"We're going to use your genes for many purposes, some medical, some militarily. Grazhog the Undefeatable Krogan will be an idol amongst the Tau Empire" he said as he scraped his scalpel along the Krogans leathery hide, taking off a few flakes of skin.

The skyline of Gaven is erupting with new skyscrapers and buildings, as new hotels and other tourist attractions spring up in light of the upcoming pod racing event. The Council is pouring billions of credits into the project, as it is more or less intended to show of the mighty and impervious Empire.

The HWC introduced civilian and military versions of the Intelli-pad 2. It is expected to battle the Pip-Boy 2000 for the top spot in Renaurian markets. It's popularity in Imperium markets was an unkown.

The Caldari offer was refused. For 400 Billion and the terraforming of Karaan, the Union would make cold fusion reactors available for purchase from the HWC. Patents are passed, giving the HWC a monopoly on cold fusion technology.

With the massive boom and competition in the entertainment market, all companies in the sector made massive profits. The Caldari Corp didn't manage to gain on the competition, pushing the whole sector forward with its efforts to advance its own standing.

The HWC sent a message to New Earth Empire.

The Union's leadership agreed to the Tau empire's offer, sending Kratesh Grazhog and his Krantt, the greatest living Krogan warriors. To compensate the Krogan warlord, he was given a spot on the newly formed Council of the Union. Each race in the Union was entitled to one representative.

Nickolai in Response asked what they have to offer their society. As the Empire has a trade agreement already standing. This may arise many difficulties.

(That's a shame, you probably couldn't ever sell those profitably in either mine or Leichs markets, since we use omni tools, which are like x10000 times better than any pip boy or tablet thingy. If you did by any chance develop omni tools, you'd couldn't sell them in enough qauntity since there's already a monopoly on omni tools. Plus you'd be developing them from scratch since you can't take tech from an already patented peice of equipment, (since qaurians are masters of tech, they'd be able to tell.) And therefore they'd be of lower quality than the regular omni tools. So it seems the omni tool business is too dominated )

As the time had gone by not much had been heard of the Forerunners, their borders seemed to be untouched yet still they existed. Within the borders of their space small shield worlds had been and are being constructed, acting as to keep tabs on the outer colonies, those of which are Tier 7-5 planets on the technological achievement tiers or even below, nature preserves of peace and beauty. They were also to protect the construction worlds needed to build the shield worlds themselves, and other structures and ships. The outer colonies seemed to be less advanced than the inner, of which at the center was highly advanced, holding the Transcendence and other colonies and planets alike, along with other nature reserves and the like. It could become apparent that the outer colonies could be seen to be a buffer zone for the inner, that or the Forerunners still saw themselves as protectors, on a small scale at least.

In order to combat the latest attack on the Transcendence it has been shown that the Forerunners had finally gotten round to making an entrance into the galaxy's trade, particularly looking for weapons, armour, stealth capabilities and increased comping and firewall type software etc.

Around one of the outer colony worlds, two warships could be spotted making their way into Forerunner territory. As of protocol three Forerunner planetary defense ships made contact and approached, weapons armed and the men ready for combat, due to intense and borderline brutal training regime which had been implemented recently after the attacks. A message was sent; "This is the Forerunner contact force for this world, please state your name, nation, if applicable, and reason for entering within the borders of Forerunner space."

Installation 00

As the keyship watched as a UNSC ship made it's way through a portal alarms sounded; potential threat detected. However with the hailing of the ship they accepted, however with weapons charged. As they had recently tried to destroy the halo array Installation 00 had to be protected at all costs. However with the recent forthcoming of the Librarian and her passion for Humans some form of leeway had been given.

The Forerunner ship received this transmission: "Forerunner commander, this is Commander Miranda Keyes of the UNSC In Amber Clad. I hope we have moved on from our previous disagreements and can agree that we are here peacefully and intend no harm to you or the Installation."

Pieces of a puzzle had began to fall into place; UEG demands a keyship, denied. Keyship is stolen after a well designed operation. UEG opens a rupture to installation 00, which requires a keyship to do so.

Impervious ships have stumbled upon yet another advanced alien civilization, although this time under a direct threat from the Flood. From what could only be assumed as the species home planet, the Flood had amassed a fleet that was tearing through the planets defense fleet.

The massive station above Karaan was finished. The planet was returning to normal, even improving with the GECK machines purchased from the Imperium of Man.

Crescendo attacks had ceased nearly everywhere, save for the anarchy that was the remains of the UHR. The human empire was falling apart, its considerable strength falling to Crescendo control. The influx of resources and manpower was enough to allow Crescendo to expand, setting up research and intelligence centres in uncharted and undiscovered regions of space. Crescendo operatives and cells stopped all hostile actions. Instead, they focused on buying advanced technologies and replicating them. Undiscovered citizens of the Imperium attempted to buy Nanosuits to send back to the home base. Pip-boys, and several GECKs were bought for study as well. In the Caldari Consulate, gel computers and combat skins were items of interest. Antimatter reactors and cyber warfare tech were secondary areas of interest. The few operatives among the Republic began to purchase civilian technology, ranging from Omni-tools to mass effect field generators.

Grazhog and his Krantt continued the experiments unquestioningly, no longer caring about the Tau experiments.

The massive population boom that was underway allowed a great expansion into surrounding systems. Krogan, Turian, Batarian, Wookie, and Human colonies sprung up, all contributing wealth back to Karaan, and the Union. The wealth of the now thirty colony systems allowed for expansion on the fleets, and the construction of a massive battlegrid over the planet. When the planned construction was completed, space elevators would provide the only access to the planet. Massive planetary shield generators were built, powered by the most ambitious construction yet. Thousands of muon induced, cold fusion reactors in a huge underground complex would provide power to the planetary shields, and in peacetime could easily supply the whole planet.

The Inquisition did not rest for an instant, and continued trying to hunt down, and destroy all Cresendo operatives in the Imperium. The cowards would not be given any time to rest, and regroup.
