else struggling?

Mitch Marner soaks the Leafs at 10.8 per year. Toronto is in cap hell for the next decade.

Could be worse, like if there was a no-trade or no-movement clause thrown in there. But seriously, Leafs, hopefully you can get some good players on the cheap, whether they be rentals, picks or minor-leaguers, because otherwise you might as well trade places with the Marlies.
