The study of the late Grand Duke was one that had been decorated over the years with many trophies, books, and other sundries that a man would have found on many travels across the world, including paintings from Crystal Spires and Siriene, books from Lamilaria, music and movies from Riemaia, the heads of animals smuggled out of Altea, and of course large fish from the Spur Isles. All of those were not as important to the late Grand Duke, in comparison to his prized humidor filled with cigars from across the region. The walls themselves were not as ornate as what was in the room, consisting of simple ash wood planks with a linseed oil finish, along with a small table located in the middle of the room on top of a century-old purple and gold carpet.

“But your highness…” Atoli, the head maid of the palace said as she nervously looked at the Grand Duchess, “Your father was quite a heavy smoker and this was his smoking lounge that he spent many hours in… it is only right to assume that most of what is in here would smell like tobacco…”

“I don’t care… It really smells…” The Grand Duchess said with a small sad frown on her face, before reverting to her more angry self. “All of this stuff has to go though, the box of brown-wrapped things, all of the books, the movies, all of it! Get the chairs and couch reupholstered in pink! Actually, I want the whole palace reupholstered, the dining room in sky blue, the drawing room in purple, all of the guest rooms in green.” She said with a smile, as she began to look at her clothes, the eggshell-colored dress that she had been wearing for over a year, with its handful of layers. “Oh and I want new dresses, new coats, and even new underwear!”
