Ideology- Respect, the house seeks to gain wealth, prestige and ultimately respect from the other houses. They have the aristocratic trappings you would expect. Spending money on presentation and maintaining an army larger than they have any right to command. They try to do things the best they can but individual members will also fold to pragmatism when they need to.
History- They try to trace their history thousands of years back but even they have to admit that like other houses they have little ability to confirm this. They've rarely been a big player in things before, not many breaks have been thrown their way and thus they're almost obscure however due to sitting back and developing their holdings, as well as profitable business with other planets they have managed to reach a spotlight of sorts. For the first time they have the kind of pull a great house has and they're playing up. They have a long history of working with the Ginaz Swordmasters and after the decline of the ginaz swordmasters, recruited many Sardaukar who had either defected (very rare) or finished their service. History- Will be added. House Arash began as a small assassination group on Karres Prime. This squad worked for the nobles on the planet killing them for money and managed to amass a large fortune. In the end the group became so rich they managed to buy themselves a very small noble title. Using this they used their skills to quickly rise among the nobles by blackmailing and murdering all who dared stand in their way. Eventually they were so high in standing that they were allowed to become the new rulers of the planet in case the current Major House were to be exterminated or fall out of favor with the Emperor or Landsraad. It was at this point the new scion of House Arash began the Year of A Thousand Blades. It was an entire year were House Arash were slowly killing anyone related to the Major House. Ander's early years were secretive, living with his mother out of the public eye, though rumours amongst the court were plenty. Eventually Erlend grew a conscience and recognised his child as his but the child's status as a bastard forever barred them from true inheritance. Instead Anders had to work every step of the way to be acknowledged as part of the family. There was some benefits, he was able to learn a diverse ammount of skills since he needed not be raised with the same strict and attentive upbringing of real royalty. He had a lot more freedom and had a lot of trust being raised within the household. His information collection is generally his strong point though he has a head of structure and the sciences. He is not as fully competent with mathematics as a mentat is but knows enough to compete in such a role.
