President Jackson
CIA Headquarters, Langley, Virginia, US.
March 4 2020, 10:00 PM
I stood in the briefing room, in what was possibly the most secretive building in the world, overlooking several individuals, "...In short, I want you all to piece together what is happening in Europe, and who is behind the threat to both our government and others. I am giving you all, permission to go to what ever lengths necessary to find out what you need to. Good luck, and God speed." With those parting words I was escorted out of the building, leaving the future of the civilised world in the hands of the few who sat in that room.

???
I watched the president walk out, then turned to my logistical handler, "World's going to shit again it seems."

They in turn replied to me, "I have an idea on where you ought to go first."

I raised an eyebrow in response, "And where might that be?"

They smiled, "Dubrovnik."

Alrick and Heamet had been walking and hitching rides every once in a while to get to the south of France faster.
Eventually, after a while, they started teleporting from place to place to go even faster.

Of course, they still took quite some time as they stopped every once in a while to watch the scenery.
They stopped first while climbing a hill to watch the river and trees, the life of the place they were in.

"You know... As much as I've said I didn't like France.
Which is true in its own way.
But honestly, if I can continue to see places like this, I don't want that Atlas dickwad to break the world only to mend it again.

I think I'm going to fight him, just to protect the possible scenery we could lose.
Just wait here for a moment, you'll get what I mean." He closed his eyes and laid down in the grass.

Heamet looked at the place with a blank look in his face, something that changed rather quickly after feeling the small breeze on himself.

"Yeah.
It's pretty innit.
Calm mostly.
I'd live there if I could.
Or just camp.
All the family camping together, around a fire, grilling some stuff.

Yeah... It'd be nice." He responded and sat down.
"Let's hope that Atlas doesn't fuck everything up because he believed that a girl that was learning how to use his powers was threatened.
Him going alpha male still seems completely ridiculous to me.
It doesn't make sense that someone like him would start going like that.
Even if she did start crying on his shoulder, pledging vengeance on people who weren't even aware of what was happening just feels flat out like some shit story.
Tad stupid too.
I'm sure the idiot's thinking like a depressive and angry person, yelling at us for random things that happen in his life, big or small, just looking for someone to blame for all his miseries.
Because mister started having visions of the end of the world he starts thinking he is holding everyone's problems.
What a bunch of bullshit." He continued, he wasn't angry however, he almost seemed sad in some way.

"Meh...
Honestly, I'm trying to see the world through his eyes but I can't see how it's possible since they're so far up his ass." He laughed lightly before continuing.
"On a serious note... I can't see how somehow having a dream about the end of the world is making him so...
Well, so like him.
I don't get it, I can't even read him either because he constantly hides between some layer of armor.
However, I shouldn't be the one saying that, being the coward that hides behind something so deep and magical that almost nothing can even make some kind of dent unless tons of ammo is wasted on it.
I haven't felt true pain in a while honestly, I can't even remember how it feels like." He sighed and closed his eyes.
"The world is shit as always."

Heamet nodded before speaking up again.

"Well, I wouldn't recommend it, even if I absorb everything, I feel pain when hit with anything.
If I get strangled, which is near impossible due to the nature of my power, I feel the lack of air, my throat almost bursting.
If I get shot, I feel the bullet entering me before it leaves, the pain is indescribable.
Even if I can hold off pain for a while, inside, I'm just yelling to the death.
Missiles are the worst, that's how someone can manage to kill me, or at least incapacitate me.

You can just make the pain go away by getting your actual body in another dimension.
Yet, I can't wait for someone to finally get how we can be killed or hurt in general.
Somehow something that would be a fair fight.
We haven't had that in years.
My brother used to be able to hold me off, he even beat me on some occasions.
He would've killed me if those weren't mock fights.
I never actually managed to win, only ties.
Two hundred and seventy five ties, five defeats... And... One death.
Which is when he died for me, he pushed me away when there were several carbonadium bullets going for me.
He took them all and killed the ones going for me, and lost his life in the process.
Before he died, he gave me his 'will' of sorts.
His potential for the Ripple and Spin.
He was a true demon when he fought, I kinda miss him at times, but I know he's around, somehow looking over me.
Plus, if anything, you became my brother of sorts." Heamet explained calmly through a smile.

Alrick hit Heamet on the back of the head by a stretch of his arm through the Ripple.

"Stop saying meaningful shit.
Let's go, we don't have all day either.
I'll keep that in mind however.
I won't forget that." He spoke, getting back up and ready for a portal.

"Yeah. Let's go Gramps.
We have to go back home." Saying those words, he created a portal to the breach of Roland, where Durandal supposedly still stood, however, he sent a clone of himself to accompany Alrick, it could react, so he wouldn't know what happened.
However, his actual body needed to go and do something.
Something to stop Terra Nova.
He left France shortly after and reappeared in Finland, as soon as he reached his lab, he started conducting searches through his internet servers to know everything there was to know about the organization.
Hopefully, he wouldn't be caught, if anything, he'd be considered as some random citizen who had managed to get some data on the organization.

'My future depends on me, I cannot let this one happen.
Even if I need to go like this and hide from everyone, I have to save my future.' He thought as he started entering the databases.

The Man with a Plan
I broadcast to agents V, H, Q and J a single message: "Begin Phase 3"

Agent Q, a lakeside facility, Deep in the Amazon
Within the recesses of a newly finished facility in the middle of the amazon, directly on the equator, laid the base of what was going to be the world's first space elevator, all that was needed was for Phase 3 to be completed. and I planned to do just that. "Mother, please align and load all ODIN Platfoms for rapid fire at the following coordinates." I typed in the location of several locations in which a large military presence was detected, "After your done that I want you to disable NORAD, and VKO, then proceed to wait for my command."

the AI replied, "Acknowledged."

A channel opened to al military radio and satellite frequencies in the northern hemisphere, Mother would be translating it into appropriate languages, "This is a message to all military personnel in Earth's northern hemisphere, throw down your arms, and desert your country's military. To those soldiers leaders you have 48 hours to decommission at least %90 of your military, or it will be decommissioned for you." the broadcast cut out, hopefully they would listen.

Heamet looked up from his screens and heard the message.

"Finland's going to throw it down first, however, their intelligence system will remain just like the rest of the Nordics, new Lareylis base, Iceland.
Finnish manor deserted at the exception of me.
Stone and Naunet are going to start making the manor in Iceland, officially, I cannot be tracked anymore and certified dead." He modified his identity and modified his status to dead, he made the death look almost like and accident, framing Terra Nova.
In a few minutes, the news of Heamet's 'death' would start showing up in the news.
For now, cybernetic warfare was the only solution.
He had scanned the profile of one of their operatives, Osteo, he had to rummage through a lot of files, but managed to get what his assets were, he had seen the man before, in front of a Cerberus base.

"Now Alrick is one the verge of finding Durandal, Teos is on the verge of appearing on every nation's radars as a several lightyears away planet, yet inhabited by a significant number of metas with an extremely high tech level on some parts." He spoke to himself as he continued to rummage through dozens of files.
However, after noticing that the organization had files on his family, he continued his search on the latter and eventually found that Alrick's weakness was in there.
The metal in itself seemingly was just an assumption and it felt like they had no idea if it was true.
Chances were Atlas spoke of it at some point.

He found that Naunet had a file as well, however she wasn't listed as dangerous compared to Alrick or himself.
And apparently, Màen had one as well.
However, the they didn't know much about her, as she didn't show much of her potential, for now, she simply had the information that she could handle the suction of a black hole for several minutes.

However, just to be completely sure, he deleted both their files and his, as he technically wasn't in circulation anymore.

Mother
Interesting, someone has successfully infiltrated our cyberspace without my notice, impressive, however he forgot to cover his tracks, disappointing. Within seconds the terminal Heamet had been working on, as well as anything remotely connected to it either through hard-line or wireless connection, had all info pulled from it, and every device was bricked, leaving them just expensive paper weights and all screens displaying a smiley face emoticon in the middle with the message 'Get fucked.' written underneath. The info I found was quite curious and provided even more insight into what the Laurylis' had going on. It also had the locations of several Aegis safehouses. It also showed info of hacking attempts into several other databases, and the modification of Heamet Laurylis' medical file. It would be made hilariously clear that cyber-warfare with Terra Nova was not an option.

(OOC:Honestly I'm surprised you forgot about Mother, Serah.)

Is that like, European Board of Military Police or..." she would have gestured with an open hand in Nightjar's direction to indicate a desire for explanation if her hands where not bond. The question showed just how detached from the world outside the secure cells Marsha had become.

"You would like our founder. She is very anti-killing... and no, no paperwork. I would rather keep this all off the books for reasons which will hopefully become apparent in the very near future... and no, it is the European Bureau of Metahuman Policing... close."

She paused, steepling her fingers thoughtfully, "I will freely admit - we need you." she added, "I am not going to screw with you, I make a point of not screwing with meta-humans... though if you try some dirty trick on me I will not hesitate to shoot you, repeatedly. "Don't worry, it paid off. Now I have some information about the rest of the world." She said in between squeals.

As Shane started to speak, she calmed down slightly as Màen tried her hardest to hold her laughter.

She explained with a bright smile.

On the other hand, Wayther apologized to Ris as well for his behavior.

"The French government invited me, as a representative of the organization of which caught the offenders of this act trying to hire them to perform instead of them, and acted with the GIGN to stop it. As for the Laurylis', they're all Finnish citizens, and France doesn't allow dual citizenship, therefore they're only French in ethnicity, as for Heamet being caught in the act, I was acting under pretense that a) he was associated with Aegis, the suspected proprietors of the attack at the time, and b) has been known to associate with a known bio-terrorist Laurel Alaunus, of which whom also associated with Aegis leadership from time to time. "

"But right now we need to focus on other things, most importantly the location of the former leadership of Aegis, due to the EBMP being the succeeded byproduct of Aegis, chances are you are in possession of records that list their former domiciles, in turn may hint to there whereabouts. Those records should be released to aid in the manhunt to catch the perpetrators."

Crow and Donnie looked at one another. "Uh......yes, ma'am." Donnie opened the trunk of the car. "Watch yer 'ead!" He shut the trunk slowly. The trio then got back into the car and continued onwards.

The mute waited at the rendezvous, where the two idiots would deliver some stiff and some other poor sod. The man didn't know his crime, but whatever it was, it must've been bad to have the Cobra send everything he has at you. He waited, dressed like a tramp, covered in filth and soiled rags. Soon, the Crow and the Irishman would here.

Before long, a car finally parked not far from him, and the familiar pair stepped out, as well as a third man he didn't recognize. Blake, he thought. "Wolfe, we got the lass in the trunk. I'd keep it shut, never know who'll be watching." The smuggler nodded. Crow and Donnie both turned and went off down the street, where they would soon part ways. Crow 'dropped' something near the boot of the car. He quickly leaned over to it as subtly as possible. "Good luck, lass. I've got a Damn good feeling you'll be needing it." He quickly got back up and the two continued on.

The Wolfe took the keys and then took over at the wheel, Blake sitting in the passenger seat. They'd take the car all the way to Chicago, occasionally stopping to switch vehicles if necessary. Wolfe was a seasoned smuggler, and knew the route like the back of his hand.

*
The pair would later meet up at El Den De Serpientes to celebrate later that night over a few beers.

*
In Chicago, the assassin supreme dashed across the rooftops of the city, heading towards the address stated. He would not make a mistake this time. He would be swift and deadly.

'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!' She shouted internally.
'The diabeetus! AAAAAAAARGH!' She truly had a thing with cats, if the gods hadn't been there, she would probably be surrounded by cats at her home.

"Don't worry, it paid off. Now I have some information about the rest of the world." She said in between squeals.

As Shane started to speak, she calmed down slightly as Màen tried her hardest to hold her laughter.

"Well, news from the outside... Paris blew up, lots of bones all around, we could make a spooky skeleton show, Eiffel tower is down just as London bridge is... The Arc of Triumph got sent at least twenty feet into the air apparently...
Shit's happening in Europe with Murphy trying to defend Aegis.
Alrick's gone to find home...
The Nordic countries, the Balkans except Estonia because they're dicks and some west European countries are still cool with us and still support us, apparently, America didn't yet have the balls to put something up in air spaces around the Aegis union.
However we don't know jack about what's in space for now so we might just be sitting ducks as Mother may just make a bar of platinum and tungsten on our asses.

Aaaand I think that's it.
By the way, we have full military support from the nations up there.
So we might be cool for a while, but it'd be nice to act or settle everything out."
She explained with a bright smile.

On the other hand, Wayther apologized to Ris as well for his behavior.

"Just remember we don't, officially, have ranks anymore." Shane added, "The plan is to lay low, build up our power base. Sooner or later the enemy we are facing will have to emerge from the shadow an hopefully we will have the capacity to resist..." there was a pause, his eye twitched slightly, "Back up... Alrick has gone to find home?"[/quote]

Naunet nodded.

"Yes, Teos.
The Lareylis clan's homeworld.
It's several light-years away and can only be accessed by magic if you don't want to spend the next ten hundred thousand years waiting on a spaceship.
He should be in the south of France.
Don't worry however, he's undetectable.
Doesn't have a phone, plus he's in the astral mode.
He's just off to find Durandal." She explained calmly.
"Once he opens the way, I'd say we move Aegis, or at least what remains of it, inside.
Since the only ones that have rights are us, due to the fact we are native to this land and that our father is the god creator of it, no one, especially not Terra Nova or the SCP will ever be able to do anything.
And if you ask why I know so much, it's because we've already went there once."

Heamet pulled himself out just in time and the files he had modified ended up staying that way.
If anything, only the robot would know.
However, he had to bail out of the place, so he did the only logical thing.

Confining himself in the training room, which was quite equal to a temporal room in some way.
It distorted the flow of time around it, making the user quite hard to find.

"Alright, I've at least saved some stuff, they don't know about Teos, they don't know about Dad nor Wayther, but they know a little more about Màen.
Like the fact she can use some quite powerful runes, such as wormhole ones.
Shite... But at least they don't know everything.
I'll just cover my tracks some more." He mumbled to himself.

Harbertia wrote:"The EBMP? I've never heard of you- though at this point I suppose that's of little concern- so long as I don't have to do paper work, or kill- I'll be just fine." the offer of freedom was hard not to accept, but Marsha didn't want this Nightjar to know that. She'd say more to sell her self, but even that would come off as desperate. "That's not an agreement, like I said, I don't know an EBMP.

I, unlike our founder, do not have an issue with necessary bloodshed. For normals, like myself, the stakes are higher."

Marsha would have found humor had Nightjar not ended on a serious note. Marsha's face was focused- if she turned down this offer their was no way she'd get another one- she doubted anyone knew where she was. Even with such vagueness- the choice she had to make was obvious. She'd learn of the world's state and this EBMP after she was out of this place. As Nightjar had put it, 'become apparent in the very near future'. "Fine," she said agitated as she needed to resist the pressure in some way, "I'll help 'police'. Tell me where to go, and what to do, and I'll do it." she was seated more ridged then before- disciplined like. Just as she was with those crooks.
A light in casing is still a light.
Tomorrow is made today.
