About

The United Imperial Armed Forces came into being with the ratification of the Third Treaty of Arms Convergence that functionally united The New Inquisition Armed Forces, The Land of Kings and Emperors Imperial Army and Royal Albion Legion. While each military remains de jure independent, and capable of independent action should treaty obligations necessitate, they are de facto united, with a single command staff with each regional military now divisions within the whole. The UIAF is committed to high standards of professionalism and to promoting and advancing the cause of military imperialism across Nationstates at the point of a sword.

First Victories
2nd April 2013

In its first operation since its formation, the United Imperial Armed Forces took four regions at today's major. Defenders were presumed missing-in-action as they were nowhere to be seen and our forces were able to train unopposed; not that opposition would have achieved anything thanks to Lieutenant General Christopher Bishop's excellent triggering for the raids.



Also taken were The Astral Planes, Ohlohra Continent and Lower South District.

The raids were commanded and led by Lieutenant General Christopher Bishop with UIAF soliders, Hamilcar Barca, Bert and Sir Robin of Aelbarrow in support. Our thanks to our imperialist friends and allies Kantrias who also participated.

basically this. The LKE IAF and TNIAF are still independant militaries, but there is a meaningful structure in place for them to co-ordinate working together far quicker and easier.

Minor Update Victories
3rd April 2013

In an impressive show of strength today with six UIAF soliders involved, the United Imperial Armed Forces took three regions in update training.







We met little defender opposition, once again putting to bed their lies of their protecting of native communities, and what little opposition that was met was dealt with in a fitting manner.



In addition to our successes we also attempted two other missions led by a first time commander. Though they unfortunately weren't successful they are evidence of the UIAF's commitment to train up the next generation of leaders.

Participating were Lieutenant General Chistopher Bishop, Major-General North East Somerset and soliders MagentaFairy, Joshua IX, Edward Leben and Rinusje.

Further Victories

Following on from the UIAF successes at yesterday's minor our combined forces have been out in force again at the Major and Minor updates. These tagging victories not only increase our training and preparation for major missions, but they demonstrate our versatility in being able to deploy significant, and varying, forces at a number of updates over extended periods.

The final region was taken by junior officer Edward Leben in his first successful command scouting and triggering so congratulations to him!

UIAF Support of Allies and Friends and further Tag Victories
9th April 2013

Over the past few days the United Imperial Armed Forces have been active in aiding our friends and allies, both at the update and reinforcing. First at the weekend we aided Europeia in their operations, providing around half the update force, which resulted in the seizure of Green Isles:



At the major just gone the UIAF also assisted in an inter-regional coalition that took the Nazi associated region The Modern German Fourth Reich, where we have now deployed significant reinforcements to aid in The West Pacific's aim of refounding the region.



These two operations also follow on from two missions earlier at the weekend when the UIAF took the regions of Topia and Mount Vendren.

I honestly don't think it's nice to exclude TITO from your war declarations and jubilant, patriotic calls for destruction. They should get to laugh and mock them as much as the rest of us, why deprive them of such enjoyment? And besides, FRUDITO is a way better acronym -- it sounds like some kind of awesome mixed drink.

Except that neither TNI or the LKE is at war with TITO, and so TITO is at best tangential to the UIAF's real interests.

If TITO does something to afront the sovreignty of either party to UIAF, things might change.

The Ascendancy Taken

Few regions have been more consistent political opponents of the interests of TNI and the LKE and its general sphere over the past few years than The Ascendency have. Ranging from their attacks on the TNI-Europeia axis as 'The Hegemony', an apparently malevolent, undemocratic and unmeritocratic grouping that would cause the draining dry of the feeders of nations and the death of NS, through threats all the way to outright war with our treatied ally Unknown, The Ascendancy have long been a thorn in the side of all that is decent in Nationstates.

Yet the noted harbourers of forum destroyers and porn spammers were, at the major update just gone, bought to their knees by a coalition of regions across Nationstates brought together and led by the UIAF, and all wanting to see The Ascendancy fall. Though with less than 12 hours notice, 20 updaters were assembled, with the largest individual contingent of 7 coming from the UIAF. Europeia, Kantrias, the SovCon forces of The Pacific, Equilism and Unknown, The Black Hawks, Balder, British Isles and Ainur all came out in force to aid with the operation.



I doubt it will surprise anyone to hear that the UDL and the FRA turned up in defence of this pariah of the respectable gameplay community. Despite their claims of a moral high ground in their actions, their defence of this region so strongly linked with worst atrocities that it is possible to commit in Nationstates lays their hypocrisy bare for all to see. Fortunately their attempt at preventing our victory was fruitless and they were promptly ejected upon our seizure of the Delegacy.



Not all stories have a happy ending though and unfortunately this is one of them. Not long after our success the founder nation of the region was revived thus cutting short, for the time being at least, any hope that this hated region can be removed from the face of Nationstates.

Given the high profile nature of the target and its successful temporary seizure all UIAF troops that participated in the update operation have been awarded the Ascendancy Campaign Ribbon:
