Rush is a good band, although I wouldn't call them the best.

I listen to them, though I only have one album (their first one). As for being the best, no, they are not. Led Zeppelin is, though Rush is one of my top ten favorites.

Rush is okay. I used to be in the whole "Rush is GOD> ZOMG!!!" phase, when I was 16 or so. Then I actually listened to their music for a little while, and it just started hurting my head. As one poster said, Neil Pert is the only good thing about Rush.

Yeah, I like Rush a lot. Geddy's voice is shit, yeah, but the band's chops are awesome. I'd say my fave song is "Tom Sawyer", if only 'cos it's so damn catchy.

I read the post, but I didn't really understand how you could say his voice works. I was trying to prove that, objectively speaking, it's a bad voice. Sure, it might work from a certain point of view, but not mine. :)

That said, he is one of the best bassists ever.
