I'm not an expert on everything that is going on around the globe.

Chosing a nation:
While all nations are available, its important to think about the country you're going to play. First of all you need to know the nation you RP, know its way of dealing with issues and know its policies. If you don't know that much about the nation you want to RP, no problem. Just make sure you get to know it. Find out what their situation is, in what kind of organisation they are involved in ect. Besides knowing the country you want to play, take a quick look at your own plans for the RP. Is it realistic in the lines with your country? If so, then join up. If not, perhaps another nation would be better.

Post Quality:
I expect a decent post quality, no one/two/three liners. I expect at least two Paragraphs. Try to put a good amount of detial in it and it shouldn't be a problem to get up a good post.

Timescale:
In this RP there won't be a precise timeline. Its to difficult to maintain a clear timeline while one is involved in a war while another is waiting for something to happen. Becouse of this we will put dates in our IC posts. When someone has a meeting or is involved in open conflict we proceed at a slow process, when there aren't any urgent happenings we can proceed more quickly. Just keep an eye on what everybody is doing and it will do just fine.

Historical Accuracy:
We will all start with the current situations and policies in our nations. However, becouse we are not going to follow history it can chage over time. This ofcourse not to fast. If you want drastic changes, then pick a country suitable for that matter. If you have the time, let it roll, start with minor changes and slowly change your nation.

Waging War:
Any conflict that is started must be waged reasonably and realistically. Keep all factors in mind: support, UN, terrain, mobilization ect. All major armed conflicts (Wars & Revolutions) must be pre-approved by me, This to keep it all realistic. If you plan on a war, let me know how you are going to build up the tentions, what you are going to do to prevent war, and how eventually the war will start. Keep alliances in mind, NPC's will act if needed. If you can't figure out a good plan you have options, i could try to help you with it, however this is not always possible and it very much depends on the nations policies and current situation. The second option is that you pick a country wich is already involved in a conflict. There are plenty of choices out there, so when you want to fight, i advice you to pick a country that is already involved in a war/conflict.

Technology:
Understanding the limitations of your nation's technology is important. The US will start with the best technology and it will probably stay that way. Its okay to improve your nations technology, but know that you can't jump ahead. Becouse we don't know what new inventions will come in the near future we will keep ourselves to the existing technology. We don't know what new technology will become reality in the near future, so keep yourselves to the current, existing technology.

Know How to Lose:
If you lose, say good game and go on. You can request to play as a revolutionary with new goals in the country you lost power in if you wish, just be realistic and don't go out there doing superman style politics/warfare. There's a map of existing seperatist movements in the world, plenty of choice among them.

Meta-Gaming:
What is meta-gaming? If something is talked about in OOC, for example a invasion plan for Afghanistan. I don't want someone going in there and placing troops in the way of the plan just from what they read in OOC.

Nuclear Warfare:
This will be the last point. Nuclear Weapons usage are going to be a strict part of this RP as Fallout is not something nice and there are rules on how to properly use them. Let us say two countries go to war, I don't want the two countries to as soon as they get into conflict, launch a nuclear missile at someone. If you are expecting to do that, this is not your RP. Now I will allow nuclear weapons to fly at times, but be aware of range and the possibility of it not making it to the target. Use it as sorta a "Last-Resort tactic". All Nuclear strikes must be pre-approved by me and made with legit reasons, even if you are bluffing the use just to get what you want.

Oh, so many nations, so many choices! Pakistan was fun last time, but I also want to try something new. Maybe an African nation, I rarely do them. Or a really teeny tiny nation, that'd probably be fun. Or Serbia, and I can create an international kerfuffle by intervening in Kosovo! Or Germany, and I can just hang around Germanying it up. Or Australia, or maybe Japan. Ooooh, what about North Korea! What a nation to RP as...

Nation Name: People's Republic of China
Head of State: Xi Jinping, President
Head of Government Li Keqiang, Premier & Party Secretary of the State Council

Government Form: One-party bureaucratic dictatorship
Ideology: Socialism with Chinese Characteristics
Foreign Policy: Support the status quo as much as possible; make noises when there's something to gain
Civil Freedoms /10: 4/10
Political Freedoms /10: 1/10
Economic Freedoms /10: 7/10

Military Size: 2,285,000 active personnel
Military Description: The People's Liberation Army is currently in a state of flux; it has been moving slowly from its Mao-era 'men over weapons' doctrines to a more modern state of affairs, called 'local war under high-tech conditions.' China easily possesses the strongest land forces on Earth, and is trying very hard to develop a blue-water navy and modern fifth-generation air force.
Organizations: The Burmese Tatmadaw, Laos's Pathet Lao, and the North Korean government all listen very closely whenever Beijing has something to say, but China can not be said to 'control them' in any sense of the word.

Description of Your Nation's Economy: Unbelievably massive. China is the greatest industrial furnace in the entire world, and produces huge quantities of every sort of manufactured good and natural resource. The construction industry alone is probably the size of the rest of the world's all put together. Its economy is still hampered, however, by the vestiges of state control, an over-powered bureaucracy, and by a large and uneducated lower class.
Description of Your Nation's Government: The government is unbelievably byzantine, with a vast web of offices and posts with no clearly-defined responsibilities. All power is held by the Communist Party of China, the top members of which are also ranking members of the government. Weekly decision-making is made by the 7-member Standing Committee of the Party Politburo; monthly strategy decisions are made by the 25-member Politburo at large. Larger bodies, such as the National People's Congress, are mostly rubber-stamp organizations. Provincial government has a surprising amount of autonomy, but each province remains essentially autocratic.
Small History of your nation till June 2014: Oh, jeez, where to begin... The last Emperor was overthrown in 1911. but the newly-formed Republic of China was unable to govern the country successfully. A period of political anarchy, abetted by the Japanese invasion, reigned until 1949, when Mao Zedong unified the country and established the People's Republic of China. His influence within the government waned in 1959 in the disasterous aftermath of the Great Leap Forward, but accelerated again in 1965 with the Cultural Revolution. After his death in 1976, control of the government fell to Deng Xiaoping, who articulated a doctrine of 'socialism with Chinese characteristics' and opened up the country to free-market interests. Deng Xiaoping left office in the 90s, but his political system remains influential to this day. Since his departure, the transition and succession of Chinese leadership has remained orderly and bloodless.
Goals for the Nation: 1) Strengthen relations with Taiwan, leading hopefully to the restoration of Chinese sovereignty thereupon. 2) Establish real control over the Spratley and Paracel Islands. 3) Maintain the integrity of the world political and economic order, seeing as it's so profitable for us. 4) Either win those damn Diaoyu Islands, or find something new to distract people from them. 5) If something does ultimately go down with North Korea, ensure that it's ultimately to our benefit.
Why'd you choose this nation? I live here!

Here's my app.

Nation Name: Democratic People's Republic of Korea, 조선민주주의인민공화국, Chosŏn Minjujuŭi Inmin Konghwaguk
Head of State: De Jure Eternal President Kim Il-sung (Deceased)
De Facto Supreme Leader Kim Jong-Un
Head of Government: Premier Pak Pong-ju

Government Form: Single-party Hereditary Authoritarian Juche
Ideology: Juche, Anti-Western, Military-first policy, Racism and Severe Xenophobia
Foreign Policy: North Korea is sometimes referred to as the "Hermit Kingdom" for it's isolationism. North Korea has been alienated from just about every nation on Earth, mostly in thanks to the North Korean government's actions. North Korea is even sometimes seen as a "Joke". NATO is the leading group in sanctions against North Korea for it's lack of interest in international law. Seemingly the only nation not on bad blood with Pyongyang is China, and even they have taken part in sanctions recently thanks to North Korea's continuing nuclear tests.

The relations with South Korea are interestingly sporadic. On several occasions, the North Korean government has hinted at interest in reunifying the Peninsula peacefully, but on much more numerous occasions, has threatened war destruction and nuclear fire on South Korea for even trivial things.
Civil Freedoms /10: 2.5
Political Freedoms /10: Can I go below 0?
Economic Freedoms /10: 3.5 (Recently free market was decriminalized, but a huge amount of the economy is government run)

Military Size: This seems pretty accurate, but does not include the over three million strong Worker-Peasant Red Guards paramilitary group.
Military Description: North Korea's military-first policy has meant that it's military is decently equipped, well trained and loyal. In fact, North Korea's ballistic missile program has been so successful, seven nations have in the past either purchased North Korean missile technology, or traded knowledge, such as in Pakistan's case where North Korean missile technology was traded for Pakistani nuclear technology.

However, thanks to North Korea's isolationism and their southerly neighbor's constant US support, North Korea's direct military capabilities have dipped below South Korea's. As such, North Korea has invested significantly in asymmetrical warfare. Such as stealth paint to conceal ground targets, midget submarines and human torpedoes, blinding laser weapons, and it is highly likely that North Korea has an established Chemical and Biological weapons arsenal, to accompany it's nuclear arsenal. Since the 1980s, North Korea has also been actively developing its own cyber warfare capabilities, and as of 2011 has some 1,000 skilled military hackers. The Korean People's Army has also made advances in electronic warfare by developing GPS jammers.
Organizations: N/A, all organizations I'll be using are already under control of the state.

Description of Your Nation's Economy: North Korea has an industrialized, highly centralized command economy with a high priority on self-sufficiency and independence. The Central Planning Committee prepares, supervises and implements economic plans, while a General Bureau of Provincial Industry in each region is responsible for the management of local manufacturing facilities, production, resource allocation, and sales.

North Korea's isolation policy means that international trade is highly restricted. North Korea passed a law in 1984 allowing for foreign investment through joint ventures, but failed to attract any significant investment. In 1991, it established the Rason Economic Special Zone, in an attempt to attract foreign investment from China and Russia. Chinese and Russian companies have purchased rights to use the ports at Rason. Chinese investors are renovating a road from Rason to China, and Russian railway workers are renovating the railway from Rason to Russia, from where it continues onto the Trans-Siberian Railway.

Despite substantial economic problems, quality of life was improving and wages were rising steadily in 2007. Small-scale private markets, known as janmadang, exist throughout the country and provide the population with imported food and commodities ranging from cosmetics to motorcycles in exchange for money. In 2009, the government carried out a currency redenomination with the aim to curb free market activity across the country, but the attempt failed, causing inflation rates to skyrocket, and eventually led to the lifting of the ban on free market trade.

One of few things North Korea has going for it economically is the massive amounts of natural resources. Coal and Iron Ore production are two of very few economic sectors North Korea beats it's southern neighbor in, producing roughly ten times the resources. It has substantial natural resources and is the world's 18th largest producer of iron and zinc, having the 22nd largest coal reserves in the world. It is also the 15th largest fluorite producer and 12th largest producer of copper and salt in Asia. Other major natural resources in production include lead, tungsten, graphite, magnesite, gold, pyrites, fluorspar, and hydropower.

Description of Your Nation's Government: North Korea is a self-described Juche (self-reliant) state, described by some observers as a de facto absolute monarchy or "hereditary dictatorship" with a pronounced cult of personality organized around Kim Il-sung (the founder of North Korea and the country's only president) and his late son, Kim Jong-il.

Small History of your nation till June 2014: The Korean Peninsula had been under Japanese occupation since 1905, officially annexed in 1910. After the second world war, Korea was split into two occupational zones, the United States occupying the south, the USSR the North. Kim Il-Sung took control of Northern Korea in 1946 and very quickly hopes of reunifying Korea evaporated as the two nations of the Peninsula walked their separate paths. Tensions escalated as both North and South Korea claimed the entire peninsula, culminating in a three year war in Korea that made the cold war a hell of a lot warmer. Since the war's inconclusive end, North Korea has dipped further and further into autocratic insanity.
Goals for the Nation: The glorious dream is to take over South Korea, but my realistic goal is probably to fix the severe issues plaguing the North Korean people while at the same time maintaining my authoritarian regime.
Why'd you choose this nation? Seemed like a fun ride. *Shrug*
RP Sample: I can't be bothered digging one up, you know me.

Lol

Isn't it just god damned typical that first off, China controls like 95% of the world market for them, and now a find that contains like double what the world's supply was estimated at prior to the find is discovered, and it's in NORTH KOREA. Still, super handy for me. Another handy, but non-related note, I found out that North Korea bought 12 Soviet submarines with missile launch capabilities in the early 90's. It has been thought that North Korea has no sea-borne launch capability, but though the submarines were bought for "Scrap", it's theorized North Korea either just fired them back up, or took the launching bits out and put them in something else.

On another tangent entirely, am I accepted?
