Who out there is interested in a good horror dungeon crawler? Mereshka and I have attempted this off-site but it isn't going so well and thus, we want to move it here. For this little event, we will be trading off on the roll of GM.

The general premise is that there have been a number of disappearances and general mysteriousness surrounding a castle and an American task force has been sent to investigate. It will be your semi-cliché haunted (read horror) castle complete with mini-bosses and of course, the big boss. Big Bad, it should be noted, is entitled to more than her fair share of bad-assery.

QUALITY WILL BE ENFORCED. NO ANDS, IFS, OR BUTS.


As for the location, there exists a small island known as Livø in Denmark. It's perfect for us as it has a small town and a slight hill overlooking said town. It can be seen in the first picture (posted below). However, there exists another island, Anholt, that is the perfect geographical location. Anholt is bottom right island in picture two (also posted below) and is off the coast of Denmark. We believe the setting works best to move Livø to Anholt's location and call it good.

We're looking for members of the American squad, though if you have a good reason for someone else to be there, post it and we'll decide.

Also, I'd like to note that we'd like some quality here. I'll be the first to admit that I'm far from the best RPer out there. Average at best. However...there are certain things even I won't tolerate. No godmodding, obviously, no using another's character without permission (pet peeve of mine, that is. Be warned), and of course stay more or less serious in the RP. Characters joking amongst themselves is a-okay, but if for shits and giggles you make them grow a cat tail and start clawing people, thats a no no. And we don't really care how good a writer you are, as, again, I'm far from the best myself, but at least try to use proper english.

Doesn't have to be American, no. We're not going to be very strict on that. Mostly because neither of us is knowledgable enough about military weaponry to be so.

Arrested 3 years later and offered a deal to join the Marine core. He accepts and after his first year is selected by the Navy seals. After his 3 years of mandatory military service are up he decides to stay and make a career out of it. He is a Corporal.

A Infantry Specialist with the Wingman military. Raised a strong Catholic, he dedicated his life to studying the evils lurking in our world. As his father lay on his deathbed, he swore to destroy evil wherever he found it.

Brief description:Lydia had been trained in the art of the Assassin to kill high profile people of the world and with class. Once the proud daughter of the weapons dealer John Roshankovich, who had died because of a mysterious weapons research program gone wrong AKA zombie based weaponry, she had been forced recruited into the agency. Then during training she had been "reprogrammed" as an expert killer of humans and the new threat of zombies.
She had been sent to Curstonia on an order to find and kill the person responsible for creating the zombie crisis and assassinate this person. She had ,however, received through her studies that this person had been the one responsible for the death of her father. "Vengeance" flowed through her veins.

this is the basic outline of her but i will be editing it for the current RP after approval as i wish to follow a tangent that i may have not been able to do on the ZombieLand thread

I do not tolerate non-canon bullcrap and try my hardest to not god-mode. I understand that this isn't very impressive and I do not blame you for kicking me out. Dresses in a black T-Shirt with various band logo's mostly from 60's rock bands like The Beattles and such. Sports long, baggy, and pocket filled pants.
Equipment: A dagger and 1100 Remington (16 gauge). Very simplistic and light.

Even though someone told him that he had to leave he refused to for some unknown reason for himself. He is part of a "gang" if you want to call it that, although unlike most gangs in HCC his gang the "Mara" doesn't kill those unless they deserve to. They are still trouble and they are very rarely welcome.

Assuming you're going to remove the Zombie related bits, I would like to see the final draft in our outline (found in the first post). So far, so good. Though I'd like to take the opportunity and point out that the squad will be more military than special ops or intelligence agency related.

Well he's certainly an interesting character, but if you wish to use a civilian, we'd like a reason for them to be on Livø and get mixed up with the military operation.

Appearance: Willowy at 5'10" and barely 110 pounds. She's around 25 with long brown hair, usually pulled back in a ponytail, and green eyes. She had the common sense to wear a sturdy pair of jeans and flannel shirt due to the events taking place around them.
Equipment: A small collection of hunting knives ranging from short and brutal to long and menacingly destructive. No guns at the request of her bodyguard.
Mini Bio: Bella moved to LIvø as a small, privileged child with rich parents. Recently graduated from college, she wished to return home before going off to start her own life. Her parents were among the first disappearances caused by the castle and now Bella seeks to rectify that by serving as the local guide for the american military operation.

Name: Amato Torregrossa
Appearance: Six foot six of bodyguard. Immensely strong and dressed in a suit at all times he is working, which is always.
Equipment: A service revolver (reminiscent of his military time), a 9mm pistol, and the hunting rifle Bella's father once cherished. His gratuitous levels of ammo are split between his own and Bella's backpacks.
Mini Bio: He volunteered for the military at 18 and served only the required time before finding it not to his tastes. Shortly after, he stumbled across the bodyguard business and was hired by Bella's parents to be her mentor, tutor, and guardian; three duties he served in faithfully. During this whole time he has been Bella's closest friend and confidant, hearing things she refused to tell even her parents. He has yet to fire his gun other than at the practice range since being hired, something he is not complaining about due to his nature as a gentle giant.

The males however have not been successful thus far in trying to get her to open up about her past. She is well respected and revered as the best sword user and sniper on the team.

As Syl said, don't be too reliant on tech. There will be things that will shear right through that vest of yours, and the router won't work. Other than that, looks good.

Sniper or swordswoman, not both. I'm not saying that you can't have both weapons, but specialize in one or the other.
