Why don't we keep the name of the International Union and merely redesign the organization?

That would seemingly be best. Create an Alliance Admin account, then when MEF comes back, give him the password with the understanding that if he disappears again, to not change the password so other people can maintain the alliance.

That is what I have been thinking but Validu seems content on merging the IU into another organization.

This is the type of stuff that causes strife between us older nations and you younger nations. most of us older nations do tone down things when we roleplay with younger nations, as I normally only deploy small contingents of troops and smaller battlegroups for my navy. Unless suddenly I am flanked by multiple nations with multiple ships then I bring out a few more to support my already deployed forces.
