Today the idea of Evolution is widely accepted. Almost every school teaches children that humans came from apes, that the world is a harsh and old world. That we are but one stage in an endless cycle of extinction and change.
And so we say we are survivors, when all we are is one page of an endless novel.
And so we take our first steps.
Hello! Welcome, and thank you for checking out this roleplay! Now, before anybody flames me, I myself don't believe in evolution. Its just a fun thing to roleplay.
Now, this roleplay is going to involve extinction, change, survival and some other interesting plot points. The point of the roleplay, however, will be to survive as long as you can. A lot of the first people will die off, and hopefully restart. Therefore, as the ecosystem changes on the fictional world I have created, you will have to change with it. Starting at only an inch long, you will have to either fight or fly.
And so let us begin.
Gameplay
In this roleplay you will begin small and practically defenseless, stuck under water. Over time you will be able to evolve, either growing bigger, more defenses, or practically anything else you can think up. Not necessarily scientific, it will be interesting and allow you to create complex creatures. To begin with you will be one inch long, with simple organs. Over time this small creature will be able to grow into what you envision as the perfect creature.
Now, throughout this you will run into problems including lack of food, predators and changing temperature. You will be able to adapt to each of these, one at a time.... But when you have two at one point, you will have to decide on how to handle them both. In the beginning there will be little competition, but if you don't adapt to changes you will be destroyed.

Apologies for the short OP, but if you really think about it, there isn't much more I can write. If this really is too short Ill try and re-write it, but I would recommend joining now and at least trying it out.
Also, this will be used as an IC, as this is technically a branch-off of Galactic Conquest, a roleplay in which you control a race/FT nation and create alliances/wars. Therefore, likely on page two or further, I will tell you that there will be no more OOC on the thread and further OOC will then be posted on GC.
