This is an MT thread, for the purpose of the continuation of the previous thread, The Declaration of War on the Constitutional Monarchy of Quenada. It is highly suggested that you read everything below as the Main Rules and Guidelines for this thread. I am a kind and understanding host regarding new players and forgiving players for mistakes, but repeat offenders will be met with no mercy. No mercy.
- No godmodding - insta-moving your troops or saying that your troops arbitrarily massacred the opposition is utterly ridiculous. Also remember the other player's consent for deciding causalities.
- Troop numbers and military realism - I highly recommend newer members of NS to read the military realism thread for this. Its interesting, and helps you quickly immerse yourself in the II RP community.
- Nukes - Nuclear weapons can be used, but please remember, using your nukes means that the opposition uses theirs. And a lot of people on both sides die, and some countries will end up worse than others. Furthermore, you might just make more enemies and ultimately lose the war. Also should probably be used for extreme situations only. And if you didn't start off with nukes, they don't just magically appear at your behest.
- One-liners - I generally do not support one liners or posts with just a few lines. I will make exceptions for newer members of NS, but I still expect no godmodding and more detail in the posts. Plus, the storyline sounds better with more detail. And is much more fun to read, trust me.
- Other - I will not tolerate spam. Of anything and by anyone. Nuke spammers are prohibited, and throwing the millions of troops that you didn't have at the start of the war onto the battlefield will be met with similar responses.
Below is the lead up to this war. There will be time before the conflict for diplomacy, military planning, war preparations. Make it as detailed as possible for more fun!
The Elesarian-Quenadian Conflict
The Commonwealth of Elesar declared war on the Constitutional Monarchy of Quenada in an attempt to overthrow the Liberal government of Quenada. Elesar's Grand Duke specifically stated that hostilities had broken out for the specific reasons "to put those pansy liberals back in their place." International responses ranged from outright support to outright condemnation, and Quenada moved to attempt to eliminate Elesarian forces before actual invasion. International support for Quenada was widespread, but limited and not put into action. On the other hand, Elesar gained support from conservative and religious countries, using Quenada's socially liberal ideology as a casus belli. Comparative responses were excellent, and Elesar gained a large military force to overwhelm Quenada defenses.
International heavyweights attempted to stem the invasion as the smaller Quenadian forces buckled under multiple bombing runs and naval assaults. Attempts at diplomacy were made, however, Elesar and its coalition forces moved extremely quickly to prevent diplomatic negotiations from actually occurring. In this context, the Asian Federation of Nations issued an ultimatum to Elesar and its allies to withdraw from Quenada for face war. While not the first of such ultimatums, the ultimatum was ignored as Elesarian-affiliated forces rushed to force Quenada into surrender. A Christian, conservative party came to power in Quenada after the Liberal government collapsed.
Within several hours, Quenada surrendered and Elesarian forces and their allies moved into the capital for celebration and humanitarian efforts. International supporters of Quenada, on the other hand, were utterly outraged, thus setting the stage for the next conflict.

The Quenadian Question - We're here on the timeline.
During the glowing triumph of Elesar and its allies over Quenada, the leaders of the Asian Federation of Nations and other states realized that Symphonia's declaration of support for Quenada may have accelerated Elesar's plans, the reason for Quenada's speedy collapse. Of course, the new conservative government of Quenada was not recognized by the AFN as the legitimate government, and many expect the Symphonian government to simply pass it off as a collaborationist government to Elesar. Emperor Jacob von Reich-Kiramashi, who had greenlighted Prime Minister Akira vi Contruum's request for some sort of Imperial Intervention in Quenada, now seeks vengeance in order to recover the loss of face as Symphonia has lost a war without even firing a shot. With Symphonia's Imperial Senate now in uproar over the loss, it will only be a short time before another conflict roars to life.
Meanwhile, Elesar and its allies wake up to the idea that the supporters of the previous Liberal government are planning for a counterattack. And so the build-up begins.
