Description: The Valopian is the last derivative of proven Valor Super attack helicopter being developed in Nawaganny. It features a four-bladed main rotor powered by two T800-RE-481C engines.

The Pander K-1

Description: The Pander K-1 has an indigenous design for a dedicated attack helicopter equipped with armour plates, advanced sensors and weapons. Externally, the aircraft resembles the South Africa's Rooivalk and Italy's A129 attack helicopters. The Pander K-1 has a five-blade main rotor driven by two turboshaft engines and a four-bladed tail rotor. The two-man crew seats in tandem with the gunner in the front seat and the pilot in the back seat. The Trillion

Description: The Trillion was developed as a durable and versatile attack/assault helicopter in the late 1980s. Equipped with wingtip mounted countermeasures and a mast-mounted millimetre wave radar in addition to the nose radome infrared/laser sight system already introduced on the Trillion. The Mosquito

Description: The Mosquito is a twin-turbine engine, armoured, attack helicopter was designed to defeat the most advanced main battle tanks at standoff ranges. It employs a combination of advanced sensors and KDagger anti-tank missiles (up to 20), as well as a 40mm nose-mounted M230 chain gun (1,900 rounds) and 80mm (up to 90) unguided rockets. It is capable of operation at night, in darkness, and in adverse weather, even in presence of obscurants

Surveillance Helicopters

Owl K-YA

Description: The Owl K-YA Horizon system is operational with the Shaowden Army. The helicopter surveillance system was originally developed to counter any possible threat by the tank fleets of the Suckle Pact countries. It Brings emphasis to the importance of Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (C3I) and the role of the heliborne surveillance radar.

The helicopter is equipped with a long-range multi-mode retractable pulse Doppler radar. A rotating antenna is carried beneath the fuselage. The radar range is 800km with the helicopter operating at an altitude of 4,000m and a cruise speed of 180km/h. The radar scans a ground area of 40,000km² over a depth of 200km in 10 seconds and the data is transmitted to a ground station. For moving targets the radar provides a speed resolution of the target of 4m/s.

Description: The Phantom Bird is equipped with an hydraulic hoist rated at 600lb. The radar is the Telephonics RDR-1500B. Thales Defence RNAV-2 navigation system, Thales Defence Doppler 91 and Cossor STR2000 Global Positioning System. With the helicopter configured in the search-and-rescue role, the cabin can accommodate up to 22 survivors or nine stretchers and two medical officers.

Heavy Lift Helicopters

The Juggernaut

Description: The Juggernaut is a powerhouse of helicopters. It's is powered by two turboshaft engines, mounted on either side of the helicopter's rear end and connected to the rotors by driveshafts. Initial models were fitted with engines of 2,200 horsepower. The counter-rotating rotors eliminate the need for an anti-torque vertical rotor, allowing all power to be used for lift and thrust. The ability to adjust lift in either rotor makes it less sensitive to changes in the center of gravity, important for the cargo lifting role. If one engine fails, the other can drive both rotors.

Its huge cargo hold can carry up to 28,000 lb (12,700 kg), or up to 55 people. With its massive frame and high load weight it still manges to perform a staggering 170 knots (196 mph, 315 km/h) at top speed making it ideal for combat missions.

The KDagger Missile

The precision-strike semiactive laser (SAL)-guided KDagger missile system defeats advanced armour and urban point targets in the presence of severe electro-optical countermeasures, with minimal collateral damage. It can be launched from multiple air, sea, and ground platforms, autonomously or with remote designation. KDagger is a highly successful, combat-proven weapon system for precision kill of high-value armour, air defence, ships, waterborne, and fixed targets. The missile may be employed by lock-on before or lock-on after launch for increased platform survivability. Four variants of the SAL KDagger are (1) the high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) missile, or AGM-114K, which defeats all known and projected armoured threats; (2) the AGM-114M blast fragmentation missile, which is effective against primary target sets such as boats, buildings, bunkers and light-armored vehicles; (3) the metal augmented charge missile, or AGM-114N, which defeats enclosures, caves and enemy personnel housed therein; and (4) the recently introduced augmented HEAT warhead, AGM-114K-A, which adds blast fragmentation to the HEAT warhead's anti-tank capability, providing precision strike against soft targets in the open.The four variants can all be carried on and fired from the all-digital M299 launcher, giving HELLFIRE II the capability to engage multiple targets simultaneously. The Mosquito Kdagger missile (AGM-114L) has a millimeter-wave (MMW) sensor and a HEAT warhead, providing fire-and-forget and adverse weather capability against armored targets.

Tiger Missile

The Tiger Wire-guided heavy anti-tank missile is produced by Galloway Systems LTD. The weapon is used in anti-armour, anti-bunker, anti-fortification and anti-amphibious landing roles. TOW is in service with over 45 armed forces and is integrated on over 15,000 ground, vehicle and helicopter platforms worldwide.

The missile has command to line-of-sight guidance. The weapons operator uses a telescopic sight to view a point on the target and then fires the missile. The missile has a two-stage ATK (Alliant Techsystems) solid propellant rocket motor. The operator continues to view and track the target through the sight. Guidance signals from the guidance computer are transmitted along two wires, which spool from the back of the missile to the control system on the missile. The Chandler Evans CACS-2 control system uses differential piston type actuators.

Sidewinder Missile

The Sidewinder is a supersonic missile, with a speed of Mach 2.5. A typical design, the AIM-9L, has a length of 2.85 m (9.4 ft), a 1-18 km range, depending on weather conditions, and carries a 9.4 kg blast-fragmenting payload. he Sidewinder uses an infra-red (IR) detector based on lead sulfide. When lead sulfide is exposed to heat energy, it reduces the compound’s electrical resistance, an example of photo conductivity. This decrease in resistance can be measured as linked to an action, for instance changing the trajectory of a missile in mid-flight.

In the nose of a Sidewinder, a reflecting mirror points forward, reflecting heat energy from a distant target to the IR detector. The Sidewinder must be roughly pointed in the direction of the target; otherwise it will see nothing and just plow straight ahead. If the target is in its sights, it can measure what angle the heat source is from the direction of its travel. The pitch and yaw of the missile is modified based on the degree of the angle.

The Sidewinder also anticipates the flight path of the target by using a mechanically-based tracking system which “remembers” past measurements and projects them forward, causing the missile to fly a course called proportional pursuit. This allows the missile to “lead” the target, much as a quarterback throws a ball where he thinks a receiver will be by the time the ball arrives, rather than throwing it directly from the start. This is much more efficient than direct pursuit, where the missile simply flies in the current direction of the target.
