The death penalty was formally abolished in 1984, seven years after the end of the Repression period.

Yes we do have the death penatly. Traitors, serial killers, rapists, and deserters all recive the death penalty. These cases are normally long and interesting as we make sure that not a single piece of evidence is left behind to either prosecute the criminal or prove their innocence.

Mechanocratic Russia uses the death penalty for treason. Every other crime results in either a docking of food ration tickets or a Gulag sentence of variable length depending on the severity of the crime (jaywalking, for example, results in the docking of one day's food ration tickets for the individual, while first-degree murder results in a twenty-five year Gulag sentence). We do not have prisons, since we firmly believe that all human beings are useful to the State in one capacity or another and it strikes us as peculiar that most Western nations give their criminals free hospitality and burden the law-abiding citizen with the costs of their upkeep...

We also pride ourselves in being the only country that executes its traitors using entirely environmentally-friendly means. We only use three methods: hanging, beheading and immurement, none of which require any non-reusable resources. Sometimes we don't even bother with those, since a nearby cliff or a tall building will do the job just as effectively. It also seems odd to us that other nations use methods such as firing squad, electrocution and lethal injection, none of which are at all efficient and where the resources required could be used for far better means than offing the dregs of society.

The death penalty was formally abolished in 2007, while the last execution of a prisoner sentenced to death was carried out in 2002.

From 1990-2007 Ronandia executed a total of 4 convicts, all of whom were terminated via lethal injection as one of only two legal and humane methods of termination. The second method of execution is by firing squad, and is available only at the the subject's request.

Depending on the quality of the accused's lawyer, maybe. Almost any crime can land one with a sentence of variable length in a forced-labour camp, however a particularly bad lawyer can land one with an execution. Hangings, beheadings, and firing squads are all still in widespread use across the country. Normally only undesirables receive executions, though.

No, ever since the Federal Republic of Byzanthia was founded, we have outlawed the Death Penalty. But when the Empire of Byzanthia existed, the Death Penalty was legal.

Murderers are killed by the death penalty. Other offenders are rehabilitated, have jail time, or must pay a fine.

The government of Gandoor abolished the death penalty in 2003, following a popular referendum in which 86% of the voting populace voted to abolish it. The last person executed in Gandoor was executed in 2003 and at the time it was abolished, three people were still on death row. All three of them had their sentences commuted to the current maximum sentence, 70 years in prison.

On the federal level it is outlawed, and all other states but one no longer have capital punishment.

That one state is the Grand Duchy of Hesse; It has an article in their constitution that permits the use of the death penalty.

Delkoran law permits the use of the death penalty for capital murder and treason, although in practice it is almost never used. Nobody has been executed in Delkora since 1959, when Lars Vasik was convicted of treason and sentenced to death for assassinating the chancellor. The only method of execution allowed is lethal injection.

The federal government prohibits capital punishment for all crimes under its jurisdiction. At the state level, it varies. Most states have outlawed the practice, but others practice it quite commonly.

The Federal Republic allows for capital punishments for the worst cases of criminal offenses. Such offenses include repeated murder, large-scaled robbery, terrorism, treason against the state, etc.
