They then destroyed our countries, smashed all our militaries. We retreated to a few zones deemed safe with tens of thousands of people living underground. Some underground bunkers, some abandoned metros. Anywhere someone would hope to survive. But the worst part of it all..is that its no longer our world. Earth is changed, they changed it, transforming large parts of our world into whatever the hell their ecosystem is. Earthfall is an RP were the Earth was assaulted by extraterrestrials of Humanoid appearence (no one has seen one without their armor on, or lived to tell about it). Earth being already divided was unable to unite in time to stop it and as a result Humanity was forced to retreat. Billions died, some estimated out of the more than 7 Billion Humans on Earth in 2015 when the invasion started only about 500 Million still remain. Most of which are still unaccounted for as Infrastructure is largely still smashed to ruins.
Now in the Present the RP starts on May 1st, 2035 and will hopefully go over the course of multiple chapters. As each member is part of a group trying to survive after their plane goes down near New York City by a fierce electrical storm. As a single Grey (what the aliens are called) has not been seen in twenty years Humanity is beginning to reach out again. The Coalition of Man or COM is formed in 2020 as a unitary government based in Montreal Canada. All of the Earths remaining military has been united into EDCOM or Earth Defence Command based out of Prince Edwards Island, Canada.
Now back to the plane, the plane the Rpers are on was transporting a sarcophagus recovered from Roswell and was intransit to EDCOMHQ. Which may provide valuable information in Grey Tech and hopefully provide answers asto what happened twenty years ago. Now the Sarcophagus does have an advanced form of Anti-Grav so a single Rper can push or pull it relatively easy despite its bulk (alittle bigger than a normal coffin).
So you can be anything from a scientist to a Spec Ops soldier/officer who has survived the plane crash. In this RP it is very survival oriented, so staying as a group is advised, remember there are numerous dangers now that Earth has been changed.
