RP's will be judged by me on a scale of 0 - 3 (Rosters will count as a +1 to your ranking also). I will add that number to your ranking during scorination/cutoff. If you want to be purposefully bad but you are planning on RPing, let me know.
Tiebreaker is H2H goal difference.

Live Report from the Coupe d'Esquarium opening round: Republika Vilska - Nidzeslavia

Pre-game: Good afternoon everyone, we at Futbolvilska.vk would like to welcome you follow our live reporting of the game which is to played in Pawnee City in Masseau tonight, where Vilska takes on Nidzeslavia in an extremely interesting game. A win in the opening game would give a good advantage to proceed from the group. Stay with us for live commentary and reflections!

Pre-game:"If Vilska wants to win this game they need their top stars to perform at their highest level. Jósua Kapi needs to make himself a wall on the defensive midfield, Jakub Lynkso must handle the huge expectations on him, and Nukra'vuu needs to dominate his wing. Nidzeslavia is a good opponent with a good collective and should not be underestimated." - Words of Vilskan commentator Joán Yapue in the VSTV studio. The interest is huge for this game in Vilska as the nation makes its first appearance on the Esqaurian stage.

Pre-game:The Starting XIs has been released for tonights clash! Vilskan coach Fransesko Lametski has selected a formation with few surprises, as he chooses the best team for tonight's game.

Republika Vilska:

1. Fransesko Lakasáng

6. Maykel Sarmiyento
22. Mişa Sapatski
3. Yalonso Tvabasutka
23. Tavit Yablanski

5. Jósua Kapi
8. Jakub Lynkso - Captain

24. Lukas Garsiya
10. Miroslavo Katuski
7. Globleki Nukra'vuu

11. Manú Takbanevlo

6.25pm: The teams are entering the field now, and the Pitch de Pawnee is pretty packed right now; I would say maybe 90% of stadium is filled. There are quite a lot of Vilskan fans actually at the stadium, you can see fans dressed in red and yellow at the Southern part of the Stadium. Time for national anthems!

0’ (6.31pm): Kick-off: And we’re off! Takbanevlo of the Vilskan team rolls the ball to Katuski who passes it back to the defenders. The atmosphere in here is really amazing, you could hear the fans singing along with the national anthems really well. Let’s see how the match will play out.

3’: First chance of the game! After mostly careful play in the beginning, Vilskan right back Sarmiyento makes a bad pass which a Nidzeslavian player can collect. The shot is a bit wide though.

5’: GOAL! Republika Vilska - Nidzeslavia 0-1 Chock start as Nidzeslavia takes the lead after only 5 minutes. After good pressing play, Kapi of the Vilskan team loses the ball to a Nidzeslavian opponent near his own defence line. A few quick combinations later and the ball is in the back of the net, with the Vilskan defence sliced through like with a razor-sharp knife. A nightmare start for Vilska

9’: Vilskan Center-back Yalsonso Tvabasutka makes a bad challange just outside the box and recieves a yellow card for that, despite the protests of fellow defender Mişa Sapatski. The Nidzeslavian players discuss for a long time who should take the free kick, however the effort is just wide of Goalkeeper Lakasáng’s left post.

13’: New chance for Nidzeslavia. A good cross from the right created panic among the Vilskan defence, however no one managed to get a touch on the ball.

15’: Nidzeslavia is controlling the game now. Vilska hasn't had a shot on goal and needs to step up their game. The fighting spirit that the team usually is known for has been completely absent today, and they need to get thier act together. Lametski is active on the sidelines, pushing his players to go higher.

22’: After an eventless period of play, Garsiya gets the ball on the right wing and manages to cut infield. His pass nearly find Takbanevlo, but it's a bit too steep. Good chance for Vilska.

26’: A Nidzeslavian defender fouls Vilskan winger Nukra'vuu who would be one on one against the keeper if he'd been allowed to continue. Vilskan players shout for a sending-off due to the brutal nature of the challenge, however the color of the card coming from the referee is yellow.

31’: GOAL! Republika Vilska - Nidzeslavia 0-2 After a period of better Vilskan play, Nidzeslavia punishes the Vilskan defence and scores to make it two-nil at Pitch de Pawnee. A nice thorugh-ball put the striker one-on-one with the goalkeeper, and the striker made no mistake. Tough, very tough, for the Vilskan team.

33’:GOAL! Republika Vilska - Nidzeslavia 1-2 Vilska responds directly! After Katuski is fouled about 20 meters from goal, Jakub Lynkso steps up and shoots the following free kick right up in the keepers right corner. Fantastic by the 22 year old Lynkso! Now the game is on again.

39’: Nidzeslavia steals the ball from left-back Yablanski and manages to create an opportunity. Lakasáng in the Vilskan goal can save the shot with out too much of an effort, however.

45’: Half time: Republika Vilska – Nidzeslavia 1-2. A very dramatic first-half of a very imporant game. After Nidzeslavian domination in the beginning, Vilska fights back and manages to reduce the gap by a fantastic free kick. Advantage is still with Nidzeslavia however, which has impressed during the first half. The players walk back to the dressing rooms for rest and tactical instructions.

45’: And we’re back! Republika Vilska makes one substitution at half time, with Malako Srangskuatskapoli coming in for Miroslavo Katuski. Coach Lametski motivated his decision to the Vilskan National TV channel VTVS1 as: ”''We need someone who can keep the ball upfield. Srangskuatskapoli is also more of an attacking threat than Katuski, and we need to attack better, definitely.''"

52’: The second half's first minutes are completely different from the ones of the first half. Vilska dominates, and it seems clear they are determined to not leave defeated from this game. As of now they haven't been able to convert their dominace into chances, however.

58’: Good chance for Vilska! Lukas Garsiya gets tackled about 25 meters from goal, and Lynkso takes the following free kick just wide. Dubious if the Nidzeslavian keeper would have saved that.

65’: Globleki Nukra'vuu hits the post! A very good chance for Vilska. Srangskuatskapoli takes down a long ball and uses his chest to pass the ball to Nukrav'uu, who beats his defender and takes a shot which very narrowly hits the post and goes out. Nidzeslavia hasn't resembled themselves in the second half, and needs to take over control to calm down the play if they want to survive the 90 minutes with conceding their lead. Attendance has also been announced: 43,184.

68’: Nidzeslavia must have heard the appeal, as they now come in an inspirated attack. The winger passes the ball to the striker who pulls the trigger making Lakasáng stretch out to save the ball for a corner, with turned out resultless.

73’: Vilskan substitution. Full back Sarmiyento out and stiker Suares in. Lametski changes to a 3-1-4-2, obviously wanting more attacking power. It looks like he now relies on Lynkso to provide through balls to the strikers from a defensive midfield position. Interesting to see how this will work out.

77’: PENALTY!. Takbanevlo falls just inside the box in a duel with the defender, and the referee has pointed to the spot. Furious Nidzeslavian players protest the decision to no avail. Takbanevlo himself steps up to take the penalty.

78’: And he misses!! Takbanevlo shoots low into the left corner, but the goalkeeper reads it and makes a good save to stop the ball. Very tough for Vilska. Meanwhile, Manager Lametski is reported to be furious on the sideline, as reports tell us his original first choice penalty taker would be Jakub Lynkso, and that Takbanevlo refused to give the ball away. Confusion here in the studio, however most importantly the score remains 1-2 to Nidzeslavia.

83’: The Vilskans seem to have lost their hope with the missed penalty. Nidzeslavia rolls the ball around in midfield positions.

85’: Close, close, for Nidzeslavia. Lakasáng makes a good save from a long shot, with the rebound cleared by the defenders. Can Vilska manage a last attempt, and rebuild morale before the ref blows his whistle?

87’: GOOOOOL! Republika Vilska - Nidzeslavia 2-2 AND THEY CAN! Vilska has equalized by Lukas Garsiya! A long shot from Jakub Lynkso - who else? - forces the Nidzeslavian keeper to let a rebound which Garsiya can slot into the empty net! Huge celebrations on the stands among the Vilska supporters.

89’: Nidzeslavia attacks directly from kick-off, but Tvabustka in the Vilskan defence blocks the eventual attempt. Three more minutes will be added as extra time

93’: Full time: Republika Vilska – Nidzeslavia 2-2. Huge comeback by the Vilskan team to manage to snatch a point in their opening fixture. Although Nidzeslavia dominated the first half, Vilska stepped up in the second half and dominated possetion. Very dramatic finsih to a very dramatic game, and if this sets the standard to the rest of the Coupe, we will not be disappointed. With Gibberan beating Koyro in the other match of the group, they have got an advantage for the next round, but the final results of the group are still wide-open. We thank you for joining the Futbolvilska live report, and hope to see you for the next game. Good Bye!

LIVE: Masseau beats Crolacia 3-2

Everything was settled already in the first halftime. Amilcar Rey, Masseau's manager, has solved his player problems by putting in the game players that Masseuan fans wanted to see. Crolacian manager Heldaar Dilroy put, as he said, ''all my hopes'' in this game, but the host country of Masseau is bringing the glory home.

GOAL Just how it was predicted, Masseau struck right from the first minute, Crolacia went for fast charges, but there were not that many today. Masseuans dominated in the first halftime and scored their first goal in the 28th minute, goal by Basilio Caro. Asturias stole the ball from Hendersson and gave the ball to Alvarado who went through the Crolacian defence and assisted to Caro.

Crolacians wanted a penalty in the 35. minute because Chavarria's arm touched the ball, but the referee refused it since the ball struck the arm within a close distance.

GOAL Masseau scored their 2nd goal in the 40. minute after a mistake by Cert. Crolacians went on a charge but Cert twisted his leg on the ball, causing him to fall down. Masseuans took the chance and went on to attack an almost empty Crolacian box, with Graciano taking on Crolacian goalkeeper Fife and scoring a smashing goal.

Both sides attacked in the end to the first halftime, with 1 minute extra time.

GOAL Second halftime was on as the Crolacian team wanted to score goals. They began with a full charge and soon enough, in the 53. minute, Erdonn scored the first Crolacian goal in Coupe d' Esquarium as Crolacian moral rose up.

Masseuans struck back, however, with Aritzta almost scoring a goal in the 59. minute.

GOAL Crolacian defence fell apart in the 71. minute when Masseau scored its' 3rd goal, cementing their victory. It was a forward volley by Graciano, him scoring his second goal for Masseau in CdE.

Masseauan team had seemed to have got back by the 75. minute, but a strong header by Maria almost got in the goal as Fife saved it in the last second.

Crolacian team had some small chances in the 79. with a free kick by Erdonn and 85. with a volley by Restur.

GOAL Crolacian charges went to fruit in the 89. minute when a Crolacian charge headed by Norst put the ball in Ramiras' goal.

There were 2 minutes of extra time, with both sides keepeing their defence.

FINAL RESULT: MASSEAU-CROLACIA 3-2

It was time. It was just about half past five in the morning, and I was already awake. I had to quickly get dressed and take the suitcase carrying my stuff out so I could head by taxi to the stadium where my team, FC Jerusalem, or as many call it, the "Emperors" play. After I put on my home kit, and my jacket since it was a bit chilly out, as well as my shoes, I saw a waiting taxi. I quickly made my way to there.

The taxi driver asked, "Till kejsarinnan Sofia stadion?" (To Empress Sophia Stadium?)
Without hesitation, I blurted out, "Ja." (Yes).

Thus, the taxi would drive me from my small house in a pleasant neighborhood built around the late 1800s, which looked pretty pleasant, although not as much as that house I grew up in Hihang, onto an arterial road, where I could see the majestic coast and the skyscrapers that make up this beautiful city. Eventually, I arrive at the Empress Sophia Stadium, and I give him my fare in cash. I said in English, "Keep the change," and got out. I then trudged my way to the stadium, where I saw almost every player there. I quickly join them, and then soon, I hear an announcement.

Alfred Långstrump began, "Dear Emperors... You have won the Chaska i Luziyca, and thus, it is your duty to represent this free nation in the Chaska i Esquarium. Last edition, Semrov failed to defend its title, and we do not want to be seen as a perpetual laughingstock in association football. Thus, it is imperative that we need to practice hard, to score well, and to ensure that we take back the title and win our second Chaska! Is it clear?"

The entire team shouted out, "JA!"

Alfred said, "Thank you. We shall all get on the team bus," and he then droned on and on before he said, "LET'S GO!" That helped snap me out and I followed the mass of players onto the bus. We all get on, one at a time, and taking our seats.

After I take my seat, my teammate who is a backup, Jerk Frisk sat beside me. Jerk said, "Hello, Kerr. Looking forward to the Chaska i Esquarium in Masseau?"
I said, "Ah, hey Jerk. Yes, I am, what about you?"
Jerk replies, "Eh, not really, Kerr. Just, the pressure that they have on us, not just by our families and our fans, but the entire nation. I swear to God, everyone is going to watch it. And I mean everyone."
"Yeah," I say. I could tell that he wasn't looking forward because if he was looking forward to the match, he called me "wanker." There was an awkward silence, before I say to Jerk, "The pressure is not great, but it is a necessary evil, am I right?"
"You bet'ya, wanker!" Jerk replied with a joking smile.
"I know, Jerk," I remark playfully.

It felt normal again, and even as if we now were on the way to the Jerusalem International Airport, I could tell that things were normal. In minutes, we arrive at the airport, and all of the suitcases came out. We all underwent scans, all of our luggage was put in the cargo hold, I felt like I am looking forward to playing in Masseau.

We were scheduled to go on the Jerusalem-Desislav flight, before transferring to the Desislav-Wiley flight, where our group, Group F was supposed to play. Thus, many of us had some food while we waited for our flight, while some interacted with the fans, some who plan on going to Wiley as well to witness the group matches.

Eventually, we had to board the plane. One by one, each player came on, until the entire team was on the plane. Some were going to watch the game, but others were going to vacation in Desislav: we secretly call these fellows snowbirds since Desislav is much warmer than Jerusalem this time of year. By about 7:45 am, our Air Luziyca flight took off and began flying. I took a good look out of my window, seeing the sprinkling of snow on the ground, for winter is starting to begin. Jerusalem seemed to shrink until we reached cruising altitude. In the course of an hour and a half, I saw the view transition from snowy plains to the green scenery, especially once we began to cross the Sprska Sea, until we saw the Karpatis where we saw some snow, but not a whole hell of a lot.

By nine in the morning, Jerusalem time, or 10 am in Desislav, we landed at the Royal Desislav International Airport, where we were slated to go on another flight. We all went off our Jerusalem-Desislav flight, and we got about an hour to waste. Here, many got lunch at McDonald's, and I did so, this time chatting again with my teammate, Felix Niequist.

"Greetings, Felix," I say to him as I sit down, carrying a tray of a large Coke, and some pancakes on the side. "How was your flight?"

"It went well," Felix said. "I take it yours went well too?"

"Yes, it did," I reply. "The scenery looked amazing," and I began eating my lunch. Felix also would eat his lunch.

Finally, at 11 am Jerusalem time or 10 am Desislav time, we began to board for our flight to Wiley, in the country of Masseau. After our team, some fans, and some Katranjians who either were going for a business trip or watching the games boarded. At 11:15 am Jerusalem time, we flew out of Krasimir and soon encountered the blue sea. Luckily, we weren't crashing down into the sea, but rather, we were flying above the sea. By noon, we began to see land, but we knew that we won't be there just yet. Gradually, however, we began seeing signs that we were getting quite close to Wiley, until at 1:27 pm, we finally arrive in the city of Wiley.

Our team went through customs, and then we were picked by up a waiting bus to take us to our hotel in the city. We got our cargo, and then took them into the hotel. The hotel looked quite peaceful and was owned by Espandia Resorts. It was the Southern Wiley location, and soon, we all headed to our rooms to unpack and rest for a little bit, before we headed to a nearby football pitch to practice at 3 pm by bus.

In the practice match, the backups were to follow the Qianrongese team. Since we had no fucking idea on how the team was organized, we had to assume they were playing in the standard formation. Each time, we were trying to score goals, but as the mock match went on, we felt that they were defending so well and we were weak in defense. At 4:30 pm, we switched sides, and I was now the Luzzies, while the main team were now the Qianrongese. We learned from them quite well and mimicked their strategy. We were able to keep pounding the balls into the goals, and by six in the evening, we managed to defeat the Qianrongese team. Thus, we headed to a local restaurant serving food that was made in Masseau, where I ordered some local food. It tasted really delicious and it felt quite good. After chatting with our friends, we headed to the hotel for the night.

The following morning, we woke up at the hotel at six in the morning and after a breakfast at McDonald's, we began practicing for our match against Qianrong. After we have done that, we felt ready and we soon made our way to the stadium, in time for the match.

Many Luziycan fans showed up, many dressed in white, green and blue, but some weren't. Many Luziycan flags were waved, and it felt beautiful. When the match began with the singing, our team began singing "Moya strana tis tebya..." echoing all over the stadium, with everyone joining in. Then the Qianrongese anthem began to be played. We only heard the Qianrongese fans and players singing their anthem, and then after the process was done, I headed to the bench to watch the game. Jerk sat right beside me.

Two minutes in, a Qianrongese player tried to score a goal, but Rodgar Hagen stopped it and managed to sneak past the Qianrongese defenses to score a goal. The fans cheered and they were quite ecstatic. Then six minutes were into the match, and we saw another goal scored by Elov Lindberg, raising our score to 2-0. We were on the lead, and I cheered for my team, the Emperors! Eventually, it degenerated into a stalemate as the Qianrongese seemed to have found an effective way to counteract Total Football and reduce its effectiveness. The audience seemed to have almost became catatonic...

But 43 minutes into the match, a Qianrongese forward broke through our negligible defenses and scored a goal, resulting in many Luziycans booing while the Qianrongese fans were cheering, and by the end of the first half, the score was 2 points for the Luziycans, and 1 for the Qianrongese. During the break, we all exchanged conversations, and wishing each other luck, especially on the main team.

The match resumes, and we witness another stalemate. It felt so boring that I was desperately trying to keep my eyes open, but 78 minutes in, I heard a huge roar from the crowd and I suddenly paid attention. Rodgar Hagen scores another goal, raising our score 3-1. Finally, just as the match is about to end, Felix Niequist scores another goal, ending the match 4-1 in the favor of the Luziycan Emperors! The Luziycans began singing, and we headed back to our locker rooms to change into our regular clothes. We then headed for supper at the hotel restaurant, feeling extremely triumphant...
