Artan Ginoro
M. Artan Iaco Carolos Ginoro or Artan Ginoro (aka: Arty, Prezzy Arty) is the President of the Third Empire of Yulis (Lon Président delu Impierźion Transien dun Yulis). Ginoro was elected in November 4, 2670.

Biography
Artan Iaco Ginoro was born in Manucio, Tælstine. He attended the local schools and proved to be an excellent student. His entire family moved to the city of Tælstine in 2629 so that he could attend a better secondary school. He left school early in 2631 to attend university. He graduated in 2634 and chose to pursue a career in politics. He joined Lon Parti dun Laboro (Labour Party) in 2635 and was elected to the Tælstine City Council in 2636 at the age of only 22. He ran for the position of Mayor in 2639 and was successfully elected, becoming the youngest Mayor of Tælstine in history. He was reasonably popular, but was not re-elected in 2642. He was captured by the communist regime in 2644 and was imprisoned until 2647, when the last of the regime's prisoners had been processed and returned to society. He joined the Constitutional Committee in 2649 and was an important figure in the drafting of the Constitution. Before the first general election, he formed Lon Parti Libérilo (Liberal Party) and began campaigning. His party won 19 seats (out of 884) in the election and they sat in opposition to the government (although not officially opposing the government). Soon before the 2655 general election a huge number of representatives left the two governing parties and joined the Liberal Party. Although the size of the Liberal Party, newly renamed the New Liberal Party, had swelled to over 130, only 106 representatives returned after the election. Now having the support to do so, Artan Iaco Ginoro ran as a Presidential Candidate. Ginoro split the vote among the left wing candidates, placing third of four in the first round. After gaining most of Socialist Candidate Carolos Arden's vote he pushed out incumbent Ladogan Vorsyn before beating Conservative candidate Mattéo Isserel. The New Liberal Party formed a coalition with highly popular New Yulis Party (Vorsyn's party). In the 2660 election Ginoro won the presidency for a second term and the New Liberal Party formed a coalition with the Socialist Party. Ginoro continued to be a popular president although his popularity began to wane slightly in the lead up to the 2665 election. The 2665 returned a shock result, with Conservative candidate Davir Haren narrowly winning the presidential election in its second round and the Conservative and National Parties formed a government. Davir Haren's government proved to be a turbulent period and before the 2670 election no one was able to predict a result. Artan Iaco Ginor very narrowly won the Presidential election and a coalition involving every party in the National Assembly, save the Conservative, National and New Yulis Parties, formed a 443 seat government (443 being the minimum number of seats required for a majority)

Dömendral III
Asmörne Mærten Dömendral Enrio Mærdek or Dömendral III (aka: Dweymin) is the Mighty Emperor of the Third Empire of Yulis (Lon Impier Forto dun Impierźion Transien dun Yulis). Dömendral III ascended to the throne in October 18, 2618.

Biography
Emperor Dömendral III was born in 2604, just as whispers of civil war were beginning to echo, he spent most of his childhood in Jaméor before being forced to flee when rebel armies captured Jaméor. He was officially crowned in 2622, when the Yulisian Government was restored. He played little part in the drafting of a new Constitution and the Monarchy was reduced to an entirely ceremonial role. Dömendral was content just to have a stable single nation and to have a family. Dömendral fled to Hosbiarna during the Third Civil War in 2642 and remained there until 2646 following the revolution and Fourth Civil War. Dömendral's eldest son, Dömendral, was a member of the Constitutional Committee and the Monarchy was restored with a powerful role in the Government.

Seymour Arkend
Seymour Rizo Arkend or Seymour Arkend (aka: Mister Arkend, The Grand Consul, The Butcher of Vol, Rizo) is the Grand Consul of the Republic of Prumia. Seymour Arkend was delected in January 25, 2009.

Biography
Born May 12, 1977 to an upper-middle class family, Seymour's father, Alecht, worked as the foreman for a metal processing factory in Natale, the capitol of the then-powerful Gargolen Imperium. Due to strict labor laws, Seymour barely knew his overworked father and came to depend on his mother, Dominess, greatly. Seymour's early life would remain largely uneventful, but when the Gargolen Imperium began its efforts of unifying the continent through war, the Arkend family found themselves stressed to nearly the breaking point when their factory was overwhelmed by new orders to support the war effort.

Having lacked a formal education, being mostly home schooled by his mother, at the age of 15 Seymour would apply to join the highly prestigious Institute for War and Governance. An elite university/military academy, the Institute was intended for the ruling classes of the Imperium by training them for a future stations as officers in the military or administrating politicians for the Imperium's bureaucracy. At the age of 15, Seymour would manage to pass the rigorous entrance examinations, setting new records that would last until the Institute would close down in 2010. As a result of his relatively low status, and despite his perfect academic record, Seymour would find himself ostracized by his peers at the Institute. By the time of his graduation in 1997, at the age of 20, Seymour would be surpassed in grades by only the son of the Emperor himself (stories abound that this was a result of forged records on the part of the Prince). However, despite his high scores, Seymour would not be afford the rank entitled to him in the military and would instead be conscripted as a mere First Lieutenant.

In 1999, the Gargolen Imperium, emboldened by the seizure of land west of their Empire, would turn to the allied city-states of the Durish Desert region in the east. The city of Balama would fall to overwhelming force, but the city of Camros would prove obstinate. The Gargolen leader, Commander Jugalins Furekan, would prove unable to take the fortified city and would repeatedly waste entire regiments in his efforts to claim the city. After exhausting his forces, Furekan ordered a siege of Camros while he sent a request for reinforcements. Late in 2000, now Captain Seymour Arkend would find himself assigned to the 264th Infantry Units (I.U.); also in the 264th was a corporal, Tiberius Zal, and the two would become close friends during the wars to follow. After the 264th arrived at Camros, Arkend managed to discover a weakness in the enemy's defensive line. Exploiting it, Arkend would succeed in claiming the city despite obscene losses on Furekan's part. Gargolen military command, impressed with this turn around, would award Seymour with the first position of military governor of the city. Seymour would expect, but would resign in the following year in exchange for the rank of Colonel and command of the Gargolen invasion forces of the Vol Islands. Colonel Arkend would emerge victorious, but only after massive civilian casualties and the sacking of many Vol cities (to this day he still known as the "Butcher of Vol" by the locals).

By 2003 Seymour Arkend was a well-decorated colonel in the Gargolen military, but his rise in the Imperium would soon end when he received orders to prepare an invasion force for the large, neutral island nation of Prumia. Amassing a navy and air-force to claim Prumia's main harbor at Wishingtin, Seymour would be betrayed by his now-General Jugalins Furekan when he reported the fleet to the Prumian defense force. Declaring him a terrorist, Seymour would be imprisoned in the infamous Nalatin Prison. When Prumia was latter conquered by the Gargolen Imperium in 2005, Furekan would then order Seymour summarily executed.

With the assistance of his old friend, Tiberius Zal, and his other allies in the military, Seymour would manage to escape prison (and death). Now wanted fugitives from their country, Arkend and Zal would make their way for the recently occupied Prumia. Anxious to fight against the country that had betrayed them, in 2006 Seymour and Tiberius would begin organizing resistance elements in Prumia. After joining a group led by Casmer Lormean and Donern Ruffel (his future Prime Minister and Commander-and-chief, respectively), Arkend's superior tactical knowledge would soon place him in command. Over the next three years, as a result of Arkend's successful leadership and the Gargolen's overextended military, the Prumian resistance would grind away at the Imperium's hold on the nation. Following the siege of Wishingtin (in which Tiberius would die) and the Breakthrough at Olstain, Seymour would quickly declare the reformation of the nation of Prumia and the establishment of the new republic; that was in early January of 2009. Following the famous [i]One Day Election, in which everyone in Olstain voted on who their newer government's leader would, Arkend was declared the "Grand Consul," because of his foreign heritage, and Casmer Lormean was made Prime Minister, subordinate only to the Grand Consul.

The bankrupted Gargolen Imperium would fall soon after, a victim of uprisings covertly sponsored and supported by Prumia, and Seymour Arkend would take to his new role as leader of republic with deft and able hands. His government, despite his largely centrist views and autocratic tendencies, enjoys a great deal of popular support. How he will be remembered in history is unknown, but Seymour Arkend will certainly be notable for his strategic genius and infectious charisma.
