Would you date a transgender?

I had a dream yesterday that I was married to a transgender woman. (Meaning she was born a male)
Up until that, I hadn't really thought about it, but now I wonder if I would be able to go out with a transgender girl.

In the dream I didn't really have a problem with it, so maybe.

If you're in a relationship now, and the person you're with turns out to be transgender, would you stay with them?
Or if a transgender person wanted you to date them, would you?

No.It's as simple as that.If I were in a relationship I would consider them not telling me before a hand a very grave breach of my trust and pretty much a sign that they don't know that love is about sharing all important things between each other.The fact they're transgendered would be less offensive to my sense of ethics than the fact that they were not open with me and chose to breach my trust. it is better to be turned down gracefully than to earn someone's ire.

Assuming I was made aware of the fact beforehand then yes, I probably would. If I found out after I started dating a transgender, I would probably break up with them, but for a breach of trust rather than the fact that they changed sex.

OP, I think the correct term is 'a transgender person' not just 'a transgender'.

Personally, that's an extremely difficult subject. I think that, providing said person was 100% comfortable with the resolution of their gender then I probably would. Obviously things like this are entirely on a case to case basis just as any person though - there is probably so much variation in the trans* community that it's impossible to judge the entire demographic simultaneously.

Yes, I would, if they -like with anyone else- looked appealing and had a nice personality. I think it would be nice to know in the early stages about them being trans, but I wouldn't be mad if I was told when we got more serious. I fell in love with the person, not their past.

Sounds more like pansexual. I also agree. It would be nice if they told me, that way if we planned on having any kids we could prepare for that.

If I was attracted to her etc then yes I would. The gender of her birth would be irrelevant to the relationship, the person she is now would be the only thing that mattered to me.
