Tornadoes Destroy city in Berdanvia (Open to anybody)

Early saturday morning in a city called "Hend" was struck by a devastating F8 tornado. Of a population of 7,000, 568 people died and 2,223 people were severely injured. The Berdanvian military has been deployed as well as construction crews to clean up and rebuilt the city. To make matters worse, An anarch-communist group has taken this opportunity to cause violence in the city hoping to spread communism and anarchy to Berdanvia. Berdanvian troops have been open fired on many anarchists, killing many, but hundreds more still lurk in the rubble of the city, using gurilla warfare to kill as many Berdanvians as possible.

The Empire has called for international aid in helping us rebuild the city and stop the anarchists.

The Emperor sat cross-legged on a mat outside, underneath the covered walkway that ran around this section of the palace. Beneath him was a sharp drop that led to the wide gardens and forest of the palace grounds, whilst the palace itself was up on a semi-artificial plateau.

His daughter, Takara Kuribayashi, tapped her foot impatiently. Unlike her father, who was in a simple jade green kimono, she was wearing a suit of red scale armour, a terrifying helmet tied to her waist.
"Well?" she snapped, as the rain beat down, pouring in a thick curtain only a foot away from them.
Her father was silent for a few moments more. Bald, with a trim moustache and goatee, his lined face spoke of experience and weariness, but today he looked supremely relaxed.
"Yes," he replied, "go to this place. Do what you can. But do not comport yourself poorly. You are the heir-apparent to the Jade Empire."
She bowed a hasty bow, precise and martial, and turned to storm off, turning right to half-run half-jump down the long, stone steps that led to the city below.

Hend

The Berdanvian military command and the city authorities of Hend were contacted by an Yngenious transport jet, which was offering cost-free assistance in the form of a platoon of twenty Dragon Guards, the elite force of the Jade Empire of Yngen, led by none other than the heir to the Jade Throne, Takara Kuribayashi. All they required was landing permissions, communication lines to loyal government forces, and streamed updates on intel regarding allied and enemy positions, maps, etc.

14,000 UMU troops, along with 200 G-24's, 500 F-44's, and 800 APC-34's have been deployed to protect major cities.

UMGP Has been deployed to maintain order in the destroyed cities, they have been extracting survivors to safe havens, supplying the survivors with food, water, tents, medical supplies, etc. UMGP Have also started rebuilding the city and killing off anarchist revolutionaries.

When Yngen troops arrive at Hend, they are escorted to a safe-zone, away from the fighting. Berdanvian intelligence has found out that the anarchists have a base underground and in the sewers and are getting funds such as weapons and soldiers from the communist nation of Soviet Equality. Although we know that the anarchists are underground, it is still hard to find them and attack their base. We have sent a telegram to Soviet Equality telling them to stop funding these anarchists or face complete annihilation.

"We will aid these desperate anarchist revolutionaries in re-creating a new socialist Berdanvia!!!" exclaims the Soviet military general as he briefs his troops before sending them to invade Hend. "We destroy these capitalist pigs and make an equal, socialist society!!!". "HUZZAH HUZZAH HUZZAH!!!". Exclaimed all 10,000 soviet troops after the general finished his briefing. The were then sent in by helicopters and vehicles from Berdanvias bordering nation, they then snuck through the Berdanvian sewers until they met up with the anarchists in a huge underground compound. The anarchists were overjoyed to see thousands of soviet troops ready to fight the Berdanvians. After the greeting was over, the soviet troops scattered everywhere around the city, popping out of sewer holes into the battlefield.

"Well?"

Governor Nakamura asked anxiously. The entire meeting room remained silent.

"Duke Sylvanus? Would you mind briefing us again what the hell was happening?"

"Apparently, an absurdly large storm hit the city of Hend in Berdanvia. After that, out of nowhere, terrorists show up."

"Welp, gentlemen? What does this mean for us? Lord Salo?"

"... Intervention. This kind of situation could spread out very quick-"

"Excuse me, may I have a word on this?", Baron Bernard Dren interrupted, "This is no short of a very good chance for us to secure the integrity of Drenvia. Let all Berdanvians blow up!"

Bernard Dren, Salo thought, an outspoken pro-Drenvian man. He stood out among those not accepting Berdanvian rule over Drenvia. Just that his mind couldn't think clearly.

"Don't you think it's all their fault? Isn't there a conspiracy around this storm? It may just be Berdanvia trying to expose the terrorists; so screw them all!"

"With all due respect, BARON, what you've said until now are full of contradictions. What are you getting at? Helping the terrorists, or perhaps something else?"

"Err..."

"Then it's decided. The Order of the Blue Forest and Order of Neue Hanse shall be in charge of reinforcing the government of Berdanvia."

The Paladin Lord stood up, walking away from the meeting desk.

"Excuse me, Lord Governor.", he said.

"But... m'lord Paladin-", the Baron tried to stop Salo from going away, only to be halted.

"Consider this: what is more important, our general reputation, or the freedom of a territory?

Our loyalty lies in the Golden Throne and the Union of the Empire, not in the Domain of a Liege-lord."

Just like that, Paladin Lord Salo walked away from the meeting.

That night, an urgent message was sent, not by the Imperial government, but the Gubernatorial level from East Drenvia. Two Knight Orders had promised to commit their forces to maintain order in Hend. And Lord Salo would travel with them.

After Bjorn Ness heard about Gigaverse intervention in Hend, he was pissed beyond belief. "WHAT DA HELL DO THESE GUYS THINK THERE DOING!!!, I WANT THISE DAMN JAPS OUT NOW!!!", roared Bjorn Ness. "Yes sir" replied his top military general.

That night, the ENTIRE Berdanvian military entered Hend, and completely wiping out almost all traces of the anarchists and Soviets. The remaining anarchists and Soviets fled to neighboring countries. The Berdanvian military waited for the Japs to show up, a little while later almost ALL the militias all around Berdanvia showed up ready to fight off the damn Japs.

"The commies were merely an excuse to fight us...", Governor Nakamura said.

"Worry not, Lord Governor. Just in case, I've called for other nobles to prepare their military forces. My request for reinforcements from other Governorates has also been approved; thus, many are on the way to Berdanvia."

"This will be a great moment, my Lord... Oh, the media is here!"

"Is it? ... well, my patience for those stubborn fat dogs has run out. Prepare for a live broadcast!"

... 5 minutes later, Governor Nakamura was on screen.

"Reasonable citizens, cosmopolitan people of the world.

It is my greatest regret to inform you that the Berdanvian Armed Forces has fired shots at knights of the Holy Empire. We want peace and coexistence, but yet again, these warlike people have proven themselves to be a threat to international security. This act of aggression against our men will not be tolerated! The Governorate of East Drenvia will repay the damage that has been done!

ALL HAIL EAST DRENVIA!"

Simultaneously with the broadcast, Imperial legions from nearby territories, East Drenvia and two strategic ports included, were deployed on Berdanvian soil. With virtually no enemies to fight against in other parts of the country, they would have to make sure that those territories, except the capital region and Hend region, were to be taken swiftly and decisively without hesitation.

In Hend itself, two battle-groups were fighting bravely against the sudden and unexpected Berdanvian attack. Despite having had much harsh training, equipment, technology and air support, a certainty was they couldn't take on the enemy's large numbers for too long. Thus, another alternative was employed alongside their usual weapons: flamethrower tanks.

Back in Neu Lübeck, East Drenvia, nuclear arsenals captured from several nations - including Berdanvia - were assembled in silos and pointing straight at the capital of the bellicose nation. They hadn't been fired yet, however, an ultimatum was issued to Bjorn Ness, forcing him to surrender unless he wanted the capital to be shredded into bits.

Bjorn Ness looked outside his office window and sighed. "Why?" asked Bjorn Ness, "why?". All of 16 of his advisors were in his office to discuss this crisis with Gigaverse. "Those Japs think we are an evil nation with a corrupt government",sadly stated Bjorn. "But were not sir, we are a free, democratic nation!" happily exclaims one of his advisors trying to cheer up Bjorn. "Really?", are we really, I try to make this nation as free and has democratic as it gets, but the international community think we are evil and corrupt", replies Bjorn. Tears start to form the Bjorn's eyes, "I will not let this glorious nation to fall into an era of anime and hentai darkness!!!", demands Bjorn Ness. "I wants these Japs out now!!!", "YES SIR!!!" replied all his advisors at once. They all left to prepare the military the final operation to kick Gigaverse out of Berdanvia.

Meanwhile, the Berdanvian military has been taken huge casualties from the Japs, especially in the major fighting zones of Hend, Yalnor, and Fernak. Those three cities are basically right next to each other, and the Berdanvians have fortunately been able to hold then off since our ENTIRE military is there. The capital city has been surrounded by mines,explosive, deadly traps, anti-aircraft guns, and on the outskirts of the city an a 20 mile wide, 80 mile deep hole that stretches all around the capital city so no ground forces can enter the capital. The capital city has turned into a huge military base. All citizens who are not willing to fight are sent off to North Berdanvia which is completely surrounded by mountains and is a very peaceful nation.

All across Berdanvia, with no military to protect it, cities after cities, provinces after provinces fell to different Imperial Knightly Orders. All Paladin Lords agreed, whoever was Chief of Staff of Berdanviahad to be drunk that day.

Interim military governments were set up in the unincorporated territories to keep them from falling into anarchy and criminal activity. Meanwhile, reinforcements poured in from multiple fronts, providing more assistance to forces surrounding the capital and blockading the capital region completely from all supply routes from the outside. All telecommunication signals from within the region were to be blocked/intercepted.

Long-range artillery, especially Ordnung Cannons, were prioritized for use against defenses near the capital region. A no-fly zone surrounding the capital was implemented, turning airspace outside the region into easy observation points.

At midnight, paratrooper planes and bomber aircraft flew into the capital, escorted by multitudes of fighter squadrons. Everything was synchronized with an attack by helicopters, gunships and artillery. Orders were clear: find Bjorn Ness out, and keep civilians and infrastructure as intact as possible.

Likewise, the Hend region was given the same treatment. Only that airstrikes were more frequent, and artillery firepower was formidably more devastating.

Meanwhile, back in East Drenvia

The Governor's ultimatum for Bjorn Ness was never answered within the 12-hour deadline. He sighed, and turned to Baron Dren.

"Suggestions?"

"Do it, Sire."

"I would like to think of myself as a man of reasonable compassion. But I am prone to making exceptions. These people made me run out of my patience already, so...

God bless the Fatherland."

The Governor pressed the red button, sending all nuclear weapon stockpiles captured from the First Berdanvian War towards Hend, Yalnor and Fernak.

"God save the poor souls.", he murmured.
