Defense of Greater Americania (Open, MT)

[Greater Americania]

On June 10, 2009 the Fascist State of Comaack and the Federal Socialist State of Yakuta invaded Greater Americania in an ourright act of Imperialism. Greater Americania had only previously declared war in the defence of it's own waters. Many nations joined the fight on Greater Americania's side, namely Bohovia, the Grand World Order, the Atreidond Islands, Upper Faustia, Martilia, and Kagetora. Many other nations have declared their support for Greater Americania.

Furious at Yakuta and Comaack, Greater Americania immediately dispatched 300,000 troops to coastline. The military began drawing more from it's reserves and deploying them to the coastline. Greater Americania, founder of the new anti-Yakutan coalition sends out an invite to all nations at war with Yakuta to join the coalition and assist in the defense of Greater Americania. President Curry even called in Field Marshall Henry Castle away from the ongoing war in Auckland to deal with the defense personnally.

OOC: I will not consider your (Yakuta and Comaack) land invasion to be legitimate as it did not take into account my initial defenses.

IC: As Yakutan and Comaackan ships entered Greater Americania waters, the NFGA dispatched a fleet of 500 ships, including 150 air craft carriers, 200 battleships, 50 sumbarines, and 100 destroyers from the coastal city of Oceania. The air craft carriers scrambled their fighters and the remaining ships began to form in attacking formations. The fighters launched the first offensive by relaying thousands of rockets at Yakutan ships.

I will monitor all troop deployments but if anyone posts anything absolutely ridiculous I'll demand you change it. The reason I've allowed myself so many initial defense troops is because I have an Army of 5 million and this is an invasion of the homeland, the area where the bulk of those forces are located.

I needn't explain this for the seasoned RPers. Handle this professionally, use proper grammar, and don't godmod.

3) Punishments

If you do something I consider to be godmodding or otherwise improper ettiquette I'll give you a warning. If you continuously do I'll declare your posts illegitimate, hence banning you from this RP.

"Magnificent, isn't it?" Fleet Admiral de Hue commented to Captain Pontran as they both glanced outside the office window overlooking the harbor. The Royal Navy was assigning the 3rd, 25th, and 30th fleets to assemble outside the famed trading city to work on a secret mission. "All assembled in a matter of days, this fleet, will have a most important task."

"What will this be?" The captain asked, "Yakuta....Bohovia.....where exactly are we going? Amsteldam has been kept this a secret from the lower ranked naval officers for a while now......" He paused to look away from the fleet outside of the window and proceeded to sit down and light a cigar.

"I'm worried that we might commit suicide.." He jokingly added as he leaned back in his chair.

"You have no need to worry....tea?" de Hue remarked as he stirred his glass. The Captain declined, and de Hue went on. "We are embarking to Greater Americania..."

This sentence quickly startled Captain Pontran, who acted as if a cold hand just smacked him in the face. Nearly jumping out of his seat he exclamed...."Greater Americania?!?! An IFA coun-"

"We have good reason to, just because past ODECON-IFA affairs weren't exactly "rosy", doesn't mean that we can't help them now in their time of need." de Hue interrupted. The Admiral rubbed his eyes, and then proceeded to unfold from the desk a large map of Greater Americania. "This is the layout of the nation of Greater Americania, provided by ZI6 and the Majesty Intelligence Agency. The Yakutan forces launched a surprise attack along the coastline here..." de Hue pointed. "Although Greater Americania had military forces stationed in the area, the Yakutan naval forces have proceeded to blockade a portion of their coastline and attempt to push inward, this is where we come in...What we do is sail to the conflicting areas and knock out a significant part of their invasion force navy."

"I get it....by reducing their naval forces, we will be able to trap them between the forces of Greater Americania and the ocean." Pontran examined.

On Behalf of His Royal Majesty King Victor Jackson the Third,

I am instructed to put the entirety of the Faustian Armed Forces at the disposal of the Anti-Yakuta coalition for the duration of the present hostilities. His Majesty notes that, in spite of his offers of mercy and leniency toward the Communist upstarts, they have acted to deliberately provoke the wrath of the civilized world. We shall not stand for this affront.

At present, the Faustian Air Force is able to immediately contribute four wings of F-22 Raptor stealth fighters, as well as several wings of air-to-ground fighter-bombers. Additionally, His Majesty's First Airborne Division is preparing to embark, while we estimate its arrival and full deployment will be completed within twenty four hours. It is our hope that we might be able to count on Americanian assistance as far as logistics support for our infantry, in order to allow greater transport capacity to be devoted to supplying our air component.

Naval forces are, unfortunately, sufficiently far enough from Americanian waters as to prevent their arrival in-theater for at least one week. It is our firm belief, however, that this conflict will be long concluded in the Coalition's favor by that point.

OOC: about 110 ships, and not necessarily, in Mexico as soon as you're 18 you are required to sign into the military, and it's economy is over 1 trillion. Also FYI, Yakuta is a leftist dictatorship merely flying the flag of socialism and communism, so no one gets paid for joining, it's just a requirement or else the troops that willingly enlisted before the war, get to use you as cannon fodder. Believe me, my entire purpose here is to be the bad guy.

General Cobb began marching the troops up the sandy beach to meet the Greater Americanian fleet, he was begining to regret supporting the chief of staffs mass conscription policy of "Anyone over the age of 11 and under 50" as he had said...but then again he should have realised that one day war would come to Ledarre. Soon he thought they would be far away in some other nation fighting for the king.
