The Ontarian and Manitoban Declaration of War on the Grand Duchy of Bundesburg in Parliament

For many years, our great nation has been in constant rivalry with the government and armed forces of Bundesburg after the decision, by the Bundesburger government, to establish colonial possessions in North America which consequently, has made the idea of invasion by a foreign power much more possible.

Our foreign minister, in Königsberg, returned to Ottawa, making us aware of a possible attempt to extend Bundesburger territory into Ontarian and Manitoban territory in order to establish a large, self-governing colony. If this was to occur, our freedom and democracy would be compromised and we would become subjects of a head of state, which uses his power as monarch to send his armed forces into sovereign territories and take over in order to establish colonies.

With this news, as well as the continued increasing of armed servicemen around the border, I regret to have to tell you that this country is at war with Bundesburg. This war, a war to keep the idea of freedom, peace and democracy, shall show Bundesburg and other oppressive nations that they cannot take away sovereignty of other nations.

I, as the formal Head of State of The United Socialist States of Ruthenia and Greater Scandinavia, must express the utmost contempt towards any preemptive Military action against another Sovereign State, which maintains rights within International Law to Arm its Military Forces and expand to unclaimed Land - I must take the assumption that the expansion which you tell of was of prior-unclaimed Land, as you did not specify.

If you cannot provide verifiable proof of this alleged War Mongering, then my position shall remain. The Grand Duchy of Bundesburg was within its rights as a Sovereign Nation and as such any Military Action will be in violation of International Law provided it is not based on solid Intelligence and/or a coordinated retaliation following an attack on your set-Borders.

I must also request other Nation's take a similar position on this issue - We owe it to the Civilians and Military Personnel whom rely on us, as Head's of States, to keep them safe.
Blood that is spilt for something which was avoidable is a travesty, I and those whom I represent will not stand for it.

[Ontario and Manitoba]

We have seen much more military activity near our border with the North American colony of Bundesburg and, in addition to this, our ambassador to Bundesburg has informed us that plans to expend colonial territories is a priority. As we don't know which colonial territory, we kneed to expect it to be the North American territory in order to not be surprised if it is.

We think these justify our decision to declare war and to defend our interests as a sovereign state.

The Peoples Republic of Westbridge condemns this declaration of war, Unless you provide proof of the supposed 'Invasion' of your territory. Until sufficient evidence is provided, We will maintain our position on this issue.

The reasons given are not satisfactory. You plan to spill blood of young men and women based on a very vague transmission received from your Ambassador to The Grand Duchy of Bundesburg; That is not acceptable and I condemn any Military action taken or plans to launch a preemptive attack.

I remain strong in staunchly opposing any Attack(s) against a Sovereign Nation with no prior clear signs of aggression.
I strongly suggest you seek Diplomatic Meetings with The Grand Duchy of Bundesburg within a neutral Nation.

We, the government of Bundesburg, on behalf of His Royal Highness, Grand Duke Georg III, hereby condemn this act of aggression and will pledge to defend our interests in North America and to defend our colonial citizens who wish to remain loyal to Bundesburg.

The reasons that you have gave to back up you declaration of war are not adequate and this gives us no choice but to declare war on your nation and to show the world that Bundesburg will not take any act of aggression lightly.

The Peoples Republic of Westbridge does NOT support any violence between the nations of Bundesburg and Ontario and Manitoba. We will remain neutral in this conflict and strongly suggest that this issue is resolved peacefully.

The Government of Bundesburg, even if no other nation is supportive of this, will fight to the last man and will defend our honour as a sovereign nation that broke away from a communist empire that did not care about rights of freedom and liberty and we will not stand for it today.

If we succeed, which we will, we will take control of Ontario and Manitoba and will punish those who seek to destroy our way of living.

My government whole heartedly supports Bundesburg in it's endeavours to defend its national and colonial interests. We will strive to help the government and armed forces of Bundesburg and condemns any declaration of war against the nation.

I withdraw all previous support for The Grand Duchy of Bundesburg on the grounds of Warmongering. I will not stand behind such acts and, if they are followed through, I condemn The Grand Duchy and her Government.

As it stands, the Prime Minister of Ontario and Manitoba has yet to decide - and democratically pass a motion within Parliament - on any form of Military Action against The Grand Duchy of Bundesburg. This means any-and-all acts of aggression from The Grand Duchy of Bundesburg are preemptive and based solely on a piece of writing which is yet to be passed, let-alone enacted.
If full-scale War is unleashed, I will pledge my full support with Ontario and Manitoba in regards to International Advocacy - I will, however, remain neutral in the sense of deploying Military support or providing Materials to her as a way of helping with the War Effort.
Any retaliatory strikes against The United Socialist States of Ruthenia and Greater Scandinavia will immediately result in mobilization of Defence Forces and the requesting of International Assistance, via the Security Council or directly contacting other neutral Nation's.

[Cesadia]

In view of the recent decision by the government of Ruthenia and Greater Scandinavia to withdraw support for Bundesburg, we have no choice but to see this as allying with the enemy and consequently, we have no choice to declare war on Ruthenia and Greater Scandinavia in order to defend Bundesburg.

I would like to take the time to thank Cesadia for its continued support in this time of great need and sacrifice. To say that I am disheartened by the fact that a fellow sovereign nation, Ruthenia and Greater Scandinavia to be precise, declaring its support for Ontario and Manitoba, especially since it is a communist nation which my country considers as a territorial political group is a gross exaggeration. I hope that together, Bundesburg and Cesadia will fight for the common cause and to defeat the alliance of evil that we face.

My country does not, in any way support an act of war unless provoked and the reasons put forward by Ontario and Manitoba aren't sufficient enough to fully justify a declaration of war and therefore, the Republic of Kakheti does not support either belligerents and will remain neutral but will, however, take part in diplomatic talks if need be and fully supports a peaceful solution.
