The Architect (FT, OOC, Interest)

So I have started this thread called The Architect, it set in this galaxy with the rest of FT but I was hoping for one or two other nations/ characters (How ever you RP) to join and add conflict or go along with the ride.

Looks like its got some promise. Is it possible that I could RP as a small group of privateers/pirates? At most I would control about 20 ships, and at the least 5 ships.

I would prefer that the number of ships stayed on the smaller side, just because I am not playing for a massive fleet battle, but a story driven Space Opera that will continue my country's time line and story line.

A mercenary officer, hired by his nation to join the fleet, gets jumped by an unknown fleet before they get to their destination. Enemy fleet destroys all without resistance due to electronic warfare.
The vessel, reading no energy signatures, survives as the enemy fleet leaves a massive scrapyard, later the ship gets attacked by pirates who force he and his crew into escape pods, then uses electronic warfare to halt most of the pods and gun them down, commander escapes, "Precursor Tech" a small spherical object, touches the pod in an asteroid field, Commander EVAs and retrieves the object. Help finds him, he gets a new vessel, and finds out where this thing came from.
