i have a population of 9 millon i draft and i was recentlly gifted 50,000 troops by scarsaw

Men and women ran every which way to get in to their battlestations as the Ursavian fleet lumbered through international waters with a large enough force to crush anything that came out to challenger the Battle Fleet. It's three carriers, six cruisers, five submarines, and ten destroyers all moved through the water carrying an impressive compliment of Ursavian Naval Marines to help with humanitarian aid if needed and (if the situation proved too intense) land operations against enemy forces. They were ready to support any land-based operations as cruise missiles were prepared, anti-submarine devices were prepared, and the Battle Fleet prepared to crush the country in as violent a manner as possible if required. While they did this, a message was sent out to the nations participating.

Our Battle Fleet is moving in to position as we speak and is ready to support any ground offensives taken. Besides this we have a compliment of Naval Marines on board for humanitarian aid and ground combat if it is required.

Besides, this is just a prisoner rescue op. My population is >7 billion, and I'm only deploying 20,000 troops.

These troops are capable of deploying via helicopter or tiltrotor into an enemy city. This strategy avoids a possibly bloody battle at the waterfront, and bypasses many defenses. Mirkanan military doctrine also calls for the large-scale use of attack helicopters to support such an attack.

As a peaceful nation, the Iglesian Archipelago won't declare war on any country.

But the prisoners from Al Quidah are welcome to this democratic country with open arms.

We may need to send some prisoners to your nation. The operation has no idea how many prisoners we have to rescue. It could be hundreds or it could be half of their population.

IC - The Sovereign Communal Union of Pevisopolis, being largely more concerned with homeland defense rather than invasion and/or occupation of foreign countries, will not declare war. However, we are willing to receive refugees and, if necessary, export arms and aid to the smaller nations taking part in this operation.

Parliament has voted to use the Lizardiar Armies to hold off the Al Quidah forces while extraction of the prisoners is underway. Parliament has contacted the soldiers and generals and they have agreed to this plan, even though it could mean certain death.
