Lukquarel is a cold nation that receives a lot of snow. very year there is at least one blizzard that does some damage. However, gladly, the largest death toll we've had was only 5. That was back in 2004, when a storm blew across the Tevalcuriyot Mountains. The storm hit Roiui, Lukquarel City, Doffuine, and Schem pretty well

Since Yaramaqui is a tropical nation, Snow storms are non-existent MOST parts. In the Yasif-Hammadu mountain ranges within the central parts of Eastern Yaramaqui are the only parts of Yaramaqui that receive snow. The areas in Yaramaqui that have an elevation higher than 18,000 feet receive snow. There is only one town above this limit which is called Yahadi-Qumal which received a snow storm on Mount Ishqafan that received accumulations of 6' (feet) of snow.

(All mountains above 18,000 feet are in the south-central part of East Yaramaqui)

There was an icy blizzard in 2004 that shut down power through most of the country. Supplies and aid from Aequalitia were provided.

Rhodevus was hit by a major snowstorm in December of 1983. It snowed for 2 weeks straight and ended with an average 5 feet of snow. It was worst in Brevin, Wyle a semi large city with 6 feet of snow. After all the snow was cleared, there were 2 billion dollars worth of damage. all work and school was stopped for the duration of the storm and one week afterwards.

El Kuduro has quite cold and snowy winters throughout and what's classified as a snowstorm in El Kuduro is usually a little higher than most of Europe and the United States. From November 8 to November 17, 1890, a late hurricane that had formed further south in the Pacific froze when it reached El Kuduro. The areas with the lowest levels of accumulation got 40 inches (1 meter, roughly). Some mountainous areas to the north received as much as 312 inches (7.5 meters, roughly). Entire villages were buried from the sheer quantity of snow and the wind that blew it around into snow banks that trapped freezing residents indoors. What was so lethal about it was that it lingered over most of El Kuduro for eight days with temperatures averaging -40 F (-40 C). The death toll was estimated, at the time to be 4,500, however, modern estimates put the number between 6,000-7,000.

Severe snow storms are a common issue particularly in the highland and mountain areas which cover around 55% of the country. The worst being in 1988 in the city of Boudica. 7ft of snow and power was out for most of the city for 4 days. It was the largest peacetime mobilization in our history as the army was called in to help.

A cold air mass, combined with high moisture created torrential rain and wind in the oceanic parts of the country, and up to 3 feet of snow in the eastern mountains. Up to 21 inches of snow was reported in the nation's capital, Fjord Crossing. Up to an inch of ice and sleet fell in the swampy centre of the country.

The storm was named "Winter Storm Henrietta." This storm took place from December 8th to December 11th 1997.

Hyfling is mostly a temperate nation, because of this, it only snows in the mountains and Northern Hyfling. The worst snowstorm hit Hyfling's usually warm west, where most of our major cities are. The storm went on for over a week, worst affecting our largest cities: Double Bay, Holloway, Green River and Deloraine, trade was blacked between these cities, and over 2,000,000 people where killed, and cost 234 billion credits in damage and aid.

The storm is called 'The Storm of Ages' Since it mostly affected cities surrounding the Gulf of Ages.

Snow does not really bother us, so "snowstorms" are little more then minor inconveniences.

The good old Dennsalvania storm of February 89'. It started in the northwest area, and from there it spread and blanketed the entire region in snow. It was so bad that hologram lines were disconnected for a week. The winds short-circuited the robotic motherboards and left a large portion of citizens without operational electronics.

There is no forgetting the great snowstorm of '87, well in actually I don't remember much of it. There were a lot of pastel-colored suits, flamingoes in every street corner and a giraffe in sunglasses trying to pass as a polar bear...

Oh wait, were talking about actual snow? Never mind.

The 2009 Blizzard affected such a great area and caused temperatures to go haywire that snow was falling on the beaches of Concordia and the southern metropolis of Terragrigia. It was an unusually cold winter and temperatures were reaching record-breaking coldness. The geography of Vandelstein - mountainous in the North, West, and South - trapped frigid air in pockets all over the country.

Worst affected was the norther resort town of Vatel, which was completely cut-off from the rest of the country as the roads and airport were literally buried under 10 feet of snow. The capital, Helsingberg, was buried in 6 feet of snow and the Alva River running through it was completely frozen. To the east, the summer getaway of Concordia also received snow, which was highly unlikely. The city had received hail before, but not snow. To the south, Terragrigia - the financial capital of the country - almost shut down due to the unprecedented snowfall, but was kept running by dedicated workers who took care of the obstacles the snow had created.

The snow also caused a massive blackout in the North, plunging Helsingberg, Auschewein, Vatel, and many other cities and towns into darkness.

All in all, the snowstorm caused 120 million Grants (1.2 billion NSD/USD) in damage and took 79 lives.

Our biggest snowstorm on record was in 1948(49) when up to 27cm of snow fell in some areas, with the temperature dropping to about -19C, the coldest Lyonsland has ever been. This took place between December 26th 1948 and January 2nd 1949.

The snowstorm of November 1999 lasted many months and it was constantly snowing everywhere in the BFU until February the next year, in the coldest parts of our nation, it lasted to as late as May 2000.

It ended with 10 feet worth of snow falling, 11 feet in the colder areas, luckily the hot weather that came in June melted the snow.

Between November and February, Minoa becomes quite literally a winter wonderland. Snow usually reach as south as Tripoli, although it is not uncommon for the cold air to go further south. Speaking of this year, the whole country is snowed, and in mountainous areas railways and the trunk road network are usually the lifeline.

We're so used to snow that it doesn't really constitute a problem, in and of itself. We get three feet of snow overnight - which happens - we plow it out of the way and get on with things. Snowfall that shuts down the regions to our south for days just means the ski areas open early here. Freezing rain is a bigger problem, because the weight of the ice brings down trees and power lines, and the black ice it creates is basically impossible to drive on, even for experienced Eahlisc drivers.

The worst we've ever been affected by winter weather was in 1816... not because of volume of snow or ice damage, but because, as a result of a major volcanic eruption on the other side of the world in late 1814, the winter of 1815 basically did not end until the spring of 1817. There was snow and killing frost in Eahland, even down in the valleys, every month of 1816, and through Þrimilcemonaþ and Seremonaþ, when the crops should have been sprouting, it dropped below freezing every single day. The folk dealt with it well enough; we're used to cold weather and know how to stay warm. But most crops died, and those that didn't were barely worth harvesting. We were still a primarily agrarian society in those days, and the entire world was affected by the temperature drop, though most areas not so badly as we were, so grain prices shot up everywhere, and we couldn't afford to import enough of it. We didn't have enough grain to feed livestock, so they had to be slaughtered or starve. Famine and starvation were widespread. Our population dropped, and it took ten years to recover to former levels.

On the bright side, the sunsets are reported to have been spectacular.
