Civil War[Open,MT]

Following several months of a down spiraling economy, near daily protests, often with OMON just sitting around watching, things were looking pretty bad. Since the President had freed the economy, nothing good had come. Nearly all industries were taken over by a few choice people, and they enjoyed a nice lifestyle in some of the newly constructed cities. Essentially, you could say that there were 3 different groups; the average person who suffers, the military, who's ranks are filled with the former, and the rich and well off.

The rich people, with their money had built walls around their cities, to keep others out and protect them from the military, who now roamed around robbing people because they were no longer getting payed, food rationing was nationwide. Because they had no say in military affairs, they had bought private security; the best money could buy.

In Veblensk[1], a group of military officers stormed the government building and killed the president and most of the cabinet. At exactly 8am, they had a meeting with as many people from the city that could fit inside and the surrounding prospect. It was decided, that they would restore the real Soviet Republic, instead of the democratic mess they had to put up with for the past few years.

There were mixed feelings about the assassination; while some were happy that they would get to old government back[provided they could locate the old premier, anyway] others were upset, and believed the democratic regime wasn't given a chance. In some areas, such as the Kolgujev[greenish, tiny], Kavkaz[5] and North Drakovia[12] districts saw this as an opportunity to gain their independence. They were quick to have their local officials titled the leaders, and North Drakovia prepared to invade the Uzlovaya[11] District, as it fell within historical boundaries. In the Kolgujev district, members of their newly formed military were quick to fire on the federal forces stationed there, catching them by surprise. The out numbered troops, who had little idea what was going on immediately began a counter attack, mostly to hold their ground. They fired massed artillery into the city of Petrograd, killing thousands within a few hours. The Kavkaz district was more verbal about their intentions, and wasn't quite ready to fight off any attackers. They did say, however that they wished to remain neutral, and would take any refugees that would no doubt be moving in.

The units stationed in Kolgujev were able to contact the old GHQ, who simply told them to hold their ground until reinforcements arrived, however long that could be. Within a day or two, North Drakovian forces crossed into Uzlovaya. They were a division in strength, made up of people of Drakovian descent. They were bent on purging the others, the communist scum that had occupied their homeland and destroyed their culture. Red Army units evacuated as much of the Soviet population as they could and moved north into Uzlovaya, warning them about what was to come, and they prepared to defend the district at all costs. It shouldn't be too hard, since together with the Uzlovaya units they numbers at least 50,000, including irregulars and MVD troops. Unless the North Drakovians had help..

The divisions in Veblensk were preparing to assault the walled cities and take back the stuff that belonged to everyone; they also had lists of every person of importance, and would capture or kill them all. The other non separatist districts were in communication

[ooc: two of the three want full independence. North Drakovia is more nationalist, while the other is centrist]

Perm, 30km south of Uzlovaya

As the last of the vehicles transporting the refugees past the northern checkpoint, the MVD nits who stayed behind with an Army detachment began fortifying the southern parts of the city, especially near the bridge where the incoming Drakovian paramilitaries would be coming from. The lack of vehicles was a result of a need to move the civilians, so they were left with 6 BTR-80, 3 BMP-3 and a pair of T-80BV.

"Patrol to 'Swordfish', hostiles advancing,9km out, returning to position, over"

Major Kuznetsov confirmed over the radio, then told everyone to get into positions. They had an SPG-9 set up in the 3rd floor of a building to take out any light vehicles that hey could have.

After about an hour, the North Drakovian paramilitaries were at the bridge. A sniper on the upper floors of a building relayed the information about their assault force; they had an uparmored bulldozer to break the gate, so that a number of Ural and GAZ-66 trucks could get through. As it crashed the gate, the Major waited a few moments before ordering the SPG-9 to take out the bulldozer. The round took out the engine and the vehicle began to burn, just as an NSV fired bursts into the cabin.

A squad of OMON soldiers began shooting from their trench into a Ural that was closest, emptying their mags within seconds. The survivors of the assault quickly exited the vehicle, scrambling about to find cover. A BMP-3 rolls around the corner of a nearby building, and fires an HE-Frag round at a Ural.

The rebels, taking heavy fire from multiple directions while being caught out in the open pull back past the bridge with the main force. They now knew that the entrance was heavily defended, and now needed to come up with some plan to get through..

The Major was proud of the successful repulsion of the North Drakovian units; not only had they just inflicted at least 20 casualties within a few minutes, they hadn't taken any at all. Despite this small victory, he continued to try and call for air support.

Veblensk

As the new Soviet Counsel tried to get everything running smoothly again, they looked through the diplomatic channel. As a reply to the nation of The Royal Code, they had told them that they expected to have the rebellions put down in a month or less..

GNN interview with forces fighting in an upper class city state south of Veblensk

"Fighting throughout the country has broken out, with elements of the military attempting to keep the nation from falling apart. We sent a film crew to the nation to report on the situation."

(The crew is with some soldiers who are resting in a heavily damaged building]
GNN: "Hey, so that you assaulted this white building?"
Soldier: "yes, our troops captured, and we helped them with support sniper fire."
GNN: "It is known that you are a great anti-sniper specialist?"
Soldier: "heh, not so great."

(Footage shows some destroyed street sectors, and burning BTR's that got ambushed. heavy gunfire is audible, and amplified by the basement where the crew interview what appeared to be a spetsnaz operative)

GNN: "Tell us for example, not telling secrets, how many did you killed last night?"
Soldier: (rolling his eyes) "for last night...one machine gunner, two snipers. It wasn't until this morning we were able to advance forward."

(footage of a bombed out suburb, where the field hospital was set up. The fighting isn't too far away, so wounded soldiers are often carried over to get treated. They interviewed a mustached officer, though he seemed to rant about the conscripted soldiers for the battle. As the main army was busy elsewhere, they had to quickly gather troops from the public.)

Officer: "And what are these soldiers? I have a sniper that has -5.5 sight. He can't fucking see, and he is fucking deaf, mine explodes three meters away, he doesn't hear. And he was arranged for sniper...three days ago squad was formed and brought here. With whom can we fight? They don't even know how to fight in city. BMP-3 gets hit, crew does not leave it. Tankman goes near to save it with its own armor and shouts: "dudes!! get fucking out of there, you are out of action!" They didn't get fucking out. Tankman got hit by fucking RPG, and he went away, BMP burned with the whole crew. What? Who? We should crush these bitches.. But we should crush with at least month of preparation."

Gracefall has privately declared intent to it's allies that it intends to take advantage of the situation and take Chernobyl-Pripyat as a protectorate or colony.

Soldiers and tanks surround the borders, planes doing multiple runs overhead off and on throughout the night. They seem prepared to fight at the least provocation.

I've never seen such number wanking in my life. You have a 900 million population, how can you possible have more than 500 million people in arms.

Or even 100 million tanks considering tanks require like four people to operate, and more to maintain.

25 million Naval ships? Naval ships can have crews of hundreds of people, seriously there are more people in your military than in your country.

I can't even support those military numbers with a 6.3 billion population.

Hall of Ministers, Weiyang Palace, Chang'an, Xin Han Empire

The large plasma screen televisions blared the violence and chaos brewing in the civil war torn country of Chernobyl-Pripyat. The Excellencies, Ministers, and Capital Office Heads sat around the lacquered meeting table with looks of shock upon their oriental faces. All of them were dressed in traditional clothing, signifying their designated rank and stature with the Empire. Numerous television screens surrounded the main plasma screen. Each of the surrounding screens, 25 in all, contained the images of the provincial governor generals and the military governors, as well as the commandery administrators. Seated at the head of the table in an elegant golden chair was His Imperial Majesty himself, the Emperor of the Xin Han Empire.

"Director of Dependent States Zhou Man, what is our official standing with Chernobyl-Pripyat, neutral I assume?"

"Yes, Your Imperial Majesty. Although, the large province of North Drakovia seems to hold a ideal government that Your Imperial Majesty's Empire could support."

"Liu Quan", interrupted Zhuge Luo, "I suggest we support these 'rebels'. Although we favor order over chaos, supporting the nationalist North Drakovians could prove useful in our crusade to rid the world of the left. We should not, however, directly involve ourselves in the conflict as it could lead to war.

"Ah, Luo, you always seem to be thinking what I am thinking. I am glad that I appointed you Imperial Chancellor when I ascended to the Dragon Throne."

A long pause presided throughout the room, no doubt the central government leaders were in silent prayer. Once the leaders were finished, the Grand Commandant decided to speak.

"It seems as if the North Drakovian forces are underarmed. I move to send not only our finest weapons, especially our HIAF-Longs and Feng Huangs, but our best military advisors and engineers. Perhaps I could even rally some of our allies military leaders to the cause."

"As Director of Dependent States, I will send the official offer to the North Drakovians. Grand Commandant Guan Yun, start sending the shipment of weapons to the North Drakovian government. I feel they will accept our generous offer."

The Emperor nodded in approval of the plan by officially drawing up all of the paperwork himself, giving it the Imperial Seal, a symbol of his authority.

The following message is for the eyes of the highest members of the North Drakovian government. Encription level: Huang Long (Highest Level)

Dear Leaders of North Drakovia,
Congratulations on your efforts against the oppressive and immoral regime of Chernobyl-Pripyat! Our government is more than ready to recognize your nation as an official independent and sovereign state. With recognization comes trade and diplomatic relations. While we understand your nation is having minor 'setbacks' with the soviet government of Chernobyl-Pripyat, we ask for no return for any sort of 'aid' we plan to send to your magnifacent country. Our Empire is willingly to send you the following: 100 Bai Hu-09s (MBT), 25 Zhu Que-09s (Gunship), 20 Long and Feng Huang-09s (Stealth Fighters and Bombers), 2 Pan Gu-09s (Aircraft Carriers), 15 Xuan Wu-09s (dual-Battleship/Cruiser), and 5 Mazu-09s (Subs). We hope you will be able to accept our goods, along with a 10,000,000,000 Dan donation from Our Imperial Treasury. Just ask if you need more by using our statistics.

Happy Hunting,

OOC: I seem to have made a vast number of mistakes. I copy + pasted the setups... the ships was supposed to be thousands, supposed to change that, and for some INCREDIBLY stupid reason I included the reserve in the number for the army. I'll fix that right... now.

OOC UPDATE: Okay, updated numbers. This may seem a tad ridicoulous, but a couple of things: a lot of these are half reserve (I.E. not in use, I.E. not really being manned), and also the "soldiers" are included to be the drivers of tanks/ships/planes and are thus included in the numbers... I could split them up if that would make it easier.

EVEN MORE OOC UPDATE: Also, everyone within the certain age that is male is drafted to the army. No exceptions. Unless they dodge, in which case they will be executed.

The Federation of Oseato
Office of the President of the Federation

The Federation of Oseato is deeply saddened that the former Drakovian people have seen fit to cause problems for the great nation of Chernobyl-Pripyat yet again. Our own Oseaton Protectorate of Southern Drakovia entity is experiencing turbulent times as they move toward what was perceived peaceful independence. While what little troops we have in the region are occupied dealing with the crisis developing, we pledge to do whatever it takes in order to help crush this secessionist movement.

That being said, we wish to offer a possible peaceful solution: Any former Drakovians currently in active rebellion against the rightful government of Chernobyl Pripyat may immigrate to the Oseaton Protectorate of Southern Drakovia, if they so wish. We offer this in hopes that many Drakovians will cease their separatist activities and will instead live in peace in Southern Drakovia.

Please do not hesitate to request support, we consider your nation an ally of Oseato.

While the North Drakovians hadn't been able to advance into Perm, other detachments were moving throughout the countryside burning entire villages of the "illegal occupants". They had since retrieved some T-72 tanks and a few BTR's,which proved effective against militias as they didn't have any weapons other then hunting rifles and AK-74's.

Meanwhile in their new capital, their leader, referred to as the "Director" in title received the message that was sent by the Xin Han Empire. He sent a reply shortly after, once he discussed it with his board.
Liu Quan, Emperor of the Xin Han Empire

We are greatful for the assistance, though we will be unable to accept the naval equipment due to the fact that the Naval port is under their control, and the enemy has likely sealed the river inlet. The aircraft, we still lack a suitable airfield for them moment, and plan to capture one soon. As for the tanks, we would require some advisers to train my military in their use.

- Head Director Micheal Volkoff

---------------

Perm

The North Drakovians were unable to find any suitable way around the river, and had to deal wih attempting to cross the Grazov Bridge. They took heavy losses to Soviet snipers from the buildings up close from SVU-A rifles, and the occasional shot from a KSVK. The field commanders realized that the only way to get in the city, was to move everyone at once. By doing this, they should be able to route the soviets back a few blocks and take the city entrance, but at the cost of up to 40% of the assault force. They didn't agree with this, but they had orders from the Director himself. once they took the mouth of the bridge, they could begin to move some 30,000 troops into the city, from nearby units. They only had about 1,500 with them at the moment; not enough to take and secure the city.

In the central areas of the city, they set up the fire support base, and had several points dialed in, all within range of the 2S3's from the 1523rd Artillery Battalion. Upon request, they could fire shells and hit the enemy up until they were out of shells.

Around 2pm, the assault began, 10 trucks sped down the bridge as the initial attack. One of the snipers shot the driver, causing that truck to collide with a support beam, killing or injuring most of the fighters in the crash. As they went through the gate, dismounting under heavy MG and sniper fire, they pushed forward to the buildings where they believed snipers to be. The major called in artillery, and within a few seconds shells began falling upon the area near the gate. Moving up the bridge was about 300 light infantry, using the chaos at the gates to move in for the most part unnoticed. As soon as the snipers took their attention off the enemy in the immediate area, they fired at the light infantry, targeting flag bearers, officers, medics, AT troops, etc.

The major, sensing they would be overrun ordered all his troops to pull back to the 2nd defense point, which was a factory district. As they pulled back, the T-80BV's fired 125mm HE shells at the mouth of the bridge, along with PKT and NSV fire. One shell from the artillery took out most of a platoon as they were on the bridge, while at the same time making the structure unstable. The OMON soldiers on the street, who had taken heavy losses from the wave attack were the last to pull back, moving with the tanks to the next defense point. The major had called 'Broken Arrow", and a brigade of Motorized Infantry were now on their way to reinforce them, along with a number of Su-25 CAS aircraft.

Office of the Director of Dependent States, Weiyang Palace, Chang'an, Xin Han Empire

Director of Dependent States Zhou Man sat at his spartan, bamboo desk with a wrinkled face and aging facial hair. A flask of rice wine was half drained, while a cup of the burning liquid was firmly grasped within the Director's left hand. He looked at it with disgust before chugging the liquid, clenching his teeth together as it seared his throat. The desk was full of papers, the most notable being a transmission from Director Volkoff of North Drakovia.

Across from Zhou Man sat a man in a green Imperial Army uniform. Numerous medals were pinned upon his left breast, adding to his perfect creased trousers and polished boots. His army cap lay upon his lap. The man stroked his long, flowing beard, something that he was very famous for, attaining the nickname of the "Bearded General" and "Heir of the God of War". Although the man was a Lutheran convert, he held his ancestry to the God of War in the Daoist religion, Guan Yu, in the highest regard.

Enter Guan Yun, Grand Commandant of the Xin Han Empire, the equivalent to Commander-in-Chief and Minister of Defense. He was the ultimate military leader and fighter, often taking to the field with his soldiers. Not to mention, Guan would be next in line to the throne of Xin Han if all of the Lius and Suns died out and he was an extremely close friend of the Emperor.

"Man, I have cancelled our current shipment of naval weapons to North Drakovia and increased the amount of Bai Hu-09s by 400, increasing the total amount of donated MBTs to 500. I have ordered 200 of our Dragon Spec. Ops. to help train the North Drakovian forces, as well as conduct their own missions."

The Minister of Foreign Affairs (Director of Dependent States) looked at the Grand Commandant with fear in his eyes. He immediately opened up his computer, which was completely encrypted, and began to type a letter to Director Volkoff.

"Guan Yun, haven't you though about the reprecussions His Imperial Majesty's Empire could face if our special operations units were caught by Chernobyl-Pripayat? It would mean war! Besides, you know how much His Imperial Majesty hates leftists. He would attempt to completely erradicate the Chernobyl-Pripayat government with a numerous Huang Long strikes, which have only been tested once with success."

"I know! But we cannot let my Brother, I mean His Imperial Majesty, down. If we send in our Spec. Ops. unit, we have a better chance at actual success. Besides, my units have endured special training that allows them to endure even under the harshest torture. We have a chance. With our money, the North Drakovians can build up the arms and secede. Just think of how we will look to all rightist rebel groups once the North Drakovians succeed?"

"We will be viewed as liberators, and soon more rightist rebellions will take place in which we will supply the arms. Plus, left will take a second look at us and perhaps view us more as liberators. Our nation will then be the epitome of conservatism!"

Guan Yun's face showed not just his joy with the Director of Dependent State's decision, but his ability to influence other ministers in the favor the Emperor. But Zhou Man hardly noticed Guan Yun's happiness. He was too busy typing up a new letter to Director Volkoff.

For Head Director Michael Volkoff's Eyes Only. Encryption Level: Huang Long (Highest)
Dear Head Director Volkoff,

On behalf of His Imperial Majesty, I assure you that assistance is on the way. Our tanks and aircraft shall arrive shortly with 400 more tanks on the way. Our advisors will arrive with the first shipment, while a set of our special operations unit, 200 to be exact, will arrive with the 400 extra tanks. This unit will not only train your military, but shall conduct special missions that you will, I assume, assign to them. The naval shipment has been put on hold, but will be sent once things turn out better in that department for yourself. The 10,000,000,000 Dans, equivalent to around $15,000,000,000 has been wired to your government's account using secret encryption software, to ensure that the enemy doesn't know a thing. One more thing, all of our icons upon our weapons have been stripped to ensure our secrecy in this civil war. Don't be afraid to ask for more aid as we have plenty to spare.

With the Utmost Sincerity,
Zhou Man
Director of Dependent States of the Xin Han Empire

Meanwhile, throughout the Empire, the Imperial Military was put on full alert, including the Reserves, Police, and Militia. Emperor Liu Quan was preparing for the worst. Signals were already being relayed to his experimental weapons, hidden in arms of space.

Read the spoiler if ya wanna know my military equipment.
Embassies in MS: Barnetsville
Embassies in other Countries: Barnetsville
Military equipment in Metallic Slumber:

E-44 Fighter plane, can be mass produced. And is a cheaper equivalent of the F-16 at 30 million a piece in MS money.
E-67 Fighter Plane. The superior plane to the E-44. At 167 mill a piece in MS money.
Z-6 Bomber Plane. Can be slightly mass produced at 45 mill MS money. Better than the B-52 Stratofortress, but not as good as the B-2 Spirit.
M4 Carbine is the widely used weapon for “normal” infantry.
MP5-N and variants for Special ops mostly.
M1-A2 Tanks and M1 Tanks and LAC’s.
Weapons to advance when they advance higher in real life except for the planes. And these are just the ones mostly used.

La Une Sur Une 19h30
Létat-1

Jean Poboy: This evening we debate the Motion of Solidarity passed today by the National Assembly and the statement issued today by Antoine Lacroix, head of the Ministry of Defense. With me tonight are DSP assemblyman Henri Germaine, LibDem foreign policy committee chairperson Lucille Valeur, and Fatherland party member and governor of Nostrepaix, Loïque Beaului. We start with a clip from Minister Lacroix's speech earlier today.

Lacroix: The national legislature has spoken, and I have received the blessing of President Bréton to offer our support to the OMON forces presently fighting for order and national integrity in Chernobyl-Pripyat. While the people of Northern Drakovia and other regions of Chernobyl-Pripyat have the right to their identity and their culture, violence and secession shall not secure these for them. Thus, we offer our solidarity to OMON. Additionally, we are prepared to deploy the first fleet to Chernobyl-Pripyat as per the needs of OMON to bring this civil war to a swift end. With ten thousand marines, a 70 fighters, thirty bombers, over one hundred of Létat's most modern armored vehicles, three hundred artillery pieces and forty of the new MARS systems to be deployed, the People's Republic believes it can provide a significant boost to the forces for order and social justice.*

Poboy: Assemblyman Germaine, you voted for the measure, why?

Germaine: The forces fighting for order in Chernobyl-Pripyat are - just like General Lacroix said - fighting for order, national integrity, and social justice. Those are values the Létatian people can get behind. Are the OMON perfect? No. But by getting involved we can help them, we can be a voice for justice beyond our borders.

Poboy: Madame Valeur, the majority of your party voted against the measure, why?

Valeur: Frankly I think this is just more DSP posturing, trying anything they can to turn their present electoral advantage into a permanent majority. The idea here is, just like with their efforts to join the Fifth International, to associate Létat with as many Left-wing governments as possible, regardless of their political and civil policies so that in the next federal elections they can turn around and say to the Létatian people - look at our allies, they all favor us, vote for the DSP. We have no national interest in Chernobyl-Pripyat, and I don't think the rights record of any faction in that country warrants our defense, even in the name of Madame Bréton's "Moral Authority" foreign policy.

Poboy: Finally, Monsieur Beaului, a rare show of support by Fatherland for a DSP initiative, why do you think this is so?

Beaului: You know, I think it's a false perception that Fatherland is an embittered, uh, crypto-monarchist party out to undermine the former Republican Front. We are all republicans now. This is a chance to stand up for the values of national integrity and identity that Létat stands for, a chance for us to show that we are willing to die for what we believe in, and I think this country needs that. Whatever our differences usually are with the DSP, we want to make common ground where we can.

OoC:
*- I'm not big on ORBAT and I'm not going to intensively research weapons systems; I don't have the time. Létat's troops are largely seasoned veterans of their own civil war. Infantry kits have been upgraded to be fairly modern, ensuring all troops body armor, night vision, and modern assault rifles. Létatian fighters are average, fly-by-wire craft, easy to maintain if a bit fragile and underpowered at full load. Létatian bombers are less modern, largely dependent on dumb bombs, though JDAM systems are becoming more popular and widespread. Létatian tanks are the last to be modernized, and would not stand up to more modern counterparts. Létatian battle doctrine considers them as anti-infantry platforms, with infantry dominating anti-tank forces. Artillery pieces are a mix of modern and somewhat outdated, but all are able to be coordinated by field commanders using aerial reconnaissance to provide effective and accurate response to battlefield requirements. MARS (Multiple Attack Rocket System) are truck mounted rocket artillery units, delivering a salvo of twenty rockets per vehicle every ten minutes with a full crew. These can be coordinated like artillery units to provide accurate, shocking firepower.

Inside the frigid halls of Fortress Niflheim, on the Arctic Crag, north of the city of Malheim

The Aristocra of the Swabian Ascendancy lounges in his padded leather chair, reading the various intelligence documents that have been carefully placed on his stainless steel desk. The first report he picks up details the current crisis in Chernobyl-Pripyat and contains a military assessment on the North Drakovian nationalists.

The Syndic of Ascendancy Intelligence enters the cold room.

"Aristocra, sir."

"Yes, Syndic?"

"Ascendancy Intelligence has looked further into the North Drakovian nationalists and reports that, without aid, they are incapable of defeating the Soviet scum that currently hold sway in Chernobyl-Pripyat. While our ally, the Great Empire of Xin Han is currently sending military aid, their forces may not be enough to overcome to combined forces of the communist government of Chernobyl-Pripyat and its many allies who oppose the nationalists. Sir, it is the recommendation of Ascendancy Intelligence that Ascendancy forces and advisors be committed to the fight."

"And such a commitment would include...?"

"Sir! I have spoken with the Syndic of Ground Forces as well as the Sydic of Space Resources and Weaponry. We believe that a three phase plan should be considered for aiding the North Drakovian nationalists. We call it Operation: Bright Horizon, as a part of the overall plan to contain and eventually eliminate communism called Operation: Extirpate. First, We should engage Project BrightStar, our military laser system, to bring down enemy communication satillites to cripply the ability of the enemy to request further aid. Second, Ascendancy equipment and munitions should be sent to North Drakovia, to arm the nationalists with more modern weaponry. Finally, small units of the Army of Furious Purpose should be parachuted into the conflict, with orders to engage in guerrilla tactics inside of the communist-held areas of Chernobyl-Pripyat, to weaken the government by destroying military depots and raiding military convoys. These units should be from our commando force, the Arctic Dragoons."

"Excellent, Syndic. I had come to a similar conclusion."

Do you wish to carry out Operation: Bright Horizon now?"

"What you call Operation: Bright Horizon was enacted 15 minutes ago. I had quickly assessed the situation in North Drakovia, and saw we had to add the nationalists. I did add a phase to your operation though. Bombing to ensure the destruction of Chernobyl-Pripyat's bridges and roads to slow government forces from destroying the nationalists before Xin Han forces could arrive. You are dismissed Syndic, you may return to your operations"

"Very good, sir."

The Syndic of Ascendancy Intelligence exits

Instead of returning to reading intelligence reports, however, the Aristocra of the Swabian Ascendancy clicked a button on his computer, bringing up a teleophone link to the Great Empire of Xin Han.

"The Aristocra of the Swabian Ascendancy, requesting to speak with the Emperor Liu Quan on matters of highest concern."

"Hold on sir, you will be patched through right away."

As the communications link was encrypted, the Aristocra waited, hoping that the Emperor would be willing to coordinate plans and forces for aiding the nationalists.

Altar Mansion, Shiloh:

Silas awoke to the sound of chirping birds outside his balcony window. The King, happy to here such a lovely noise, turned to give his Queen a good morning kiss. The only thing there to kiss however, was a note with lipstick on it. He suddenly remembered that his wife had an important event down at the University, some sort of speech if his memory served him correctly. With a grunt, the King slowly made his way off his lavish bed and into his morning robe. He walked over to where his coffee and morning paper sat and quickly snatched the two up, sipping and reading as he approached the balcony. Outside, A whole family of Cardinal's was singing on the tree opposite the balcony. Silas smiled at the birds and raised his cup to them, "Thanks for the music boy's." The Cardinals looked at the King, cocking their heads and continuing to chirp. Silas chuckled, now turning his attention towards the paper. The front page contained an article about the continuing civil war in Avenio, reading in bold, "NOOCRATIC REVOLUTION CONTINUES" The King already knew more about that conflict then most people, so he skipped that page and went straight to the funnies. After getting dressed and eating breakfast, The King made his way to Unity Hall with Chancellor Hanson, reviewing all of the issues for today as they went. He quickly cut to the property issue, noticing another Civil War was on the agenda, this time in Chernobyl-Pripyat. The Chancellor quickly brought Silas up to speed on the situation in the country, explaining each side and their supporter's. A few minutes into the conversation, The Kings convoy pulled up to the steps of Unity Hall, allowing Silas and Hanson to disembark. Inside the massive tower, the two made their way threw the decorative hallways and corners, ignoring the Kings Guard on either side of them. Eventually, the King and Chancellor arrived in Chambers, with the Cabinet Patiently waiting for them. The Guard Stationed inside Chambers snapped to attention as the two politicians made there way to the crescent shaped table laid out in the middle of the room. Silas took his seat inside the crescent table while the Chancellor took his position standing behind the King. Silas placed the information on the civil war in front of him and crossed his fingers on the table, looking at each Minister present before him. The King lend back in his chair and gave out a big sigh before speaking, "The only question we should discuss as of now is whether or not we should get involved in this at all." The Ministers looked at one another, surprised by the Kings cautious behavior. When Silas did not continue to speak, the Defence Minister spoke up on the question, "Well your majesty, The Royal Forces can certainly handle another front, I mean we don't have that many assists deployed in Avenio. We also have to take into account how much trouble this country truly is in, there fighting two armies plus there big brother supporters, If we don't do something fast that country will go into complete chaos." The Foreign Affairs Minister jumped from his seat with anger, "Excuse me Minister! I think Chernobyl-Pripyat has enough support from foreign countries! They already have Neo-Erusea, Oseato, and god only knows how many other countries lined up to save their ass! Why should we waste are countrymen when we don't have to!" The Defence Minister shock his head, "The reason why Minister, is that most of these countries can't provide military support anytime soon, save Neo-Erusea. The separatist have an advantage right now, we must change that Minister." The Defence Minister turned towards Silas, "Your Majesty, you must realize we have to intervene." The King nodded, "Yes, it seems we must."
"But your Majesty!"
"Save it Foreign Minister! I have had about enough of your isolationist idealism for one day!" The Minister looked at the King with firer eyes, but he quickly yielded, lowering his head and saying, "Yes your Majesty, my apologizes." Silas smiled, "Good." The King turned towards his Chief of the Defence Staff, "Chief, I want a force mobilized as soon as possible." The Chief looked at the King for a second, almost hesitating, but as expected, he nodded, "Yes your Majesty, it will be done."

From: King Silas Benjamin, Kingdom of Gliboa

My government has been keeping close tabs on the Civil War in your country, becoming increasingly concerned as the situation escalates. I could have combat troops on the ground within hours of this Communique and a fleet within a few days. Whatever you need, may it be food, water, or medical supplies we can provide it, just say the word. I already have the 3rd Royal Fleet and elements of the Kings Guard and Royal Army on standby, ready for deployment. Just tell them where to go and they'll go, simple as that.

Sincerely,

An encrypted transmission from the Aristocra of the Swabian Ascendancy to the Emperor Liu Quan of Xin Han

Encryption Level: Hapspir Barrini Corbolan Triaxis

Your Imperial Majesty, Ascendancy special forces have been dispatched to North Drakovia, as per my pledge, but due to increasing support of the communist scum that currently make up the government of Chernobyl-Pripyat, I am considering escalation of my forces. I shall send in a navy group, Task Force WINTER, to hold off any new opponents we may have working against the nationalists. I humbly request assistance from the Great Empire and Dynasty of Xin Han to further our endeavors to free the North Drakovian nationalists.

Private Study and Office of the Emperor of the Xin Han Empire, Imperial Residence, Weiyang Palace, Chang'an, Xin Han Empire

The large television in front of the solid jade desk sprang to life, showing the figure of close friend. The man behind the jade desk smiled, stroking his mustache in thought. With his free hand, the Emperor smoothed out the folds in his robe, having just entered the office after being rushed away from his spa treatment by an aid. The words of the Aristocra could be heard loud and clear,

"It is such a delight to speak with you, Light of Heaven. There are no need for formalities here."

The Emperor enjoyed a small silence as he sipped at the cup of freshly brewed, herbal tea that had just been placed on his desk by a servant. He licked his lips, not just signifying his pleasure of the tea, but of his pleasure of ideological war and conquest. Liu Quan pressed a red button under his desk, revealing a map of the current positions of the Xin Han Imperial Military and a map of the areas of civil war in Chernobyl-Pripyat. A large, blinking line showed the path of aid from Xin Han to North Drakovia.

"I assume the meeting is about the Civil War in Chernobyl-Pripyat. While my government will not get involved unless certain details are relayed to the communist pigs in Chernobyl-Pripyat, I am prepared for an ongoing conflict. Farming is good, rainfall is numerous as usual, our economy is top notch, defense and law and order spending are of the highest degree, my government is efficient, and both of us can rely upon our Cimbra Corporation."

The Emperor chugged the rest of his tea, slamming the cup down in a fit of national pride and anger.

"We are supporting the nationalists of North Drakovia with military weapons and financial aid. A small unit of Dragon Ops. will arrive shortly and shall be at the disposal of Head Director Michael Volkhoff. I am prepared to call a Huang Long strike to slow the communist pigs down, as only a few of our allies know of our secret weapon. We shall show the world that our nations are willing to support any right-wing rebellion or government no matter the circumstances. We will be the bastion of defense against the left."

Liu Quan glanced down at a document in front of him, smiling menacingly. He held it up close to his face, showing the Aristocra what it was.

"As CEO, General Counsel, and Chairman of the Board of the Cimbra Corporation, I need a majority of the Board to sign this document that will allow our company to provide financial aid to anyone that the shareholders deem fit. In return for the aid, the nation, rebels, or individuals shall sign a minimum 10 year contract with Cimbra. You, Light of Heaven, are the CFO of Cimbra and a member of the Board. I just need your signature and the President of the Confederacy of Denjak to sign it and a majority of not just the board, but the shareholders, will allow for this document to be made as corporate law. What do you say?"

The Emperor imagined a triumvirate...over the World!

Inside of the icy passages of Fortress Niflheim

"Ah, my friend, it is unfortunate that your dream is a distant and passing thing. The board will sign off, I assure you. The military-industrial complex must be fed. I will speak to the president of Denjak soon. Engaging our company in funding and rebuilding North Drakovia will not be easy, we must commit troops to ensure the safety of the contractors. As for the upcoming war, the Army of Furious Purpose will put on alert level KR27, our defense command level, with orders to iniate command Base Delta Zero, total war, if neccessary. Engaging in total war will be distasteful to me, but I will let Chernobyl-Pripyat burn if neccessary. There is overwhelming support for the government of Chernobyl-Pripyat, something must be done. Allies for the nationalists beyond ourselves must be found. I must go now, for I have to oversee troop deploments and other more classified material that I cannot trust to a communication link. Goodbye, my friend."

The Aristocra of the Swabian Ascendancy terminates the computer link and sighs. He thinks to himself, "The upcoming conflict will be difficult. The Ascendancy by nature is isolationist, but has an obligation to free the people of North Drakovia from the oppressive grip of communism. Some of the other Syndics may need to be persuaded before they follow their orders with fully devotion of duty. They must get on board, for we have a defense to plan." The Aristocra sighs again, and gets up to head out of Fortress Niflheim to the Redoubt, the main base of the Army of Furious Purpose.

The Emperor raised a brow at the Aristocra, a sign of confusion.

"Perhaps it is, but I will not stop until it is fulfilled or my family fulfills it."

The sound of corporate dominance lightened Liu Quan's mood, bringing a smile to his face. He loved money right after his love for God, his family, his people, his state, and his allies.

"Well, this is good news. Once the civil war is over, I will have no problem commiting a formidable amount of my troops for reconstruction or North Drakovia. Perhaps we may even be able to make it a superpower."

With that, the Emperor bowed to the Aristocra and exited his study. More plans had to be made.
