(They are also then million credits each. So even if they were available to citizens not everyone could just walk into a store, and buy one.)

(Crescendo still has a ton of resources, millions of credits are nothing.

(Soon they'll slip up, and their house of cards will come tumbling down. Don't forget both the Caldari, and inquisition are still very active in hunting them down.)
If at first you don't succeed try again with an equally horrible plan.

The cells are not attacking any more, they are just buying stuff. You will destroy the cells you know of, and then they disappear.

(They are still hunting the Cresendo down. They will not stop until they are 100% certain they are gone, and they have unlimited power to do so.)

Sluiss

Empire forces are currently engaged in a brutal fight in orbit around the newly discovered planet of Sluiss. The native alien species seems to have gotten the gist of Impervious attentions, and is now allowing for reaper-class battleships to descend planet side to directly combat the Flood. Vast sections of the planet are being vaporized, however, due to containment procedures.

More Union colonies sprung up, most of them Krogan. The massive boom in Krogan population was pulling them even with the Human population. Soon enough, the Krogan would be the most populous race in the Union. With their psychology and disposition, they were seemingly locked into duty among the armed forces. The now forty colonies were developing, expanding the navy and armies. The construction of the defense network surrounding Karaan was nearly complete, only the massive grid around Renault still under construction. When combined with the planetary shields, the grid would be strong enough to fend off nearly any fleet. The station was a hub of commerce and military power. Its massive weapons were almost daring an attack. The joint crew of Caldari, Humans, and even a few Turians were a bright symbol of alien cooperation.

Citadel

Clavain walked into the Chancellor's office to find him in a frenzy.
"What seems to be the problem?" He asked.

Office Building 06, (Blood Raven's Capitol)

A dark shadow spead through the darkness. As it came to the final door in the hallway, a figure stepped into it's path.
"HAHAHA! Did you think you were going to kill the Boss this easily?!?!" a wicked voice asked, smiling.
"No." The figure answered. The man's smile faded.
A blade pushed through his chest. It carved a hole into the door behind him. As he dropped - shock in his dying eyes - the figure spoke.
"I thought you would put up more of a fight."
