Welcome to Tomio Hara University High School, a school dedicated to raising young girls into upstanding women in society. The school has a striking heritage in its girls Sensha-Do team. As such it has grown to the point that it has even begun competing on the international level, on par with schools such as the Kuromorimine Girls High School. It is fairly strict with its entrance criteria and only allows some of the best girls in to its program.
As you can tell this is a Girls und Panzer roleplay. It is about high school/ college aged girls taking part in Sensha-Do, the art of piloting tanks. Each Nation involved will roleplay the entire team of a tank on the schools team, while this seems like much only the tanks commander will be a primary character with the others being secondary.
Sensha-Do Rules (straight from the anime):
Participating Vehicles: Vehicles are restricted to those that were designed and tested before 8/15/1945 and/or vehicles that use equipment that was planned for use in that era. (Tanks that were still in the planning stage at that time can be used based on decisions passed by the League.)
Valid Rounds: Use only approved rounds by the Tankery League. Producing or modifying rounds or ammunition is prohibited.
Additional Equipment #1: For the protection of the crew, the safety measure of having the inside of the tank plated with League-approved armor is enforced.
Additional Equipment #2: A League-approved "judging device" is installed into each participating tank. The judging device can automatically calculate a round's power, armor strike location, and entry angle based on the information sent by a chip installed in each round.
Tankery Battle Styles: Total Annihilation & Flag-Style
Total Annihilation: The first team to have all of its tanks incapacitated, loses the match.
Flag-Style: The first team to have its flag-tank incapacitated, loses the match. (Used in national tournaments)
Pre-semifinal matches allow up to 10 vehicles, Semifinal matches allow 15, and final's matches allow 20.

born into an upper-middle class family, Lupa had a fairly average childhood, passing elementary school rather easily. When she was twelve, she was responsible for an accident that resulted in her grandparents' barn being burnt to the ground. While no one knew it was her, Lupa was wracked with guilt and anxiety.
When she started attending Reiver Academy, tankery had not yet been revived, the sport falling into the pages of history at the school. However, the student council president, and granddaughter of the founder, decided to begin plans to revive it, trading in some of the old, dusty, lackluster Shermans, excluding one M4 and a Jumbo, for a more diverse arsenal.
In school, she found out that Wolf, a student she knew from back home, was also attending. Their meeting was awkward, and she didn't appreciate the encounter as much as Lupa did.
Overtime, Lupa met Erika, a British exchange student who was trying to muster up the courage to join the debate club; and Edda, an immigrant from Rome whom she literally bumped into while going to the restroom. Edda's cheery personality unnerved Lupa somewhat, but she was happy to meet a kind soul.
The four acquaintances became closer and closer, although Wolf resisted the effort to befriend her, eventually she joined out of force of habit. When tankery began, the four were reluctant to join, but the benefits outweighed the risk. The next day, they attended the first meeting and were given an Italian tank, a M11/39. Their assigned name was the "Dog Team."
The tank meant for three instead housed four and was cramped as a result. Surprisingly, the first match they were in, a practice round, they managed to survive long enough to take out another team, one with a Semovente 75/34. At the end of the battle, only the M11 and a T-28 were left, and the two ended up knocking one another out.
They participated in several battles, moving up the tiers of Italian tanks, before reaching the Carro Armato M15/42. It was during that time that they came up with the team name Visigoths, after a ferocious round with several Panzer IV's. The Academy even made it to the nationals, winning three rounds. On the second one, the Dog Team's crowning moment of badassness, they received a letter inviting them to a new school.
At first, Lupa considered burning the letter, not wanting to disappoint her friends, who she came to view as family. However, Erika convinced her otherwise, and she brought it up at a meeting. In a surprising twist, the other teams and student council were supportive and a tearful Lupa swore to make them all proud.

in the national championships, the Visigoths' fellow tanks were incapacitated by a group of M4 Shermans, leaving the M15 alone against three other tanks much larger and stronger than it. The four Visigoths put their heads together, with Edda formulating a plan. Performing a quick hit and run, they surprised the Shermans, who gave chase. The arena was marshy, and forested, and the M15 was easily hidden. The three tanks didn't realize that the Carro had lead them into a muddy part of the arena, and their tracks began to sink, trapping them. Wolf proceeded to gun them down from a nearby hilltop, securing the second victory of the Reiver Academy.

- On the surface, Mikoto is your normal happy-go-lucky, genki girl. Born to Japanese parents in Hokkaido, Mikoto has always been the alpha, the one who is always at the centre of attention. Despite her popularity and the adulation of her peers, Mikoto was secretly lonely during her years in primary school, and intuitively felt that her so-called friends were only using her as a means of gaining recognition and popularity. Thus, she harboured a sense of suspicion towards almost everybody - only her family members were able to earn her complete and implicit trust. It was not until she graduated and met the one she considered to be her first true friend, Akiho Kanata, that she began to be more open and trusting of people. It was Mikoto who managed to convince the team to join tankery. Mikoto has above-average academic performance, and has been rather capable on the sports field ever since she met Akira and Miiko, who each favoured sports of their own and would invariably rope them in for matches and training. - Mana was born to a family with military pedigree, with her father being a colonel in the JSDF and her mother a daughter of a former air force lieutenant general. She was, of course, expected to eventually serve in the army, following in her father's and grandfather's footsteps, and Mana's father started to bring her up for the purpose of easing her into the Japanese military once she reached military age. After she learned to walk, Mana was given a paintball gun by her father, who would encourage Mana to join in the weekly family games of paintball. Mana learned quickly and was able to hold her own against her more capable and experienced family members at the tender age of 9. Once she graduated from primary school, Mana was selected to attend a special military training camp that was open to the offspring of active military personnel, and thanks to her upbringing, was awarded the Golden Rifle award for best marksman during her time at the camp. Mana is a generally reserved person; however, she tends to open up to people who she is close to, such as the Nova group. Is a tsundere, and even has her own fanclub formed by her adoring fans. Has a weakness for cute things, but is prevented from showing her affection to them due to fear of embarrassing herself.

- The heir of a respected kendo dojo back in Japan, Akira is a 3-dan kendo practitioner. However, this is only due to the stringent rules regarding progression - in terms of ability, Akira is already at the level of a 6-dan practitioner, thanks to her family's special Reizei-ryu. Her kendo has made Akira a good athlete; however, she is also not lacking in her studies. Akira is pretty much ahead of everyone in her class in chemistry, which she became interested in after watching her mother mix some healing salve for kendo injuries. She has since turned her attention to conducting experiments with explosives. Unfortunately, her experiments are what the school board apparently consider "arson", thus Akira has been banned from using the school's facilities for her experiments. Akira now focuses her time in school on her kendo practice and schoolwork - she conducts her shady activities back in the safety of her rented house. Without the knowledge of her landlord, of course. Regularly acts as a tsukkomi in the group's daily life.

- Not unlike Mana in terms of personality, Miiko is viewed as the strong, silent type out in public. However, she is actually a person with a heart of gold - Miiko loves cats and can't resist taking in strays, regularly prepares bento for her team members, and is unhesitant of helping those in need. Some call Miiko the "sane" one of the Nova team, as she is widely viewed to be the only remaining person in Nova who doesn't have a few screws loose in her head. She is very humble despite her academic excellence, although English seems to be her Achilles' heel. Befitting her image, Miiko also excels in sports, with representatives from the baseball and football clubs desperately stalking her in order to persuade her to join their clubs. Ironically enough, Miiko opted for the shogi club, while at the same time joined tankery together with her trusty friends.

- The shirt in her pic pretty much says it all. Kanata views herself as the top dog wherever she goes - be it in tankery, racing Mana and Mikoto to the cafeteria for lunch, or trying to grab the last veal sandwich from the lunch wagon. Comically enough, she somehow contrives to fail spectacularly in almost everything of the sort. An exceedingly lazy person, Kanata will try to take a shortcut every time she has a goal, and invariably her shortcuts and tricks designed to lessen her workload backfire on her. The undisputed comic character of the group, Kanata is able to bring a smile to Nova's faces with her ridiculous antics and behaviour. The boke in the group, and regularly gets hit by whatever item Akira has in hand at the moment, usually a shinai. Underneath her silly demeanour, Kanata is actually capable of buckling down and working hard, and is capable of great feats such as cramming all night for an exam, only to score better than everyone else, including Miiko. This has made her the butt of many jokes of the Nova team.

When Yuki was six her father died of a heart attack. Two years later when Yuki was five Shiori fell in love with Ryan McDonald a US army Colonel of Irish decent who had lost his wife three years ago. Yuki having barely known her father had no problems making the switch. She also had no problems getting along with Ryan's own son Wilson, who was two years older than her. Her father managed to get a permanent station in Japan and such Yuki grew up in her home country.
Growing up on a military child can be rough. For Yuki it was both fun and troublesome. At a young age her step brother introduced her to Airsoft, which eventually led to her love of riflery and everything military. When she entered middle school her mother and father pushed for her to start taking up tankery. Eventually she gained a lot of praise from adults for her skills in tankery, airsoft, and other shooting sports. However, she also received a lot of flak from other students for her over enthusiasm about the military and its equipment. Without her step brother around (for he had gone off to highschool) she began to feel quite lonely. There was however one girl who did connect with her. Yew Suzuki who was the daughter of a Japanese mother and Swedish mother who worked at the Embassy. The two bonded in a surprisingly different way than one would expect. They found connection in their love for the outdoors. Soon both were picking up on each others hobbies and they were inseparable. When it was time to move on to high school they went together.
At the will of her father Yuki ended up attending Saunders High. There Yuki was assigned to an M4 Sherman with 75mm main gun. Early on Yuki and her crew proved themselves as masters of ambush and sniping. This earned the crew a place as one of Saunders Firefly crews. The crew then proved themselves as one of the schools best teams in a battle against Pravada. Saunders was loosing and was down to about half of their strength and had already lost one of their fireflies along Kei. Yuki and the two other tanks under her command had gotten seperated from the main force. Yuki and her crew then hatched a brilliant plan. Yuki and her crew painted half of their fireflys barrel white on the bottom with a waving pattern leaving the top green, and then put a white line where the waves ended. This made it so that their tank looked like a normal 75mm Sherman, instead of Firefly, when viewed from a distance. Yuki then sent a message to the main saunders force to draw out Pravada by making it look like one of their 75mm Sherman's was a Firefly. Sure enough Pravada chased after the main force hoping to remove the last of the Saunders tank killers. Yuki and her small force than maneuvered in behind the Pravada forces catching the team in a surprise rear attack. The Saunders main force then turned around and engaged Pravada head on. Because of this Saunders won. It was shortly after this victory that Yuki and her crew were invited to a new school.
Yuki is at many times strict when it comes to operations of tanks or other military equipment, but when it comes to just hanging out she is care free and fun. She has a love for the outdoors and is friendly and good at making friends. She and Yew attracted attention in high school for their abilities to fluently speak foreign languages that were difficult to learn for most.
When it comes to tankery and airsoft Yuki is a calm and collected leader, capable of making quick and tough decisions to pull her team through. Shell follows her orders to the letter, but may improvise while completing them.

Bio: Shun was born into a family with a long tradition of martial arts mastery. As was customary in her family she would begin training at the age of five. Though presented with every type of possible martial art form from hand to hand, to the many different kinds of weaponry, Shun was driven towards one specific art. Archery. Shun had always someone who strove for precision, and in her mind nothing was more precise then landing a perfect bulls-eye with a bow and arrow. So Shun took up Kyūdō, and before long had mastered it. This was met by much praise from her family and she was hailed as a child prodigy. Shun however became board and was not content simply having mastered one art form. So she decided to pursue other ranged martial arts. She first decided to study the English Longbow, but easily mastered that. She followed this up with several different kinds of archery from around the world and soon became bored with all of them shortly after she picked up the bow. She decided at that point to pursue a more contemporary art, Firearms marksmanship. While at first she was pleased by the challenge she again mastered the art, Pistol and riflery. By that time she was just entering high school. She needed something more challenging, something greater. That was when her eyes turned towards tankery. There was her challenge, there was her answer. And so she began looking at schools with excellent tankery programs. Though Kuromuromine would have been the obvious choice Shun fought with her parents not to attend. She was tired of master teaching her everything she needed to know, maybe it was learning from the masters that was causing her to get so board. So she eventually chose the school she felt would have the best tanks for her to learn in, and the least master like teachers. This school was Saunders high.
Shun takes Tankery very seriously giving it her all, with the passion and grace of a true martial artist. Her personality is surprisingly different. When she opens her mouth it becomes obvious that Shun is abrasive and often rude to others, primarily people she sees as inferior to herself or those she doesn't know.

She followed this up with several different kinds of archery from around the world and soon became bored with all of them shortly after she picked up the bow. She decided at that point to pursue a more contemporary art, Firearms marksmanship. While at first she was pleased by the challenge she again mastered the art, Pistol and riflery. By that time she was just entering high school. She needed something more challenging, something greater. That was when her eyes turned towards tankery. There was her challenge, there was her answer. And so she began looking at schools with excellent tankery programs. Though Kuromuromine would have been the obvious choice Shun fought with her parents not to attend. She was tired of master teaching her everything she needed to know, maybe it was learning from the masters that was causing her to get so board. So she eventually chose the school she felt would have the best tanks for her to learn in, and the least master like teachers. This school was Saunders high.
Shun takes Tankery very seriously giving it her all, with the passion and grace of a true martial artist. Her personality is surprisingly different. When she opens her mouth it becomes obvious that Shun is abrasive and often rude to others, primarily people she sees as inferior to herself or those she doesn't know.

Named for the cancer healing tree, Yew is just as much a healer. She quickly took an affinity for medicine and helping people. She met her best friend Yuki in elementary school and since then they have been inseparable. Yuki and her brother even got Yew into airsoft, and Yew became a staple member of the team as their medic. The same could be said for tankery. At first Yew's mother was put off by the girls obsession with airsoft and tanks, though her father found it quite amusing, and was worried it would put her daughter off the path of becoming a doctor. She would spend hours watching her dad fix different vehicles and picking up the tricks of the trade. As such shes just as much the teams repairman along with being the loader, she is sometimes even able to make hasty repairs while still in the field. Working with heavy tractor and combine parts has made loading shells a cake walk for her, making her a more than capable loader.
