ISANDEPAIS

Creation Story

Since the beginning of time, there has been two gods; Isan and Pais. Isan, the god of water, and Pais, the god of fire, have been at constant war. In the Treaty of Ikanhowertyiu [Ik-yan-how-yer-tea-you] they decided to form a civilization that would end the matter by choosing whom to worship. They used the Ancient Magic that was bestowed upon them by Mother Iziyutre [Izzy-you-trey] that went beyond the powers of their godship, water and fire, to humans. They formed them out of Mother Iziyutre's hair, a rainbow of colors, spanning from white to black. Izan and Pais gave the humans many gifts, in attempt to persuade them to worship himself. By the Treaty of Ikanhowertyiu, they were given one year to get the humans on their side. After the year was up, the humans had built a mighty empire and had gone through countless wars and generations (This was a god's year, around equal to 10,000 human years) and they had chosen Isan, the god of water. Pais was extremely angry with the humans and destroyed half of the world, Isan tried to stop Pais but was without victory. The humans asked Pais that if they built him a temple bigger than their world for him and a temple smaller than their world for isan that he would let them be. Pais agreed and so they built him a fiery temple for Pais and a subtle, dark one for Isan. Isan was annoyed by this and asked Pais to be shown for half of the day and Pais for the res, he agreed. Their temples are the present-day sun and moon.

If you have suggestions on how to improve Isandepais, don't hesitate to say!

Also:

Isan is pronounce I-san (Similar to Nisan)
Pais is pronounce pay-is ("is" is similar to miss)
