The SSZF now gives its citizens the chance to die a natural death, or have their brains preserved in a synthetic body. Furthermore, the People's Square is now dominated by a new statue, of Lilya and Satori. It is twice the size of Christ the Redeemer and made of solid gold. The statue was also personally carved by Lilya.

It's October of 2068, Clara has been Prime Minister for a little over 7 months. In this brief time, she has accomplished a goal of hers, tapping Syndikat's massive cultural potential. Inspired by Carnival, she has promoted cultural development in Syndikat. Historical landmarks have been given some restoration attention, local festivals occur on occasion, new restaurants are opening across the country, new Syndikati music plays on new music radio stations (music stations were rare before. It was mostly news and talk radio), and tourism has been booming.

The PXC has begun work on yet another, faster alcubierre drive.

An amazing discovery was made during alcubierre mkIV testing. According to PXC calculations, the most recent prototype should be capable of speeds up to 378.9c. When throttling up the prototype on the drone, at about 342.4c, the drone disappeared. Communications blipped out for about 1 second before they were re-established. The drone had warped to another region of the galaxy.

After conducting further research on the phenomon, it has been determined that at 342.4c, the generated alcubierre field becomes so strong that it bends space, allowing for near-instantaneous cross-space travel. With some fine tuning, development, and calculations, the Alcubierre MkIV could be an honest to goodness warp drive.
