Welcome, everybody, to my second go at the Terranova concept- for those of you who don't know; this will be a highly in-depth account of the developing story of a planet called, as you may have guessed, Terranova, meaning 'new earth'. It is essentially Earth- not in everything, as nothing can match Earth exactly, but in everything from climate to size to cultural and political attributes. The Terranovans are essentially humans- in them we can see our own characteristics- our own issues, our own lives, our own interests. They wake up to a sunrise, work to feed their families, go back home with the aid of moonlight- but they are also independent in their own right, and represent something of a virgin, undiscovered society. We have discovered this planet, and colonization is imminent. Will the people of Earth learn from their own cross-subjugation and suffering, or will they see in an almost long lost relative species their own struggles, and work together towards a common goal of peace an mutual prosperity? History will shake this pristine planet, but only time can tell which direction it will fall, or to which degree it will rise.

They deployed satellites in order to construct a communications network, and they mapped the surface. After completing their mission, the Valkyrie shuttles entered the atmosphere and began to head for Lillipandria. They came upon the city-state of Egelsvik, which was on the western coastline of the continent. The shuttles could see skyscrapers and buildings in the distance. In an attempt to gain a foothold on Terra Nova, they were going to do a small strike in order to stick it to the enemy as fast as possible. Inside the shuttles, soldiers would man the railguns. Once they got within range, they began to open fire. The railguns inflicted devastating damage on the outer parts of the city-state. The shuttles also began to drop incendiary bombs and fire missiles. The soldiers began to hear air raid sirens sound all over the city-state, and they knew that an air force must be coming, so they began to pull back some.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, the Orson Military would begin to mobilize, and they began to head towards the portal that connected to Terranova. They were preparing to launch an invasion of Lillipandria.

It was dark. Too dark. Too god damn dark. The only light that lit up the loud plane was an occasional cigarette. You could hear the faint sounds of men throwing up in the back of the plane. Shit. The pilot looked below the plane on his screen and they saw the water of the Bojak Islands. Below were 100 ships,full of colonial soldiers. The worse one could be. Soon,shit will go down. Soon.

The Prowler known as Forward Unto Dawn, along with two Avenger Class Frigates, Displaced into the as-of-yet unknown star system. They were conducting recon. The Prolwer immediately began scans of the only habitable planet, and the Prolwers began standard procedure, drop Behemoth Class Walkers. Each Avenger carried five, so ten were dropped. All of them in and around the central, long, continent.

A squadron of 12 Bris-Ytter Aerocraft were on the scene in minutes, but maintained the directive not to engage. Instead, they flew brown flags of truce, and signaled to the attackers that they were on a mission of peace, and would be willing to negotiate with the demands of the attackers.

Of course, they introduced themselves as members of Torchwood, and allowed the locals to try on their trenchcoats, fedoras, and Keftas. The crews of the gargantuan Behemoth Class Walkers offered tours of their walkers, to try to ease tensions, as the machines obviously would cause some fright. They demonstrated fabricators, making toys for children, or dresses for the women.

And what are the kinds of luxury you say you will bestow upon us? We have tilled this land for centuries, but our hearts are devoted to peace"

You would have your freedoms, obviously. As for the luxuries, we can make your lives easier. We can harvest crops quickly, make goods instantly with fabricators, and streamline transportation and communications, amongst other things. All military service is voluntary."

A group of gunships sped toward Kebudian. Three companies of RAL troopers escorted Grand Duchy's ambassador. Upon their landing the RAL troopers were surrounded by children and curious adults. Ambassador Louis Devalia brought gifts of gems and advanced weaponry.

And I would like you to tell me about your people- who are your people? Where do you come from? Who do you ally yourself with in battle, and what good are their hearts? Which gods do you worship? What is it that you do to pay homage to your leader, and who is he?"

The shuttles touched down in an empty grass field 1 mile outside of the city. They then informed the Orson Empire that they had established a foothold on Terranova.

2000 sea carriers would begin to move through the portal on Earth into Terranova. They landed at the coastline near Egelsvick, which is where they had received the signal. The sea carriers would open up, and they began deploying 150,000 soldiers and 3000 tanks/artillery into the city. The soldiers met no opposition, due to the city had been completely abandoned. They established a temporary HQ in Egelsvick, and they began to set up equipment. The sea carriers left the shores and went back through the portal in order to get more troops.

The soldiers marched through the alien city, observing it, and looting any treasures they found.

We worship a single god, Alexander Mercer, Our Emperor, and the creator of all, including the Evolved. I am an Evolved. We can heal from almost any wound, and we can shapeshift. To pay homage to our master, we erect monuments, temples, and statues, and we worship him. Now for the demonstration." He reached into his trenchcoat, and pulled out a thin, small, Art deco device. He spoke the words, "Luxe". The device hummed, and its slot on the front glowed black and red. A few seconds later, a brand new, freshly printed copy of the Mercerist holy book emerged from the slot, bound in leather. Agent Smith also made a small golden bar, a pad of paper and a pencil, as well as a fedora.

Thahalvin Banashar, The Grand Bas of Kebudia, rode out on his Kofato to greet the delegation from abroad. As he rode to see them, he spoke with the most senior official in the Kebudian military, Tarikat Hizli Yumruk, who was also to meet the delegation. "The pearly-skinned people seem to be in a rush, my bas" said the Tarikat, rubbing Parafin Yagi, a type of waxy oil, on his face. "Indeed" responded Banashar "They run as though they fancy one day they should become a Bougantu horse. Already they have a saddle on, with all those pouches and belts they carry". Both men laughed and continued to ride.

The Forward Unto Dawn, monitoring planetary comms, intercepted the message, and arranged for an emissary to be sent to the city-state of Byir, as it was closest to the Chadidamba.

As the soldiers marched onwards, a bearded man wearing bloodstained ice blue robes hobbled out after them, waving to gain their attention. Although the soldiers could not understand him, he waved a blue and black piece of fabric, which he believed to be the colors of the attacker flag, given the emblems on the ships. "Stop at once" he said "I am a member of the local council of elders, and I am required by law to stop you and ask upon your motives. We are willing to negotiate and give you your demands by peace, but we do not know how to react to your killing"

Captain Ika would be called to form up with a first squad, the first squad in the OEF. A Tech would follow her through the portal, Captain Ika being a diplomat with the Crisis Team -- Once they would cross through the portal the tech would set down a beacon while Captain Ika would have a device which was a mixture of a loudspeaker and a radio, clearly and openly stating the peaceful intent of the Ocearan People and that other powers from Earth are arriving and that some of those powers pose a real and present danger to the population of The planet -- She also making it clear that Oceara will accept refugees under the Refugee-Citizen Program and the Individuality of Species Protection Acts.

The sea carriers would open up, and they began deploying 150,000 soldiers and 3000 tanks/artillery into the city. The soldiers met no opposition, due to the city had been completely abandoned. They established a temporary HQ in Egelsvick, and they began to set up equipment. The sea carriers left the shores and went back through the portal in order to get more troops.

The soldiers marched through the alien city, observing it, and looting any treasures they found.

As the soldiers marched onwards, a bearded man wearing bloodstained ice blue robes hobbled out after them, waving to gain their attention. Although the soldiers could not understand him, he waved a blue and black piece of fabric, which he believed to be the colors of the attacker flag, given the emblems on the ships.
