Security Council Proposal - Unalignment

Postby Laiosenia » Sun Mar 03, 2013 8:38 pm

The Federation of Laiosenia has come to the conclusion that starter regions are a potential danger. Regions that starting nations are sent to are an unnecessary hassle, so in resolution, starting nations are not in any region. They are still freely able to create or join a region, but they are at first "unaligned."

PROPOSES: Starting nations have no region.

REASON: Unnecessary hassle, unduly creates large, powerful regions due to the constant increase in nations.

PROs: Will ease recruitment processes for other regions, will give starting nations a new sense of freedom from the start.

CONs: Website coding changes. (Not sure if even a possible change due to this, but the shot must be made.)

CONCLUSION: The Federation of Laiosenia proposes for starting nations to be "unaligned." Will simplify recruiting processes, eliminate unduly large regions, and give new players a new sense of freedom (They will not feel as if they are bound to a certain region.).

Thank you for reading my proposal, it is my first.

Understood, I specified I wasn't sure about it. No proposals of this nature will be made in the future.

cool idea, shame it can't happen though.

They have to start somewhere
Never underestimate the power of cynicism, pessimism and negativity to prevent terrible things from happening. Only idealists try to build the future on a mountain of bodies.

The Thing to Remember About NationStates is that it is an almost entirely social game - fundamentally, you have no power beyond your own ability to convince people to go along with your ideas. In that sense, even the most dictatorial region is fundamentally democratic.
