Allow creation of regions with supranational unions

Postby Gang Garrisonia » Tue Apr 15, 2014 6:10 am

In such regions, certain areas of lawmaking/decisionmaking are decided collectively by majority vote of the countries in that region. Unanimity is required to change which areas are controlled by the region, and which aren't. Would allow creating European Union-esque confederations. You could then give regions classifications, just like countries! :D

(For someone whose flag is a variant of the DDR's, I should be advocating for making Warsaw Pact-style regions, not EU-style regions, but oh well :P)

I'm actually for this idea...but you realise that even though it'd be several regions forming a pact, you would only get 1 Delegate right?

I'm thinking of banding states, not regions, together into a supranational union. So you could convert an existing region into a supranational union.

I don't know about delegates. Continuing to only have one delegate for the region is a whole is fine with me, so long as the member states keep theirs. (You could maybe make some rule where if the region has 100% control, the states cease to have individual representation, or something like that.)
