And there you have it, an RP that will hopefully shed some light on my nation and it's quirks. But before we begin I'd like to hear your opinion on where this RP should take place:

-one of the planets inhabited by the genomitans?
-a genomitan terrarium (a asteroid that was hollowed out and terraformed on the inside)?
-or a bioship in one of the nomadic fleets?

So far The Floor Kippers and The Tavan Race changed their vote to from planet toterrarium and from terrarium to bioship respectively, so currently the actual poll should look like this:

Name: Sekara Yimai
Species: Genomitan Small
Age: 27
Gender: hermaphrodite
Occupation: Envoy (equivalent of a diplomatic delegate)
Appearance: Sekara is a Small, a genomitan subspecies designed for life aboard Genómitan bioships and terraria that retains a childlike size. Standing at an unthreatening 4'11, Sekara has a slight, androgynous build, though with the proportions of a young adult rather than a child. Ze has rich chocolate-brown hair,fair skin and very light brown eyes that constantly seem to gleam with joy, especially if ze gets to meet new people or see new places. Sekara usually dresses in either in hir symbiosuit or hir envoy robes that display symbols of the various alien species ze has worked with.
Description: Sekara is very curious and adventurous, always ready to uproot hirself and visit new places, try out fancy new biomods or generally make new experiences. This, coupled with hir patience and desire to help others made the position of envoy a natural choice ofr hir. Like other genomitans ze is rather touchy-feely, unafraid to get close with people ze doesn't know and usually only abstaining from close contact if the other person cleary doesn't appreciate it.
Equipment and Augmentations: Aside from hir species' general mods ( four arms immunity to the long-term effects of microgravity, oxygen reserve, vacuum-sealable body, prehensile feet etc.) Sekara's senses have also been augmented to perceive spectra ze might have missed otherwise, both to generally experience the world and to aid in communication with other species. This is further augmented by hir symbiosuit, which has access to additional spectra and had it's larynx and mouth parts modified to enable Sekara to speak languages ze normally couldn't.
Anything else: Sekara's grandparents were envoys who were present when the Ksellian race divided into two factions over the question wether or not they should join forces with the Genomitans, which eventually ended with those opposing the rash vow of allegiance of their ruler being forced off-world by their loyalist brethren. Sekara often visits habitats of both loyalists and secessionist Ksellians in an attempt to bring the species together again. While hir attempts have been fruitless so far it has earned hir many friends on both sides of the species.
Name: Mukra
Species: Ksellian
Age: 42 in earth years
Gender: male
Occupation: Diplomat
Appearance: Mukra is pretty much your average Ksellian: roughly 5' from the tip of his snout to the end of his prehensile tail, with a slim, quadrupedal body with four long slender legs ending in four-toed prehensile feet and two arms with four-fingered star-shaped hands. His body is covered in fine scales in different tones of green to blend in with the leaves of his homeworld's trees. He has large,sideways-facing eyes with irises the same color as the scales on his head and a elongated pig-like snout. He generally eschews clothing of any sort unless specifically required and instead prefers to show off the elaborate tattoos denoting his position as a Ksellian diplomat.
Description: Ksellians are sometimes stereotyped as opportunistic and unwilling to trust others, and the eager vow of allegiance to the Genomitans by the Ksellian leader and the following schism certainly didn't help matters. Mukra has worked hard to counter the cliche by being an openminded and welcoming person willing to put his faith in others as long as they don't give him a good reason not to. When he and Sekara are together he usually serves as the "straight man" to Sekara's energetic personality, though he's also known to occasionally try to get a rise out of others with a sense of humor that partially stems from his species' dietary habits (they are omnivorous, though they prefer carrion over anything else) and partially out of being raised in a culture that reveres the cycle of life and death and his fascination at many species' abject fear of their eventual fate.
Equipment and Augmentations: Aside from his aforementioned evolutional advantages Mukra has also received the same pheromone glands as the Genomitans and retractable gliding membranes.
Anything else: Mukra has a serious sweet tooth. He always makes sure to check for local sweets when visiting other species and is known to bring back large supplies of foreign candies when he returns from his work.
