THE UN HAS FALLEN!
The year is 2031. Crimea has seceded from both Russia and Ukraine to become its own independent entity (With its capital in Sevastopol). The Euro has collapsed and France, Germany, Italy, and Spain are headed for bankruptcy. Russia, holding grudges against its western enemies, took this chance to invade Belarus, which has recently joined the EU before the mass bankruptcy. Although the EU wishes to help, it is practically incapable of doing so. The United States and Brazil are on the verge of full-scale war due to Brazil's invasion of the anarchist Venezuela and its support for Cuba. Meanwhile, in the far-east, Japan has been hit by a 9.3 earthquake. Tokyo has been devastated and Japan is in chaos. The Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe perished during the earthquake. South Korea protects itself and invades North Korea. The unified Korea becomes a superpower in economy and technology. Korea creates new man-made islands, including Songseo Island, an island the size of Jejudo. Meanwhile, China is recovering from mass terrorist attacks on various factories and major cities due to the pro-Russian government leaning towards Russian and Brazilian favour. Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou are nothing but burnt ashes. Tianjin and Shenzhen are potential candidates for new the capital city. China's population has diminished to a mere 690,420,000 people. Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Mongolia pressure the weakened China for its remaining resources and treasury. China loses its status as a world superpower while Korea and India are competing for China's position. Syria is in anarchy while Saudi Arabia is in control of Syria and Iran until a better solution arises. The Kingdom Tower in Dubai becomes the tallest in world, but also led Dubai into bankruptcy. Lesotho and South Africa unite peacefully. Algeria, Libya, Mozambique, Tunisia, Morocco, and Egypt greatly develop and provide some help to the EU, mainly to Portugal . Australia is hit by the largest tsunami up to date. Southeast of the country is submerged in water and New Zealand is hit as well. Due to the differing situations in different countries, the UN is in turmoil as the United States diminishes in power to lead the world. Brazil and Iran are kicked from the UN and North Korea is removed from the UN and the map itself. Eventually, the UN collapses. The goal of the game is to restore order of the UN, restore Australia, Brazil, Venezuela, Japan, China, the UAE, and the EU, and become the next leading power. (Choose a different capital if your capital is destroyed.) Vatican City and Venice use the Venice Technology to hover over ground.
Additional Information: UK becomes the strongest country in the world and supports the United States against Brazil, Cuba, and Russia. Scotland, Crimea, and Corsica are independent entities. China's capital is not Beijing. Japan's capital is not Tokyo. Australia's capital is not Canberra. You may choose to elect an existing city as a capital or build an entirely new one. The U.A.E, the EU (except Austria, Portugal, and Belgium), China, the United States, Japan, Australia, Brazil, and Canada diminish in power. Korea (United), South Africa, Mozambique, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Mongolia, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, Cuba, Scotland, Crimea, Corsica, Indonesia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, and Kazakhstan increase in power, due to the shifting economical influences and seclusion from other powers. The UN no longer has any effect. You cannot leave the EU if you are a country in the EU. EU countries are bankrupt from the start. Brazil, the United States, and Cuba are locked in war at the start. Belarus, the EU, and Ukraine are locked in war against Russia from the start. China and Japan are bankrupt from the start. World population has increased to 13.0 billion. Venezuela, Iran, Syria, Japan, and Australia are in anarchy. China cannot use nuclear energy. Microsoft, Apple, Google, Sony, and British Petroleum are bankrupt. Fashion is the largest industry (in general). Second is landscaping technology and third is agriculture, due to the invention of the vertical farms. Oil is much more expensive than ever before.
