Most Well-Known car in your country?

Postby Lamborghinia » Thu Mar 28, 2013 1:50 am

If you look at the grand boulevards of your nation's capital, what is the car (and brand, hopefully) that you could see first/most often?
-Bonus: Pictures please!-

Currently it is the bicycle because our parliament, for some reason, went too far and decided to ban cars. This legislation will soon be overturned, it is hoped. The police aren't really enforcing it, so many still have and drive around in cars.

Prior to this, hybrids and electric models were the most popular since they were the only cars legally allowed in Duckistan. We take the environment very seriously here. As for brand, we had our own national brand call "Quacker autos". Trucks, sports cars, etc., were all very common in Duckistan (and still are).

The Radiatian Motors Kleinteil would be the most common - a bulky, ugly, gas-guzzling giant of a car.

For some reason windowless vans with the words "free candy" scrawled across their side and a large brown bear drawn next to it, smiling, were also very common. The police never investigated these interesting automobiles, largely because parents were exceptionally happy to have free candy delivered to their homes by good semaritans in the "Bear's free candy commission".

Anti-fascism is a common obligation for sensible citizens of modern countries. But why was the term stolen entirely by anarcho-socialists?

Either the Englander Combi coupé (Looks like a SAAB 900, so sue me!), or the trucks transporting wares. Otherwise it's the more usual suspects; Audi, VW etc.

The Jandari Motur XT 900 is a popular and very well known car. It is very expensive, and it is a goal of the entire middle-class to eventually own one.

The most popular car is the Roger Donald Ria. Although infamous for its relatively slow speed, this car from the 70s and 80s has endured until today due to its tough build, and upgrades to its safety systems and fuel efficiency (most now running on electricity) courtesy of its modular design means that it is likely to endure longer still. It is a four door sedan that was sold at a discount due to subsidies by the left-wing government at the time, and it is the best-selling automobile here in the TBRE, though a replacement - the Theta - has been introduced.

No cars are used, as they are banned. However, mechas and motorcycles are still very popular.
I STILL need a new signature.

Well, as for ourselves, just as you guys might've guessed, we DO own the Lamborghini Company, yet our company is a lot different from the original Italian car company: we sell a lot more and various cars in more categories, like sedans, SUVs, hybrids, etc.

The most common car in the larger cities is the Thuraski Motors SCV-03, as the previous government designated the SCV-03 as the official government fleet car. More recent governments have sold the sizable surplus SCV-03s, so they end up in the hands of the general public. In the country, older cars like the Thuraski Motors OUJ-73 and TFR-83 are commonplace.

The '56 Corvette is the most well known car in the CSC- not because it is the most popular, but because President Mackenzie drives one.

The Demacom Landis is a rare car, impossible to buy in the nation. They are given out to select government officials, party officials and high ranking bureaucrats to acknowledge their service to the State and to Marx. The rest of the population rely on mass transportation or their legs to get around.

In terms of what are around in the greatest numbers, the most significant cars would be the RAW 170 and RAW 180, mid-size and compact cars respectively. Neither have anything about them that's extraordinary or unique. They're as generic as you can get.

Either the Beetle or the Fiat 500, their unique look and cheap price made them popular here especially in post war conditions.

Trucks and SUVs are generally most popular, among these the GMC Sierra, Ford Bronco and Land Rover Defenders are the most common of these. Our notion on motor vehicles are all-around vehicles for any task, though in urban areas the Opel Vectra, Mercedes C-Class and Audi A4s has been on the rise in popularity. Small vehicles such as the Fiat 500 are generally not a part of Mallaskan style, and expect key marks when you park one in public. Compact cars are seen as lacking in capability and are such frowned upon over multipurpose vehicles.

As we are located in the Antarctic, conventional cars have a hard time dealing with both the extreme temperature and the relative lack of roadways. The most common form of automobile transport requires either specially modified six-wheel drive vehicles, or else the new "Concept Ice Vehicle" such as this one:

The average citizen tends to drive a very small, compact car such as this model by Rivolto Motors:

We are, however, also well known for our sports cars, such as the MLX-9001 by Orsini Autocarro:

It is the Hummer. It is so popular that even though they stopped producing them in the USA, they are still producing them here.
