Commander Riley
ORBAT: 2440 specialists, 40 Pz.Kpf.W AY2-1E/L main battle tanks, 1 Pz.Kpf.W AY2-1E battlefield command tanks, 10 Panzerhaubitze 2E self-propelled artilleries, 5 PiPz AY2-AVEE Hindenburg combat engineering tanks, 2 Panzerschnellbrücke 2E rapid bridge tanks, 60 VLT M5 military trucks, 7 RH-77 Cannondale stealth attack helicopters and 1 Commonwealth Class Nuclear Aircraft Carrier,
Outside of Embassy compound

"Commander Riley, your plan is a no go. They severed the Internet, Its not showing up in the area but we are currently working on another solution. We are going to try to cut the power, though its going to take time. Once done your only going to have a few seconds before any back up kicks in. So you will need to ensure your men are under the camera's field of view once we shut it off. So go ahead and torch your manholes." informed one of the techs as they quickly started to hack into the power grid of the city. This was going to be a close call as they only would get once shot at this. Commander Riley gave the signal to torch the manhole so they would be ready and the groups started to heat up the man whole where it had been sealed.

Meanwhile...

Postby Xarcan » Sun Nov 16, 2014 5:05 pm

As this tense interaction is occurring approximately 350 kilometers away, a meeting is convened in the Atled, Xarcan's Presidential Palace. Rain patters on the windows as a mild Mediterranean storm passes overhead. The President and Premier of Xarcan, Panas Kajam, inquires as to the situation so far. His minister of Foreign Affairs states while groveling,
"Well Dear Leader, although the ISIL Confederacy took over the Kiwi Embassy quite some time ago, no progress has been made. The ISIL Fighters and Special Forces from many nations still face each other with minimal action being taken by either side. In other words, the situation is stagnant right now, but could easily explode like a stick of dynamite."
"So this could go either way," stated the Leader matter-of-factly.
"Indeed."
"Well, after our battle for the Suez Canal and the engagements with the fierce Yemeni Infidel Purgers, we must ensure no one, whether one of our supposed allies or a rouge terrorist organization, poses a threat to our great nation. Tell the General I have ordered a doubling of border patrols along the Sinai border. Oh, and one more thing. Let him know to initiate Phase 2. Codeword: Great Snake."
"Right away, Dear Leader," said the Minister, scurrying away.

The leader of K-Unit turned to his second-in-command. "Do you think we should go in?". The sergeant shrugged,"That Riley and his men seemed more experienced than us, and our orders are to make sure the hostages are safe before we go in." The Commander of K-Unit nodded. "Alright then, we will continue waiting."

Ben-Gurion, Shahak

Hours that seemed like days passed slowly by for the men in the compound, which the terrorists inside the compound took full advantage of by even further fortifying their positions inside the compounds various buildings. Windows that were not being used by the fighters were covered and or blocked using the abundance of heavy office furniture and cabinets that filled the complex, which provided a duel service by not only offering better cover and concealment for the fighters, but also prevented prying eyes from getting a solid view inside the buildings. Enemy personal outside the complex could only wonder after a short time what was going on inside the complex, as they could only faintly hear the unmistakable sound of objects being moved around inside the buildings or the occasional whine of a cordless screwdriver being used on various objects for unknown reasons...

After making his rounds earlier, the masked man who had addressed the group of ISIL fighters earlier stopped near an abandoned security checkpoint inside the complex and calmly smoked a cigarette, taking care not to expose himself like a rookie to eager marksmen that he knew were just waiting out there, somewhere. The sound of numerous engines and enemy radios could be heard clearly from where he squatted, and he knew that he and his men were horribly outnumbered in this incident. It was only a matter of time now before they made their move and he knew it. The only question that remained in his mind, was when.

Taking a final drag on the stub that remained of his cheaply made cigarette, he flicked it away onto the pavement nearby where it slowly burned itself out. Standing up into a low crouch position, the man dug into his parkas cargo pocket and produced an old school hand held radio that had been modified by his techs before the mission began stuffed inside an old sock to protect it from blunt force trauma. Staying low and moving with a purpose behind cover, the man duck walked his way across the compound and was soon standing against the parameter wall of the outer courtyard near what remained of the main gate.

With a little effort, the man swung the sock in low circles gaining momentum for a few seconds before he released it with all his might up and over the wall toward the nearest enemy position in hopefully open terrain. As soon as it was released, the man immediately started moving with a purpose back toward the relative security of the main building. A few moments later, he was safely back inside the building.

"Time to see if anyone's home..." he muttered to nobody in particular and pressed the little music button on the matching radio, which made the sock radio start to jingle with a pleasant tone, indicating that someone was trying to communicate with it.

Now all he could do was wait...

OOC: sorry for the short post. I am on my phone and its screen is deceiving.

IC: The manholes could now be opened, the torch took a few minutes, but it worked. "Commander, cutting power in five, four, three, two, one, mark." Informed the teche as the four squads saw the power go out and quickly got under the field of views of the camera just as the back ups had come online. They had cut it close, now they were going to climb up to the roof and enter from there. This operation was going to test their skills as operators.

"Ok, we made it and got under the cameras just before the backups turned on. We are going to grapple up to the roof and enter via a skylight in one of the offices. Hostages are still unknown as are their conditions. Proceed with caution, we don't know how these guys will react," informed Riley as him and his men grappled up to the roof and saw their marksmen from the view. They crouched over to a skylight and then cut it. They slowly rappelled into the office well two different offices.

General Ben Mak walked up the throne room, his pace steady as he approached the throne. Her Majesty, Queen Michele I sit majestically on the chair, though her face betrays her conflicting emotions. Her glasses perch at the tip of her nose as she gaze on the incoming visitor, who was dressed smartly in his green military uniform.

"General Mak, I have no time for idle chats. Troubling news has reach me." The Queen said her eyes still gazing on the General. "One of our carrier the HMS Indefagitable has already set sail for Shahak with a full complement of fighter jets. Can you explain to me why?!"

General Mak merely shrugged. "Your majesty, we believe it is only prudent we deploy our forces to combat the threats of extremism. We cannot allow it to spread!"

"BUT DEPLOYING A FULL TASKFORCE?!" the Queen explained, her face shocked with disbelief. "I believe that this is a internal matter that should be handled by Shahak's governm..."

"Yes your majesty, the Indefagitable will already be joined by 3 frigates and 2 battlecruisers. They should be there in 2 days" the General cut her off mid-way. "We believe that the government of Shahak will not be able to get the situation under control even with all this international forces deployed there. Therefore, I have already given command to Admiral Pauline to secure interest that may be of vital importance to Pasire Rise."

"But we have no vital interest there, General."

"Exactly." The general smiled, "well, not yet at least."

Ben-Gurion, Shahak
Outside the gates to the Kiwi embassy

Corporal Nathan Harris leaned against the wall of the barricade that the K-Unit and Shahaki authorities had established infront of the embassy. His unit made sure that they kept watch on the building, but their instructions were to wait until the Xirvo Corporation men either signaled or for a golden opportunity to present itself before storming the building. Corporal Harris looked up as he heard a muffled 'thump' as something hit the ground nearby. He lifted his K-300 assault rifle and approached a small object that had apparently been thrown over the wall. Then it began to make a noise, like a ringtone. "Got to be careful," He muttered to himself as he walked, head down to avoid any bullets, closer. "Terrorists do love their IEDs". The object appeared, of all things, to be a sock. Harris carefully picked up the sock, and pulled a radio out from within it. He hurriedly went back to cover afew meters away, and motioned to his comrades to summon his commander, before pressing the button.

From the New Zealandia RMB, 4 days ago:
"GREAT SNAKE has been completed.
This means that no more citizens of Xarcan will be able to illegally emigrate to the outside world through Shahak. A large concrete wall about 6 meters high and 221 kilometers long has been completed through the Sinai peninsula. More funds have been allocated to Border Control there and for the Coast Guard. The wall has motion sensitive cameras, armed guards patrolling constantly, and electrically charged barbed wire running along the top."
The Atled, 5 hours ago:
"Well President, it seems this conflict has blown over. ISIL will likely keep the embassy & its hostages forever, blissfully ignored by Kiwi and Shahak as if none of this ever happened."
"OK."
