Ran a game in my T14, got 4 kills. It was nice.

Whenever I run my E-75 in a largely T8 game where there's two or three other T9's I feel like a Juggernaut cause everything bounces off everywhere. I actually won a barrel stuffing battle with an M103, T29, and a Tiger II. While I only had like 10% hp left I still had some unbelievable bounces.

Also I checked in Tank Inspector. The side armor of the IS-3 has an effective thickness of between 150mm and 165mm. The gun you were using has 175mm of thickness and considering even the slightest angle can increase that plus tacking into account randomization I'm not at all surprised you didn't penetrate that IS-3.

However the side of the tank that you see is 30mm of sloped spaced armor making a total effective armor thickness of around 155mm and 165mm of side armor. One thing you should understand is never trust the listed stat on the card because it is rarely true.

It has 175mm of AVERAGE penetration and can have a pen value per shot as high as 218mm or as low as 43mm that's just how the mechanic works it's not bullshit and it's not unreasonable. Especially considering that the E75 has only 125mm of side armor. In general when the average penetration is only 10mm more than the armor you are penetrating your chances of penetrating are a lot lower.
