A 7.0 quake just hit Haiti 10 miles from the capital. Thousands are likely dead and nearly the entire area destroyed. Topping it off, two aftershocks at 5.9 and 5.5 have also hit.

And to think I almost went to Haiti for vacation...

It didn't help they we restored democracy there, one month before the scheduled elections.

Wow, really? we had an exchange student form Moldova in high school, but she wasn't that well liked, kinda hairy for a girl, lol.
