Liberal Democratic Party- not liberal in US terms. They believe in the libertarian nightwatchman state.
National Action Union- Kind of similar, but are a bit more loose in their definition of a small government and tolerate some taxation and regulation of business and personal lives. They are pretty popular during times of high crime or terrorism threats. They are still more libertarian than any major political party in RL Earth.
National Vanguard- have their own brand of racism. Since Dagnians are pretty much a mixture of all races, they believe that the best aspects of all races have been brought out and the bad weeded out by Dagnia's harsh environment as well as our lack of government intervention for the weak and stupid. They think Dagnia should be closed to any more foreigners and, while they have only advocated war in self-defense and retaliation, they believe unprovoked genocide by Dagnians against others would be justifiable.

Not in government:
Progressive Freedom Party- anarcho-capitalist, believes the government should be broken up and privatized into competing governments.
People's Democratic Union- communists almost entirely from other nations. They are entirely non-violent and form communes in the countryside. Some of them even like Dagnia, because they are not bothered by the government.
Workers Revolutionary Front- as its name suggests, it is revolutionary and violent. Nearly all of its members are from other nations. Currently its assets are frozen and leaders are either on trial or awaiting extradition to their homelands or execution on Dagnia.

There is only one Party in the Thirteen Empires, the UPFP, United Peoples Freedom Party. They were elected in, when other parties existed. However, plebiscites and national/regional votes are very common on issues of note that arises. Political dissent is tolerated, up to attacks in the media on the party. They may not be removed from power, except if corruption and evil in Office can be justified. It's not a perfect system, but most leaders are people with a strong sense of rightousness, and there is a constitution which the party has sworn to uphold. Greater Good, Personal Freedoms etc.

The Armsticer Party (Center-Left Party) : The Armsticer Party is focused on the idea of establishing diplomatic relations with the surrounding nations of Vedrenheim, and eventually bringing them into line as allies and brethren in a great union of nations run like a democratic council. This council will be in charge of the region, and be made up of delegates from every country. They also want immigration to be unlimited and uncontrolled.

-The Vedrenheim Home Guard Party (Pure Centrist Party) : The VHGP was formed out of the militias that fought the Anarcho-Communists in the Second Civil War, a highly civically nationalist party, they want immigration to be controlled and limited, and for Vedrenheim to keep to itself and not bother any of the surrounding nations in any way, shape, or form.

-The Ultranationalist Alliance Party (Far-Right Party) : The UAP is focused on the idea that Vedrenheim is the supreme nation and all surrounding nations are inferior and should be conquered. As a result, they support taking over and enslaving the surrounding nations, and making the Armed Republic an official empire.

Our country's politics mainly stems around immigration and how we should best proceed with our foreign policy towards our neighbors, as you can tell from this snippet.
