Should the "Obama is a communist" crowd be taken seriously?

Postby Newmarduk » Wed Oct 23, 2013 1:20 pm

Since Barack Obama was elected U.S. President in 2008, a number of his (more extreme) critics claimed he was moving the American system towards Soviet-style communism, most notably some in the Tea Party movement, including a former actress whose name I will not mention (although she used to be on Saturday Night Live). Should such people be taken seriously?

They should be taken seriously in the sense that their political decisions influence your life.

Yes, they make up a significant voting block.

They should be taken seriously as an indicator of serious political illiteracy among the people of the USA.

They should be taken seriously in that they make a voting bloc that affects our lives. Their statements should be taken seriously as those of a group of people out of touch with reality or willing to do anything to win, including lie. Thus they should be taken as a serious threat to general safety.

Anyone with a gun to my head gets taken seriously. Whether he's asking me for my money or asking me if I'm a spy for the moon monkeys.

I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

If President Obama is a Communist, he's not doing a very good job of it. I'm an American liberal, and there are times I'm disappointed with the Administration.
If the conservatives think he's a Communist, then they don't know what Communism is!

Sometimes when I'm at my uni's library, I hear this older woman telling another relatively-loud about how Obamacare is 'socialist' and so on. It does get annoying after a while.

It's not in the quiet section of the library though, thankfully.

They should be taken seriously to the point that there's too many of them out there.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.
Where is your God-Emperor now?

Yes, because all evidence shows him to be a secret, Canadian Communists...gay marriage- obviously a scheme by which gays will slowly convert other men into gayness, and decrease our population, and therefore our ability to hold off the Northern Horde...Obamacare- obviously trying to ease us into the Canadian way of life...and since he is a Canadian agent, he is obviously a Socialist Commie.

Yes, in fact I have proof of this, his secret plans from the White House, as obtained by the agents of the great and powerful Reptillian Overlord of Humanity, Queen Elizabeth II. I'm not going to post them though because I'm scared that she'll send her shapeshifters after me and make me one of her slaves.

Of course not.
Those people are part of an elaborate false-flag operation designed to keep us complacent and uninformed about Obama's status as a lizard-man Bilderberger who's probably in secret negotiations with the nymphomaniac Venusian jellyfsh to give up all our bodily orifices to their sick desires at this very moment!

Considering a number of them are elected to Congress we have no choice.

I take them a serious as I do that half naked guy running down the street shouting about how root beer is laced with mind control drugs and that the only way to thwart it is wrapping oneself in rotting cabbage leaves.
