The Huzuni Army is chiefly supplied by Belgium, and trained by the United States. Other major foreign suppliers are France and the UK. The equipment of the Huzuni Army is mostly, if not entirely, foreign-made, as the country has no defense industry. Though many weapons were supplied during the Cold War, some date back to British colonial days, and others are modern.
(Image)
The standard small arm of the Huzuni Army is the Belgian FN FAL, supplemented by the British-made version, the L1A1. This has been the standard-issue battle rifle since the late 1960s, and shows no signs of slowing down. Both versions are externally identical in most respects; the difference is in the use of metric measurements for the FAL and imperial for the L1A1, resulting in very limited parts interchangeability. Both rifles use the 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge, which is the most commonly used round in the Huzuni Military by far. 90% of the Army's small arms chamber it.
(Image)
Recently, these rifles have been supplemented in a very limited fashion with American M16A2 rifles from various sources including the United States itself. These burst-fire assault rifles are more modern and can mount more accessories, but require more maintenance and use a different round, 5.56x45mm NATO, which effectively limits their use to only the most elite troops. Other AR-15 family rifles are also seen in Huzuni hands.
(Image)
The French government recently made an offer to supply Huzuni with surplus FAMAS rifles, which fire the same round and use the same magazines. A handful of these bullpup guns have been delivered to Huzuni Army units for testing.
(Image)
The Huzuni Army, continuing the trend of Belgian small arms, uses the FN MAG as its chief (and officially, only) machine gun. It is mounted on vehicles as well as carried in the field. Some of these FN MAG machine guns are possibly Israeli-made, while others may be American M240B machine guns; all these are the same weapon, however.
A number of assorted handguns are also in Huzuni use. Pistols have never been standardized, and as such they use a myriad of rounds; officers are required to obtain their own sidearms, which have become symbols of prestige rather than actual weapons due to the difficulty in obtaining reliable pistols in Huzuni. The Browning Hi-Power, various models of Glock, TT-33, Webley Mk. VI, and M1911 are all seen in Huzuni service, as are many more.

Though the Huzuni government does not issue out submachineguns, their utility leads some soldiers to obtain them regardless. The Uzi and Sterling are the most common, though Sa 25 guns are also seen on occasion.

Marksmen in the Huzuni Army are not standardized, but do exist. They have a range of weapons available in small numbers. These range from old Lee-Enfield rifles to the more modern Remington 700. The latter has been supplied very recently by the US. The most common rifle, however, is the French FR F1 rifle, which the Huzuni government obtained in fairly large numbers as surplus in the late 1980s.
Small arms done! I might've gone a little bit overboard. I'll keep it simpler for the rest of 'em.

Anything Else (Anything can go here, from a background, to military service, to decorations): Carter Wright was born to an old money family who made their fortune in steel back in the 1900's. Carter aspires to be a politician some day, maybe even a United States Senator. Since his teenage years, Carter has been heavily involved with his mother's humanitarian group, The Wright Foundation. The Wright Foundation was founded by Vivian Wright a few years before Carter was born and focuses heavily on building schools, hospitals, bring electricity and clean water to 3rd world countries. Between summers at Yale, Carter would often go to parts of the world, teaching children to read and write while setting up an infrastructure for them to thrive in.
However, while in school, Carter focused mainly on his studies, while still hosting charity functions alongside his mother for the foundation. He graduated from Yale a year ago with honors, and rather than heading straight into politics, he took the time to rediscover himself and come to terms with the fact that he was indeed gay. Naturally his family treated and loved him just the same, however he did lose a few friends. A friend of his pushed him into the dating scene, where Carter ended up casually dating a law student. Carter was well known among the eastern seaboards high society, not just for his last name, but for the work he had sone and all he had accomplished at such a young age. Before heading to Capital Hill to get a start in politics, he decided it would be good to do another aid mission before his life became too busy to allow for such a thing.
Carter's ambition and passion for helping others landed TWF in the Republic of Huzuni. Where many other aid groups stay away from, TWF would not be deterred by the conflict going on. While Vivian Wright tends to matters back in the states, Carter along with 20 other TWF workers to aid the people of Huzuni.

Good.
The mission isn't too heavy on firepower, so they can't really outgun any government forces from either Zimbabwe or Huzuni, but they have superior firepower when it comes to facing the militias. The belligerents outnumber the peacekeepers though.

So, maybe the 3rd Battalion, Parachute regiment, and a small component from the army air corps?

At 9000 strong, the HNPF is the largest of the anti-government militias, and certainly the most formidable. The HNPF was created by Captain Hinga Koromah in 1987, with substantial assistance from Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe. Koromah, a defector from the HAF, created the HNPF to overthrow the existing government, with Voorhees being seen as an agent of the west. While not socialist, the HNPF has drawn its finest fighters from the ranks of HLF veterans, as well as Huzuni nationals who volunteered to fight with ZANLA during the war in Rhodesia. When it was first formed, the HNPF put forward the slogan, "Rats may hide behind masks. Power to the People". While its goal was clearly to change the government of Sierra Leone, the RUF gave little indication of what sort of government would replace it. The group does not advocate Marxism or any similar leftist ideology, nor does it advocate extreme nationalism or Fascism. It also did not claim to be a force fighting for a certain ethnic group or region. Launching raids across the border since 1988, the HNPF is an experienced force, albiet with mediocre training. Its finer elements, however, have received training from Mugabe's 5th Brigade. Armed mainly with small arms, the HNPF do posses some more advanced equipment, either supplied by the ZDF, or captured from the HAF.
Can there be an Indian peacekeeper contingent?

I like it, and of course there's going to be an Indian contingent. At most, they'd have a battalion of troops for their contingent.
If anyone's interested, we will also be needing war crimes investigators from the Hague.
