Official Resource Rights Lease Auction
The ÉBE will auction off resource right leases. The leases are 6 years in length. A company, companies only, will be allowed to purchase up to four leases. The companies will not have to be petrochemical companies; however, the only resources allowed to be extracted are petroleum and natural gases. The auction process will be a 3 day long highest bid by midnight US/Can PST one lease at a time. The bidding will begin November 28th at midnight with lease A at the price of $200,000.
