Gracemeria, the capitol of the Republic of Eemeria...the shining jewel of the Eemerian people. Nobody would ever have believed terror would find its way to the streets of Eemeria....until today. Today was a dark day for the Eemerians as their Prime Minister and Deputy were caught in an explosion inside of the new Eemerian Capitol building. The Prime Minister David Archelius was gunned down by his brother Max Archelius....David thankfully survived but his Deputy Prime Minister Harriet Jones was killed as she stepped out of her office into the path of the crazed brother. Eemeria is in turmoil as the Minister of Defense begins actions to enact revenge against the Cpuernian people who are worshiping Max as their President. With the Prime Minister and the Deputy out of the picture the Ministers have come together to run the Eemerian government until David is back in good health or a new DPM is sworn in. The Capitol of Eemeria, Gracemeria, has erupted into panic as a radical group calling themselves, the demons of Eemeria have taken to the streets. They have caused riots, mass panic, and death in Gracemeria. The Eemerian Military and Police forces are doing what they can to stop them but the radical groups are supported by the Cpuernian government who is throwing mass chunks of money towards their cause. The Minister of Defense has declared martial law in the city and the radicals are beginning open combat against the military forces in the city.

Background:
This conflict is a spin off of the Eemerian canon involving the Sea Serpents. The Eemerian government is a fair system which allows people the freedoms they deserve. The Ministers are confused as to why the radicals have sprouted up as people are usually always content with the government. The Eemerian fighter squadron Demons of Razgriz has recently vanished after performing air patrols along the Cpuernian coast. The Eemerian 1st Air wing has been put on full alert for Cpuernian air raids.

The Eemerian Minister of Defense sat in his office while he looked at the LED display screen...it showed all Eemerian forces currently engaged in any kind of combat. He grimaced when he looked at the Cpuernian shoreline, the Eemerian fleet had destroyed all other ships in the area but he knew there were submarines...which meant danger for his sailors. He then looked over at the biggest screen...labeled Gracemeria. He never thought he would see the Jewel of the people up there....not after what happened with the Estovakians. He sighed as he sat down in his chair...he knew he needed to send more troops into the city but...what would it become...a military paradise? He signaled to his secretary who left the room and began making calls on her phone...he needed help...he needed Razgriz.

"This is Viper-21 on approach to airstrip-3 awaiting landing confirmation." Viper-21...better known as Bump (Jackson Dewitt) to his fellow airmen was just getting back from an air patrol around the city...he was excited because he had a hot date with his fellow airman (or woman?) Sophia "Joystick" Ferarian. She had been nicknamed Joystick because she flew her plane with a modified control setting which allowed for maximum control. "Yo Joystick, ready for that hot date?" Jackson laughed. He awaited a response but never got one..."Viper-21 to Air Control....I think i'm having some communication difficulties? Got anything down there?". Jackson got nothing but silence....he was confused...nothing had ever gone wrong with his coms before. He thought he heard something outside to his right so he turned around just in time to see three unmarked jets scream past him...he also saw the flaming wreckage of Bump's F-22 Raptor fall towards him. He pulled back on the control stick just in time, the other jet nearly took his wing off. "JOYSTICK, JOYSTICK, DO YOU COPY? I REPEAT JOYSTICK DO YOU COPY? TOWER, TOWER WE HAVE AN ISSUE, ANYONE? PLEASE!" Jackson didn't know what was going on, he only heard silence until the missile struck his wing sending him into a spiral towards the ground....he nearly blacked out but knew he had to stay with it, he reached down and grabbed the emergency launch button just as the plane struck a tree sending it up in a ball of flames. He landed about 40 feet from the wreckage...he knew he had broken something...just what...he saw lights in the distance...hopefully they were Eemerians.

That's funny though, I was not at all aware this was an ace-combat related thing. I played one AC game, but not the whole thing... I am certainly not familiar with the Emeria from that franchise... but I think I will do a little research.

OOC: Thank you all for your interest.....yes this is a little tease off the Ace Combat Series. I brought together some aspects of AC: 6 (Eemerian/Estovakia...etc.) and AC: The Unsung War (Razgriz..minor reference). This would be in modern times as it would take place sometimes after AC: 6 (2008) so you can say from 2008-2015. I would suggest helping the Eemerian side as the rebels are becoming more gruesome and are beginning to strip people of their basic human rights. For the dude who asked about the Dr. Who reference, yes I'm a huge Dr. Who fan and I always like Harriet Jones as a character...I simply took the name, nothing more.

All Applications have been accepted but I might swing the rp one way or another due to the mass amount of support for one side instead of the other. I'm not going to be turning this into a FULL-scale war as Eemeria is already involved in one war with Gretin and Cpuernia. I will probably end up bringing in a diplomatic stance towards the end and make peace with the radicals.

Jackson woke up in the RAB barracks....thankflly in his own bed...he needed something familiar right now. He was surrounded by doctors and nurses all bustling around with equipment. He looked around and saw about 14 other wounded airmen/women laying in their cots. He could hear groaning and cries from the wounded, what was going on? "Ma'am...what happened?" he asked to a passing nurse. "We were attacked...in force...thats all we know..we lost about 45 people...including your wingman...I'm sorry." She looked kind of flustered and bustled away. Jackson was on the verge of a break down..he needed fresh air...he climbed out of his cot and started walking towards a door when a doctor stopped him. "Son, you need to rest...you have a fractured leg." Jackson merely waved him out of the way and continued to hobble towards the door...."f*ck this cast" he thought to himself.

"We want freedom, We want freedom, We want freedom!"
The rioters outside the MCT were getting worse and worse...they wanted the freedom to establish a publicly recognized church...for their "Demons of Gracemeria."
"Why the f*ck are they rioting here? This is the Bloody Ministry of Trade? What can we do?" One of the guarding officers asked to another. "Hell if I know, they want the right to sacrifice anyone they deem unfit to live in Eemerian society....its like the Third f*cking Reich all over again." Just as the officer said that a radical broke through the line of officers and charged, firing randomly with a handgun into the line of officers...he struck three officers killing them and injuring 2 before being tackled.

"In a press conference following the funerals of three Eemerian Police officers who were killed while stationed outside the Ministry of Commerce and Trade, the Eemerian Minister of Defense stated that the deaths of our men and women, whether that be the Military or the forces here at home is an act of terrorism and war and it will be dealt with accordingly. The Eemerian officials have tried to compromise with the radicals on many occasions but have refused to agree with the sacrificial beliefs the radicals deem, "holy." Spokespeople for the "Demons of Eemeria" have said that they should have the right to execute unfit Eemerias as they see fit. This has been a stern NO from the Eemerian government and they have refused to agree...this has angered the Radicals which provoked the attack on the three officers. Bystanders and Eye-Witnesses have stated that the radicals were unprovoked and randomly attacked the men. The Eemerian National Guard has been moved into the streets of Gracemeria after this event, spokespeople for the Ministry of Defense have commented that this is NOT a military takeover, nor is martial law being implemented as of yet...it is merely for the safety of Gracemeria and her people. Political analysts have found it confusing why these radicals are only located in the capitol and not in any other parts of Eemeria. Later tonight we are having the Minister of Defense with us for an exclusive interview on how he is planning to fight these terrorists in our streets. Premier Li Song sat uncomfortably in his office as he waited for the phone to pick up. He impatiently checked his watch for what seemed like the millionth time. The Cpuernian government had not taken any of his calls. The Premier stood abruptly as the phone cut off for the tenth time.
"Alright, I'm done with this. They wouldn't be ignoring us if they wanted to explain themselves. They must be responsible," He muttered to himself.
"May!" he called, "Release a statement to the press. If the Cpuernian government does not forsake Max Archellius and forego its support of the Devils of Eemeria, the Huangshi Republic will assume that the attack on Eemerian aerial forces was carried out by Cpuernia. In light of that assumption, Huangshi will have no choice but to take hostile action in defense of our ally."
The secretary looked at him blankly.
"Sir... are you sure you want to threaten them with war? Cpuernia and its allies are very powerful..." she said worriedly.
"Cpuernia and its allies can go to hell!" the Premier snapped. "Mark my words--we will invade Cpuernia!"

The next day, at Songhai Naval Base
"Are you ready?" General Yaozu asked calmly.
"I... I don't know. I've never been in a war. The Donbachi Occupation was before I was born." the young lieutenant replied.
"Yes, I suppose it was," The General said quietly, watching the tanks, trucks, and soldiers as they moved onto the ships.
"We haven't received authorization to move out yet, but you can expect the orders within the next few days."
The Lieutenant nodded silently, and walked briskly away to attend to his duties.
General Yaozu watched him wistfully, wondering what the coming storm would bring.

The Minister of Defense was pleased that someone else was joining their cause to destroy Cpuernia...they were blindly following a mad man...Max had to he killed...and soon. Max had caused civil unrest in Gracemeria and it had to be stopped...Project Ares was to be put in action...it was time. The recent attack on the airbase was thought to be from the Cpuernians but he had his doubts...sadly he was tue only one. In other news Pearson Greves had been instated as the Deputy PM after a majority vote by the Eemerian people. It was time to free his nation. He presses a button on the LED screen and somewhere across Eemeria three Columbia Dropships took off from an airstrip hidden in the mountains. Cpuernia would burn, slowly.

"Aye Aye sir" replied the ensign as he handed him the hand mic.

This is Commander Davenport in charge of the Eemerian National Guard presence in Gracemeria. We accept your assistance in any way shape or form. A rival nation is supporting these radicals and they're gaining strength. We have attempted diplomacy time after time and they have just killed our diplomats. ooc: that's why I selected a time period after it. The Emmerian and Estovakian story ended with AC: 6. This is purely a fan fiction storyline and doesn't have to follow a specific curve...other then background of course. I really enjoyed the storyline of AC: 6 (and how it connects to previous games) so I wanted to do one. I changed a lot of details such as who was in charge etc...Garuda team plays a small role in this Canon (Garuda 1, Windhover, Skykid, etc. )will make small appearances through out my rps. I won't completely steal details though. I might bring back some old enemies bit nothing major.

Admilar west looked over the map in front of him. There appeared to be other fleets involved in the conflict and that wasn't part of the plan. They had been sending aid and supplies to the rebel factions for months to encourage this and he didn't want all that work to go away so quickly. He needed a new plan. Max had told him that he would open up better trade with Aaronia once the power shift had occurred. They just needed to make sure that the shift happened. If the Aaronian empire managed to get a little land or a new colony out of the deal, that was all the better.

West walked over to the radio. He wanted to get the troops on the ground safely and he could only think of one way to do it.

"Eemeria, this is Admiral West of the 4th fleet of Aaronia. We are here to aid you against the rebellion taking place within your borders,. We request permission to enter your waters and airspace to deliver peacekeeping troops and supplies."

West hoped this would work but he wanted a backup plan. He ordered the gunners to prepare to fire on the opposing fleets if necessary and to prepare the fighters for combat.

"Sir, we have multiple contacts southeast of our position, AWACS cannot identify through the IFF." said one of the comms techs on the bridge. Knight Commandant Lee looked at him. "Aye, have a pair of jets go check that out, weapons are tight at this time, so normal ROE applies here" he said looking at the radar screen.

Two black Birtonian F-12 multi-role fighters launched from the deck of the Chained Maiden.

A few minutes later the foreign fleet was within radar range of the jets. "This is Birtonian naval flight Whiskey-one-one-niner, due to heavy conflict in the region, Birtonia is requesting you identify yourself and your allegiance to forces in the immediate area, how copy over?" said the pilot, smooth as stone.
