In the year 2050, two alliances were made. One was a capitalist alliance, while the other was a socialist alliance. Even those alliances have broken down and new Trade Unions are popping up. A space race started, and so did an arms race. The world was on the brink of war...

Greater Fascism Sends Airborne troops to occupy Western Africa in hope of gaining a more strategic position for the CTO.

Orveleca builds up its naval presence in the Mozambique Channel.

[Jaslandia]

Jaslandia sends infantry to occupy South Africa, Lesotho, and Swaziland. Stealth ships avoid the blockade by going around the east side of Madagascar. Construction of a new naval base at Durban begins.

The COLDR begins establishing defenses on the east coast, while building up large amounts of offensive and defensive forces in California and Alaska. Alaskan troops have begun training in winter conditions:

The COLDR has stopped contracting for the manufacture of AR-style weapons from Colt and Fabrique Nationale. They have entered into an agreement with the K-VAR Corporation to produce a new rilfe, designated the M74a2, to all branches of the armed forces. This rifle will be chambered in 5.56 and will be equipped with accessory rails, a right-side folding stock, and an ambidextrous safety. This rifle will be manufactured in the COLDR and will be issued to all branches of the armed forces. A similar rifle is depicted here:

In other news, COLDR newspapers have recently published a story about the mysterious explosion that destroyed the Izhmash factory in The Russian Federations. This factory manufactured a significant amount of weaponry for the Russian Military, and also happened to be the place where the K-VAR Corporation used to import their rifles from.

In response to Greater Fascism's barbaric occupation of Western Africa, Helio-hades has strengthened security on it's western border. Three Jungle Specialist Battalions are en route to the border areas adjacent to Helio-hades and the no-man's land to the northwest. At this time, all Helio-hades forces are staying within sovereign boundaries, but will be given the authority to engage any force that initiates conflict. We further urge Grandiniea to stand with Helio-hades and build-up forces on their northern boarder to counter GF encroachment.

The HH Second Fleet is coming south in preparation of an instigation of warfare from Orveleca and are ready to launch retaliatory strikes against key military and infrastructure targets.

Responding to the further encroachment by GF, Helio-Hades forces have started to engage GF forces in the jungles of Central Africa. Reports say that the fighting is tough by HH forces are making taking ground. Their experience with the terrain is a great advantage for HH troops. Long range bombing runs targeted at GF supply lines along the west African coast have delayed many ammunition and armor shipments to GF forces in Central Africa.

"I have heard of a place in the discussions of the other leaders, I believe they call it....Africa, how much raw materials do we have left?"

"We have enough for a further tonne of successful Dalekanium conversion" replied the Drone

"Then we must move further out. Contact the 1st division and organise a resource extraction unit, we must extract our resources from Africa."

"Warning, sir" Interrupted the Dalek military advisor "We have reports of hostile natives on that continent."

"Nonsense! We are the Daleks! Our operation will only take several days. We will have no issue protecting the extraction units from the natives. ALL HAIL THE PARADIGM!"

"However, Sir. One of the allies of the movement is Orveleca who has recently submitted an order for the modified beam distributers"

"Halt the production and issue an ultimatum to the government of Orveleca. Either they back down from the African movement or they do not recieve their weapons"

There is another land, simply an ocean away from your east coast, that has a much larger mineral supply. We call that land South America. South America has a smaller defensive force and a more tactically secure position for your Paradigm.
