The Gym, and Working out.

Postby Zykorinov » Thu Dec 03, 2009 4:54 pm

Whew.. just got back from the gym, and I am EXHAUSTED.
I do "conditioning" for my high school baseball team. And we go to the gym 3 times a week.
We run, lift weights, and generally just work out.
Do any of you NSGers take time from your oh-so-busy posting schedules to go to the gym, or work out? :P

I set the time aside. Then I sit down. Then nothing happens for a while. Then I feel a little sorry for myself. Then I wonder if there is something good on TV.

Earlier this year I was lifting weights 2x a week (upper body jank), and then doing running 3x a week. Now...I lift weights once every other week o_0.

I'm planning on getting back in my old habit as my new year's resolution.

I lift 4 times a week, and run 30 Laps on a gym track every day. I do this all for baseball, even though you do not need much working out for Baseball. :p

I have been doing so since the summer. Right now I am sick and have stayed away. I love working out the triceps.

I don't exercise nearly as much as I should. I ride my bike for about 45 minutes four or five times a week, plus I golf regularly and I use the TotalGym.

Now excuse me while I finish this bag of Goldfish I bought at Sam's Club.

If buy the gym you mean the international house of pancakes, then yes, I've been working on this round belly for a long time.

The Gym, and Working out.

Postby Celestial Divinities » Thu Dec 03, 2009 5:18 pm

For rowing every day we did a few hours of cardio work with ergs and bikes and treadmills and what not. Then there was actually running around the school a few times. when it warmed up we actually went out on the water and that wasn't nearly as bad.

Aside from walking quite a lot and biking on the weekends, I don't exercise regularly.
